Ah, Shaq, quite possibly one of the most dominant players in the NBA next to Michael

Jordan, although Shaq doesn't quite have the finesse or arsenal of moves Jordan has, Shaq is still a dominant player.

Lets take a look at his resume:

• Ave of 30pts per game and 12 rebounds plus 9 Blocks per game

Led the Lakers to 3 NBA Titles

Named one of the top 50 greatest players of all time

3 NBA Finals MVP

9 Time NBA All Star

Over 2 Time MVP of All Star Game PLAYERS

and many other accolades

Besides that Shaq has been put in the same breath as the greatest centers

to play the game: Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, and other

greats.

Shaq has done it all, last year though when Shaq and Lakers could have done something no team had done (win 4 Titles in a row). The team fell apart and

the whole Kobe Bryant situation made things worse.

Of course Shaq himself hasn't helped matters. He does have an arrogant streak that is something despicable. For instance last season he made a racial joke against Rookie Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets.

He basically just made fun of these guy's language which is Chinese and made

a stupid racial joke. The thing that offended me further is the small fine the NBA gave to Shaq. Shaq makes over 200 million dollars in endorsements and his Lakers deal, a small fine does not teach him a lesson.

Prior to this he suffered and deserved several hard knocks. His former team the Orlando Magic made it to the finals in 94 only to lose to the Rockets. Shaq's somewhat lackluster attitude that things were going to be easy didn't work out that way, so this attitude for over 6 years hurt the big man along with the fact that Magic

were facing better teams than them like the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers.

He is also despite his abilities is the most reckless player in the game.

He commits many offensive fouls in games. He knocks over players to get

inside positioning ''inside the post'' and often complains when he gets

caught elbowing players. lol

That is recklessness. He is the type of that will roll over anyone regardless of

inflecting injury to that person as long as he wins. Last Sunday against

the the Kings though, things didnt work out like Shaq. The referees called

Shaq on several offensive fouls. Shaq was never able to get himself

in the game and the Lakers lost.

The strategy for opposing teams as we enter the playoffs, would be to attack

Shaq directly. Shaq's main weakness is that he doesn't like to be provoke

or made offensive moves directly. He has been known to commit silly, flagrant

fouls when tested, so this strategy is the best way to keep Shaq away from the game.

Ask for Shaq for him to have another NBA title he has to play focus, and get

rid of allmightly attitude he comes to the court with as like he is greatest player

in the game (that belongs to Michael Jordan).

No Shaq needs to do what Shaq does best, block shots, hit sky hooks, do turn around jumpers, make fast moves inside the post and fake out players.

When that happens Shaq is almost unstoppable. Itll be interesting to see what happens in the playoffs.

The Lakers are now schedule to meet Houston Rockets in NBA Playoffs!!!

Yes that mean Yao Ming vs Shaq once again, in what will be the battles of the centers once again.

Yao Ming if he defeats Shaq could cement himself as another dominant center, if he fails and Shaq dominates he will again show he is the best player right now in the NBA along with Kobe Bryant.

My vcr will definitely be on standby for this great matchup.

As with Kobe , all eyes will be on Shaq. He will get tested in the first round against Yao guaranteed, it'll be interesting to see how far the Lakers go this season, as every team in the Western Conference: The Sacramento Kings, Spurs, Dallas

Mavericks, Timberwolves, Rockets all have a legitimate shot at going all the way.

Weighing over 300 pounds shaquille o'neal is the most gifetd player since wilt chamberlain.with the height of 7'1 with massive arms and an incredible foot size of 22 ohhh boy you wouldnt want to mess with him.

shaquille o'neal started out his basketball career with the orlando magic.playing sidekick to anfree hardaway he began to establish himself as one of the most dominant centres in basketball history.with the orlando magic shaq finally got his dream of winning his first championship trophy in the 1995-1996 but was trashed out of the nba finals by olajuwon and his rockets.thus after that season shaq headed out for the lakers. a few years down the line after being outclassed by jordans bulls and one season just before jordan's retirement came the young gunning cowboy straight out of high school ''kobe bryant''.now armed with the former bulls coach phil jackson the lakers with the help of shaq and kobe now in the starting line up the lakers made their championship come back.

with over 30 points per game over 10 rebounds and atleast 4 to 5 block a game this tower began to dominate the nba skyline to an extent where even the best players dared not to go one on one with him cause he would just send you home everytime he was guarding the basket.shaq is one of the youngest players to play in the all star game,he became the season and finals MVP (most valuable player) in the 2000 to 2001 season and continued to be the the finals mvp in 2001 to 2002 season.both these years shaq lead the lakers to two back to back championships beating the sixers in 2000 - 2001 and the kings in 2001 -2002.

shaq has now gained his position as one of the most dominant and feared players in the league.nobody even dares to pick a fight with him.he would just fling you out of the arena like he did to the pacers brad miller.the only thing he bad at is shooting field goals out side the D and free throws.that is why most teams so with the strategy called hack a shaq.this is where the will intentionally foul shaq and send him tot he free throw line.but he is improving at it now.his favourite way of scoring though is dunking the ball hard down the hoop.he has even broken the whole back board.a few games back ke caused the the entire apparatus to fold up.

the lakers are now looking for a three peat this year(3rd championship). and the rate at which shaq is going the trophy is not too far away.shaq has also joined his airness michael jordan in the category of gaining over 12,000 points.keep it going shaq and good luck to the lakers.

Well wat can I say Shaq o neal man he is the best.. the Person responsible for me playing for ma College & then for ma Club he is ma Biggest & Best Sport Star.... well it's sorry that basket ball aint that hip & cool in india but then it's certainly ma game &the only person to thanx for it Shaquille-o-neal .... This is has many talents not only he is a great dunker but he happens to be a Kewl Rapper tooo.

A 310 pounds, 7’1 Giant. Well if that is not an intimidating sight then what is. He became a pro in 1992/93 and joined Orlando Magic. He has won the top scorer award for Orlando and since then he is a force to be reckoned with in the NBA. He was traded to the LA Lakers and with the help of Kobe Bryant, the Lakers have won the NBA Championship two times in a row. Already in this season they are going on a prolific run 16-4 in favor of the wins and looking forward to beat the all time record of the Chicago Bulls of 72-13 record. With ‘Shaq’ there in the team that looks more a reality than a dream.

personally I think shaquille-o-neil is one of the best nba baskey ball plays after micheal jordon.

ok I will tell you I went to one of his basketball games that he played in in america he was amazing after the game I met him it was so amzing to be sitting next to a famous basket ball player he told me about his basket ball career and how he got to where he was .

he faced many sacrifices his father died when he was 17 and he dropped outta school to help his mother support his brothers but he kept on playing basket ball for his home town he then got a offer to play professional basket ball but he was undecided because he felt he had to stay and help his mother as they were not very rich poeple and after his father died no money was coming into his home.

he told me that he talked it over with his mother and finally took the nba up on their offer.

shag is truelly one of the best in all of Nba basket ball and one of the honest basketball players he also told me that he is not in it for the money but he has a passion to play like some of us has a passion for music or whatever but he has a passion for basket ball and it was his dream ever since he was little to play professional basket ball and now he has his dream he wants to keep the dram alive .

And one day I hope to play professional basket ball for my country and be as good as shag

In the world of Basketball, one name reigns supreme today. Yes, you have guessed it right. It is the star Basketball player of USA Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal. And for everybody’s information, the first and the middle part of his name means “Little Warrior” in Islam.

And what a warrior he is. He has often been selected to lead what we can call “Not-so-good” NBA Basketball Teams. And u can be sure he has proved it every time he has been assigned the responsibility. His mere presence in the team injects a whole lot of confidence and optimism amongst the team members.

His recent achievements include leading the Los Angeles Lakers Basketball Team to the NBA Title after a big drought of titles in the history of the LA Lakers. He along with star teammate Kobe Bryant and the most successful Coach in the history of NBA, Phil Jackson formed the winning combination to overcome the strong and determined Indiana Pacers team which included Reggie Miller. In recognition of this achievement, Shaquille O’Neal was named the Most Valuable Player of NBA for the year 2000.

Shaquille O’Neal is amongst the strongest guys in NBA with a height of 7 feet 1 inch and a body weight of 315 lbs. He made a great beginning to his professional Basketball career by becoming the first player in the history of NBA to be named “Player of the Week” in the first week itself. After that, he spent a lot of time with the Orlando Magic Basketball Team before switching to Los Angeles Lakers in 1996. In addition to this, Shaquille O’Neal also owns a record label and clothing line entitled “TWISM”.

Hence, at least for me, Shaquille O’Neal will go down as one of the Best Basketball players in the history of the game.
