One day with the mood to know more about Indian culture, heritage and dance forms, I visited this museum.
About the Museum
In this museum, I found varieties of Terracotta art in which the common earthen pot where our ancestors used to store drinking water and the big figures of the rural Tamil deities are positioned. In it, there are several forms of artifacts that testimony to the wide ancient traditions and practices of our country. From the imagination to conception, every idea behind those artifacts is brilliant and gets reflected from the looks itself.
In short, museum has presentation of various impressive Indian craftsmanship, indigenous heritage, cultural practices and aesthetic functionality.
What's Best?
Apart from having several sources of giving knowledge to the people about Indian Sanskriti, the museum has enough space, where several activities related creation of awareness amongst children, scholars, designers, students & artists and dissemination of information are organized.
How To Reach?
The museum is well connected with the road and if you someone wants to come via public transport then Ghitaroni metro station of yellow line is the nearest.
