Hi friends I want to share my review on The best place of kolkata which is science city.In this place every children should contain some knowledge about science subject.I like this place very much.In this science city we visit two show which is very interesting and knowledgeable.One show is about the planet, star, satellite etc .First time I watch round screen which is very interesting and knowledge gathering.In second show we watch 3D show which is also very interesting.I want to visit this place again and again.In science visit we also visit one butterfly garden where various type of butterfly are move freely.we also enjoy roof trolley to watch the whole science city from upward.I collect various experiences in this science city.Thankyou

Hi friends, science city is very popular place in kolkata. I visit it in 1 year ago.But my experience not soo good. There exists a park which is beautiful and clean.This place full of technical things of science but those are suitable for childrens and students not for big peoples.I was becomes very bore. Model and display of this place not worked properly. Entry fee is not very high, only 50 rupee but others rides , Games are very costly.But rides are enjoyable for small babies not for big one. Good food not available there.I could not enjoy there. This place good for only small child. This place need to have update all of things.

My opinion about science city is that The best place all over kolkata for picnic, tourism, etc

Here are some expensive things which we have not seen in our daily life like approxiamate all type of fish, technology related new & expensive equipment, mind illusions equipment, ancient time biography and much more.

Entrance of science city starts with beautiful different colored and variety flower garden and the path for walk in between these bushes gave me pleasant experience.

And for entertainment many rides which includes cycling in hieghts, rope way bus which roam around the whole science park from almost 20 feet high. There are fish in the pool and the structure of science building is a globe . Inside the globe lots of science experiments that we can operate them and believe the amazing thrill, that we can't see in real life.

I advise u guys , children will be surprised by seeing this and it can trigger their innovative ideas that they can develop practical ideas.

I have been a frequent visitor to Science City right from my childhood days from when it was inaugurated. A huge tall dinosaur statue will welcome you at the entrance. As a child this statue used to attract me a lot . I have come here as a school excursion as a child and also with my family. Learning has never been so fun . Everywhere in this place we can learn new principles of physics, chemistry or biology in a interesting way.

We may take a ride at the toy train service provided by them to go around and explore the entire place. This itself will be a fun filled experience for everyone especially the kids.

The evolution park is one of the major attractions of this place. This is built with life size figurines and tablos. This shows us the evolution of man from the ancient pre historic state to the Homo sapiens we see today. Along with that we get to see a detailed view of the extinct dinosaurs and their various types , nature and behaviour characteristics. Along with these dinosaur there are also many other extinct species such as the Mamoth , Dodo, etc. There will also be an audio guide too on your way for telling you the details of what you are seeing. This will be a very good experience for everyone and children would just love it.

Next they have a huge hall named the Dynamotion Hall. This hall consists of different exhibits and interactive demos. Here we can learn different principles of science through games and enjoy. There are many to say but just a few examples are centrifugal merry go round to teach us the centrifugal force of earth, a piano which you could walk through and play, different chemicals and their smells can me experienced, a touch free game, etc. The best among are a Van De Graaff generator where you have to touch it when it is on and your hair starts rising and stands up because of the electicity which passes through your body. I just love seeing my long hair stand up and also to learn about it.

The greatest attraction of this park is its 3 D space theatre. It has got a planetarium like hall with 3D projectors which gives us a lively feel. They show movie or documentaries on various fields for example on Kolkata, Himalayas and trekkers, Dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park, phythons, blue whales, etc. All of them were just amazing and every one would just love it.

There are many other fun filled experiences too such as the time machine which is a 7D show. They have an exhibition on earth, other planets of the solar system and on space expeditions. The mirror magic where a hall is filled with mirrors and it forms a maze which is difficult to make your way out of.

Another speciality is the amazing aquarium with different species and a beautiful butterfly garden.

They have a huge well maintained park too for children to play around and explore. This park has a beautiful maze made with different flowers and bushes, a roller coaster and merry go rounds too. Moreover they park has demonstrated different demos on physics too amongst the games in the park. There are some nice food and juice stalls too to relish and satisfy your hunger.

Finally the rope way cable cars becomes another interesting suprise here. You may enter or leave the park on a rope way cable cars seeing the beauty of this place from top. I prefer leaving the park on a rope way cable cars and say good bye.

Hence there are lots of fun and entertainment here and I think everyone who visits Kolkata should visit this place.

Science city, Kolkata is a very beautiful place. I went there in march 2016.I have seen many things there and I also learnt about so many things from there. In science city they are so many things to enjoy like space theater, cable car, 3d theatre, dark ride etc. I personally enjoyed 3d theatre. They take 50 rupees for entry ticket for general visitors. For dark ride they charge 40 rupees per person. But they offer good discounts for school groups ( 20 rupees per person) . Science city remains open all days of the year except holi. From 09: 00am to 08: 00pm ticket counters remain open. So I recommend you you go there.

Kolkata is a old city of India. It was the main business place during the time of British. If one visit to Kolkata than one must be include Science City in his tour package. This is a very good place. All the things related to science is found here. We can watch here details about human revolution & how human are developed from ape to human after changing of time. Planetarium where one can easily know about solar system & about galaxy. Beautiful garden for mind relaxation. Rope ways for visiting all around it. One Gravity ground which is very good for entertainment. Science museum also inside it. One must have 2 to 3 hours in his hand for visiting this place. It is a very good place for both learning and mind relaxation.

I have visitef science city a couple of times.This place is awesome in one word.This campus covers a large area with science activity museums, dinasour jungles and many types of rides.Anyone can easily reach this place via public and private transport.I hqve gone through private car and the ride experience was very good.The garden area is very neat and clean.

Hey people I am Gaurav and want to share my experience about science city Kolkata. It's a big place and you need to 5 hours to set where whole place.

It's located near sonar Bangla hotel and has good assce of busses and cabs to reach their.

The space explains the laws of science with practice experiment that a common can easily understand.

Different rides will make you learn a thing about science and is very much fun. It practically shows you how science is in every thing we do.

Well, it is a place where you can bring your whole family and get involved with the ambience of knowing science. Kids can enjoy by seeing the prehistoric animals from Dianosaurs to Mammoth and so on.Also there is a place in there where you can get knowledge about solar system and marine life.Here is a decorated park where kids and family can enjoy their afternoon.There is a ropeway by which you can see the whole area, Which is a nice experience that you get to see.Well, It is not very costly area like Nicco park or Acuatica.It is a place where you can actually broaden your intellectual level to understand the science and life on earth.

Why do people visit amusement parks? to have fun obviously! but thats not the case when you are visiting the Science City in kolkata.

I had visited the place recently with my friends, we were expecting to have a blast since the last time we visited the place was when we were mere kids, but alas it didn't go the way we visioned it would.

For starters nothing changed, I mean literally nothing changed, they still have the same old stuffs they had over 10 years ago, everything is out of date, for instance the Time Machine ride still has that same old graphics it had back then in the 90s and to make things worse everything is overpriced. Most of the free rides are out of order and/or broken, which I found to be really disappointing. The place is utterly unclean, the toilets stink and the food court is just awful.

If you wish to know about science and everything just google it, don't waste your precious money on Science City, if you want to have fun then go to other amusement parks.
