Sango Shoe Shop, Bangalore

I am also the one who had been purchasing very frequently the shoes from Sango, Brigade Road and made some of my friends also to purchase it from the same as the quality was very good and I had purchased almost 7 pairs of shoes and 4 pairs of slippers there though the rate is costly the shoes were of good quality.

Believing this I had purchased one more pair of shoes in the annual sale on some festival occasion that was hush puppies. It was very good and since, I know this company for more than 5 years did not check how the shoes was and did not use also for some time and after 2 months thought of using it but some one of my colleague found some defect in it.

I got embarrassed from that and took directly to the shop but they said that they will send it to the company and get it done the repair but not replaced it with the new one saying the annual sale is closed and no more replacement and after 2-3 days they got it repaired the same not by sending it to the company by sending it to the local cobbler who had just tried to put the fevi quick.

But it did not work and I could not even find out whether they have done properly or what it was just framed in such a way that I will accept on seeing it in the next day I came to know how they tried to repair it and I did not think of going there to get it repair again and stopped purchasing from that shop from than on wards.

I had once purchased a pair of shoe from Sango shoe shop on Brigade Road-Bangalore, the next day I wore the pair to my office when I entered office i realised that the sole of the shoe was wroken into half, since my office is close to Brigade Road.

I walked down to the shop with the bill to get it replaced, first they said that there is no such system of replacing and they even refused to recognize the pair, after showing them the purchase bill one of the shop staff asked to me select a new pair of shoe within the same budget, thinking that they are going to replace and since I had to return to office and already convincing them to replace the broken pair took a lot of time, so in a hurry I settled for a pair which was much less a price then the previous pair I took and I walked out of the shop, after walking down a good distance a guy came running after me and asked me to go back to the shop, in the shop they asked me to pay for the new pair which I took.

I refused to pay the amount as it was a replacement, but their rude behaviour got into my nerves and I asked for their owner, who was a lady sitting at the counter, I explained the whole matter to her, and after hearing everything she said that she cant do anything, and that i have to pay for the new pair, she was also taking names of branded shoe shops and was saying that even they dont replace broken shoes, I am a regular customer to some of the names she took like Metro and Bata, i once faced similar problem with Bata but without any second question they replaced the broken pair. Then I realised that talking to them is a total waste of time, so ultimately I paid for the new pair of shoe I took, and said good bye to them forever.

The reason I am writing this review is because I dont want any of you to go through the same problem I faced, as it is we have lots of tension in day to day life, it is always better if we can avoid some.
