Horrible experience. I had been to the hospital with my son on the 23rd of October 2018, we took an appointment, our files were made and we were sent to lounge B to wait for the optometry dept(room no: 11) to call us. We were not called as per the sequence and three or four token numbers after ours was called. When we enquired we were told that our file is not there with them, we went to the registration counter, they asked us to wait at lounge B as our files were there. We waited but were not called, on enquiring again, the lady at the registration counter came with me to the optometry and then realised the file was actually missing, A new file was made for the two of us. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as the tests were taken. I brought this to the notice of one of the senior staff there, who just smiled and I overheard her speaking to another colleague that he needs to teach his juniors how to do their work. After some tests, we were then asked to come on the 30th of October for further investigations and tests.
On the 30th, my son had to go for the optometry tests again, his name was called and he went for a test and then the eye pressure test. For the first test, he realised his reading were being written in a green file, but after the eye pressure test the readings were entered into a red file, he first thought they have changed the file, but then in a minute or so, he was called for the eye pressure test again, he said his test was done and the value 12/12 was written in the file, but they said no your readings are not written in the file(green), that is when my son realised his readings were recorded in somebody else's file, he told the optometrists about this goof up but they said "No problem". He then went for the next test(where distance reading test was done). He complained there about the goof up but their answer was "Its Ok ma". Can you imagine this callous attitude from a hospital staff. Its scary to realise that somebody was medically being treated with my son's eye pressure reading, and on being told about it they say "Its ok ma". My son kept insisting, then this lady called someone, spoke to him in Kannada and they laughed about this issue.
Later my son was sent for a eye scan and we were told to wait as the scan report and file would be sent to the cornea specialist. We waited for some time, can you believe it that when we enquired they said the file has not come and as it happened on 23rd this time the sister tells us that his file was misplaced. My son raised his voice about how a file can get misplaced between the scan dept and the doctor's room. We were called in by the doctor after some time, we have no clue if our file was located or not.
Wish the hospital administration looks into this method of working in their hospital, you are playing with the lives of so many people

- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
