Well, I had ordered a Apple iPad 3rd Gen, last week. Despite it being a week since ordering, which is unnaturally long time to verify an order, they still haven't shipped my order. They give stock responses when approached via email and are least bothered about the worries of the customer.


The amount that I paid via debit card is no small amount. They haven't done anything to alleviate my concerns regarding the product. If it is genuine or not. I am cancelling the order if they don't respond to my queries and ship my order by today evening. Very very poor experience shopping from India times not even 1% of Flipkart.

I made an online purchase through shopping.indiatimes, order id 3001614699, but only part of the item was delivered and the remaining accessories were not delivered. I registered a complaint, case id 494536, and followed it up with the customer care at least 10 times over the phone.


Every time they say they will dispatch the remaining items, but they have not done so. If I call them about this, they say the technical team will get in touch with you. However nobody contacts me. Never shop on indiatimes.

Just WOW!!! Times Internet, take a bow!! Please...i insist! Where do I start? There is SO much to write about you guys, but you know what? I'd rather not waste my time on such spineless souls. So my apologies in advance to all the readers/distraught buyers, but after careful consideration I had to HAD to write a review! You guys at indiatimes left me with no option and have really pushed it this time!


On the 13th of this month (Diwali) I, as any normal considerate human being would, was celebrating a no-crackers diwali with my friends when I realized that I had misplaced my Motorola Defy cellphone (bought from flipkart, initially) . After searching in vain for at least an hour, me and my friends eventually gave up. Not being a spoilsport, I just carried on with the celebrations though there was important stuff in the phone. Letting bygones be bygones, I dunno what got into me...maybe I was high or whatever sh*t... I went online at around 11:20 pm, and started browsing through flipkart. Not finding enough motorola handsets in stock (yes, I am a motorola loyalist), I somehow, accidentally came across an indiatimes banner ad on some blog I guess.  And that my friends, was the day and time I signed my own death certificate, so to speak.


Cutting  the long story short I made a purchase from indiatimes website, a Motorola Fire XT 311,  Order No. 3001667828; Case id 523865 (if that means anything to you); got a great diwali discount YAY but have failed to get the product...even till now!  Good going guys! Great job! Another dissatisfied customer added to your "We don't give a fk" list! NO? What followed after a week was a chain of calls from my end, of course, and some hilariously annoying online chats with your 'fk you customer, we don't care' executives (don't even get me started on this).


I can actually go on and on insulting you guys online....on blogs...on any other forum/media and might even get paid by your competitors too for that (if i'm lucky) but seriously if you guys are so hellbent on screwing your company, its reputation and image, be my guest but NOT AT MY EXPENSE...NOT AT THE COST OF MY HARD EARNED F*KING MONEY!!!!


I really don't care how big a company or an organisation you are... you have messed with the wrong guy! And please send this message across to some senior guy or manager in your department, won't take any names...not even Himanshu Jahangir's OOPS I just did!!! The guy has some audacity to reject my calls after reassuring me saying  "Sir, I will give you a call on Monday, myself...you have my word!" to determine the fate of my product!!??? Bullsh*t!!!


I have just one thing to say now...do not take this as just another review! I've done my homework and am looking forward to your "Dear Nishant, as per our conversation we are taking follow up with our concern team in this regard and would provide you with the requisite resolution very soon." Copy and paste job you do...n stuff! I don't want empty promises...i want results! Either you deliver the product, in mint condition...everything thing intact and working cos honestly tum logon ka pata ni cell phone bhi kya bhijwado...and then I'll end up writing another crappy review and venting out my ire here...elsewhere!


Kripya karke mujhe mera phone bhej do yaar...else refund hi karoge aur kya, that too after wasting 15 days! Get in touch...ASAP!!!

Never make  prepaid order. I ordered a headphone, but got an empty box. There is fraud involved in this company for sure.


Better be aware before placing an order. Go for flipkart that's good. I have logged a complaint. Don't know whether I have lost my money.

My order(3001680865) included "(Offer: 4GB SD+ Case+14 in 1 Card Reader+ Reebok Watch+ 4GB Card)" but the package was missing the 2nd 4GB card, the 14 in 1 Card Reader and the Reebok Watch. When will the freebies  be shipped?


Also, I want to register my camera on Sony India website for which I need the Dealer's Name and Address. I was wondering whether "Indiatimes Shopping" is the dealer or there is a vendor.

Do not shop from Indiatimes ever. They will deliver even a cancelled order to you. Their customer care is the worst ever lousy team. Despite calling 5 times in last 1 week I have not received a call.


Here is what happened: I ordered a camera bag on 11th of October (Order number 3001549672). I was going abroad for a long holiday a week after, but after reading that shipping dates are never met, I cancelled my order on the same day (Case 444835). Your blind and ignorant team still sent me the bag on 3rd of November (almost a month later) while I was away. It was delivered on my office address and got picked by the office staff in my absence.


I have been calling your customer care center regularly after I arrived and even got a new case opened (492372). Every time I call, someone assures me that I will get a call back. But no one has called me till date to take the bag back and return the charged forwarded on my credit card.


Never shop from this lousy site again. I got a broken oven delivered by Flipkart once. But they were very quick to pick it and refund my money. Atleast they should learn to do business first!

Worst Delivery and support by indiatimes shopping

I have purchased two times with indiatimes shopping. Each time they provide an AWB number which is not at all valid. 3 days back I ordered a mobile in indiatimes shopping(Order Number: 3001689508). I got a mail saying that product got shipped and an AWB number is provided. As usual that number is invalid. I called their customer support center, same reply and an complaint was registered ( Complaint Number: 528059). I know for sure it is waste following up these guy, they will do delivery at their will. They will never provide correct AWB number for sure.


Please avoid shopping from them!!If you can wait for more days and patient enough, you can try indiatimes shopping otherwise please keep away from them.


I keep my fingers crossed about the product delivery and never going to call these pathetic customer center again. These guys will lie again and again.

I ordered a DSLR from this site.. Although the offer was good comparatively.. but I dint know what would follow post that. I was supposed to receive delivery on 18th Nov 12 ... I was given a AWB no (tracking number for a courier company) .. which seemed to be invalid when I checked with the delivery guys.. they maintained that the shopping site never handed over the product to them.


Amazingly .. I was given the tracking code though. I got in touch with indiatimes customer care.. to my horror ... they themselves Did not know where the product was.. I was told every time to hold for 24 hours (today is the 4th day I heard the same st) .. Till now there is no idea where the product is.. THE MOST FED up site

We have bought high value camera due to the really tempting Diwali offer. Such deals are not available at any of the sites either online or offline.


However we are disappointed with the quality of packaging; normally a camera would have been wrapped in a bubble wrap and proper hard board packaging would have been there. But the package is quite flimsy over and above the manufacturers normal company packaging.


Wish they are conscious of such high value items and package the high value items with care and deliver them properly.


But we never faced such packaging problems with items such as books so far.


Service: excellent


Billing: absolutely correct as per the deal offer and remarkable consistency between the call center executive and online deal value


What needs to be improved though:




  • when they send the billing information, the software can be tweaked in such a way that the actual billing value is reflected in the booking summary; but now only the original price before the deal code being used is reflected. It leads to lots of confusion as to whether the system has only shown the deal value but charged any of the original pricing etc., in the minds of the consumer.




  • it also helps the load on the call center executives from such avoidable calls by the consumers




  • ensure absolute control on the delivery agency ie Blue Dart in a way they are sensitized to the fact that the high value electronic or any other items must be properly packaged and also delivered only to the recipient address but not to any security office of an apartment complex.

Indiatimes:Worst shopping experience I ever had

I had placed the order for Sony Cybershot DSC HX 10V Red on November 10th from Indiatimes Shopping. My order Number is 3001655436. After many followups they shipped the order and Provided me with the Tracking Number.Funny thing is  they have mentioned both DTDC and Fedex to track the order.When I called up the DTDC guys they told that they dont have a 12 Digit tracking number itself.


Later I checked in Fedex Website, and there also the tracking number was not found. After repeated followups with them and getting just fake assurances I am filing a complaint here. My expected delivery date was 20th November. Also I have raised the complaint in there website and the Complaint Number is 518868.Never again I will trust these guys.

Ordered a gift to be delivered on a specific time and day for the occasion of birthday.


product not delivered! framed answers from customer care.like .we arrange such things to be delivered by a nearby vendor from your shipping address. n again they say the product is packed from our side and ready for delivery. Will reach by 2 pm.then at 2 pm.will reach by 4.then by 6.now by 8!


When I asked for local vendors number.failed.n declined.saying we can not disclose that.somehow I got that number from google.n worst of all. The guy who picked up the call was extremely rude as in hell.no respect towards customer n said it will be delivered but I dont know when n hanged up.

I purchased a Plantronics headset as Indiatimes shopping were the ones who gave the best offer. I recognize that.. I think they dont stock any item but order to their vendor after receiving payment from customer. I ordered the item on 22-Oct and I didnt receive the item till Nov 1st. But it was shipped on Nov1st and waiting for their wonderful logistical partner.. DELHIVERY such a pathetic service and till Nov 5th, the item was not received.. I called India times and requested for a cancellation of the order.


The executive raised a complaint.. and gave me the reference no.. There were several calls made after that but no one knew the real picture.. They didnt cancel the order till then.. finally the product arived on Nov 9th.. After that I am chasing Indiatimes to take the piece back and refund the money back.. But no response till now..


At the same time, I ordered a book after this which was received within 2 days.. this time Bluedart was the logistics partner.. Everyone knows their service. Very good and timely..

I have been reading lot of thongs which sent shivers to my spines about indiatimes. I read all that after I had ordered a sony vaio laptop, which they were offering at 3 thousand cheaper dan flipkart, , i was prayin wid fingers crossed, but all doubts vanished.


I ordered it on 13th night, , and was expecting to get it on 20th, , but dey delivered it on 19th in a superb packing an I saved 3000 too love indiatimes and fyi I have ordered 2 books frm flipkart. One came and one is lost its awb number is inactive, and they are looking in the matter till date15 days have passed

I have ordered a mobile on 26th October 2012 from shopping.indiatimes.com. Till date I am waiting for delivery of my mobile. Every time, when I call or email some new person picks up call and promise that they would look into issue and revert back in 24 hours but no one turn back so far. Even they give excuses like "your phone was not reachable", As if they are not aware of SMS or email service. If you want to communicate then there are so many options available to you.


Fact is none of them have got true updates with them or probably they do not want to share it.  I am suffering daily due to this. Their service is pathetic. I order this as I thought that this belongs to Times  group and would have some standards. If anyone from concerned group of times of india is reading this then they can themselves look at following case Id - Case ID-492412


INDIATIMES SHOPPING WORST PRODUCTS & CUSTOMER CARE

This is a true review ofshopping.indiatimes.com or indiatimes shopping website. I would like all online shoppers to avoid shopping from this website as this is a fraud website. I had ordered YEPME leggings (order no. 3001597409 name Ravindersingh 2pcs. and order no. 3001597565 Surinder kaur 3pcs total 5pcs) from this website on 27/10/2012 (delivered on 1/11/2012) the price was shown Rs 399/- and after discount it was costing Rs159/-.


I ordered large size as my daughter was using Westside leggings of large size, which is very thick and very stretchable and of very good quality costing Rs 400/- the same as the advertised rates of YEPME before discounting  and I simply ordered as per her size but to my surprise the leggings they delivered was of very inferior quality. It was thin transparent and very small size when compared with Westside leggings and appears that it will not even last for one wash. So I called and also registered a case by reporting a case (case id 483999 Ravindersingh  case id 484032 Surinderkaur) for return as per their return policy on 1/11/2012 itself to which they responded by calling back and confirming the return due to inferior quality and I was assured that they will arrange for the reverse pick up and the entire case will be closed by 20/11/2012.


It is 17/11/2012 still they haven’t arranged for reverse pick up, my case is being handled by someone called Mohan Mishra who was supposed to call me as per executive but till date this shameful fellow is not even calling me to arrange for the reverse pickup let alone closing the case by 20/11/2012.
