Samsung WA62H4000HD 6.2 kg Fully Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine

Based upon reviews by other members I bought Samsung 6.2 Kg fully automatic washing machine. Previous I had TVS 5 Kg fully automatic machine. Before buying I had check the prices at VGP and Croma in Matunga, Bombay. I found Croma price less than VGP and sales girl was well versed with the product. I was told by Croma sales girl that,

1) I could get Rs. 1, 000 for trading in old machine

2) 5% discount on HSBC credit card

Since my purchase time was around Gudi Padwa, I asked her for any special deal on Gudi Padwa. She asked for my telephone number and promised me that she will call as soon as she would know. No telephone call. I called her and she told me that there is a free gift of hand mixer of Croma brand. Value around Rs. 2, 000. For this I need to buy it on Gudi Padwa day. I rechecked with her on trade-in as well as 5% discount. She confirmed that both are available. When I went to buy with additional input that trade-in value is larger than Rs. 1, 000, I was offered Rs. 1, 250 for trade-in. But 5% discount on HSBC had expired two days ago. After talking to the manager, he offered me additional 5% discount. I paid the money and was told that the machine will be delivered along with my machine. The delivery time was fixed for morning 10 to evening 5 pm.

Till 6 pm no delivery. When I inquired with Croma, I was told that delivery van is on its way and will be delivered today. I asked for cell number of delivery van. No number. Eventually it got delivered at 7 pm and that too without free gift of hand mixer. I was told to stop by at the store along with the warranty card of the machine and collect the gift as well as get the card stamped for warranty.

After installation of the machine I went to the store and got the gift and stamped the warranty. However, there was note able difference in sales girl before and after sale. As far as washing machine and Samsung is concerned, I am happy with both.

It's not about product, it's about service. Although, product also not very excellent. My washing machine is staining the clothes and I am following customer care for the last 15 - 20 days and they are not even bothering. Every time you call them they would say support engineer will call you in 1 -2 Hr or within 1 day but you will never get a call. You call them again and they will put the same excuse again and if you would say you want to talk to their senior manager they would keep you on hold then they will put same excuse again saying they are in meeting.

I am not sure when I shall get the things done, but I thought I should make others inform that they should never get a SAMSUNG product because once it's down you will just pull your hair about your decision of buying SAMSUNG.

I have purchased Samsung Washing machine front loading 5.5Kg WF8550NHS from TMC hyderabad. After 4 months of use it started leaking water from bottom. I have called SAMSUNG authorized service center " Vinayaka Service Center" from Kukatpalli. Service engineer checked the machine and confirmed scrow was broken. Vinayaka taken to service center after 10 days of follow-up, they have returned the equipment by charging Rs550. Even the persons delivered the equipment not even verified whether the problem is fixed or not. Just simply they dropped the equipment and rushed to pick up some other equipment.

After connecting the equipment, confirmed the original problem is not fixed at all. Land up in paying 550 for not doing any service. I have called up Vinayaka service center they response is very wage and especially the back end office is asking to give more respect for not doing any thing. I have called up Hyderabad franchise officer, even after that the response is zero.

Summary: Please do not go for Samsung washing machine, the post sale customer support is very horrible. And the quality of the product is zero and during spin it makes lot of noise, the washing machine moves from one place to other area. Now I have decided not to buy any SAMSUNG products. This review is to help new buyers to take wise call before buying costly home product. I have called up customer call center to speak to any escalation manager regarding this but no use. There is no provision at all.

I purchased this washing machine during Nov 2009 from Hyderabad.

All functions are very easy. It helps to me and my family for better cleaning.

Service providers of Samsung Company always ready to come at home and give service. I am very happy of service of this machine and also service providers of Samsung Company.

Company is requested to develop the system for better collar wash in future edition. The Samsung WA 82V4G washing machine is very fine designed by the company Engineers. It serves as a friend in the family. It functions like start and forget everything is very fine.

We had decided to replace our old automatic wasing maching [ BPL ABS 4.5 kg] as it had served us faithfully for 10 years and now has started developing problems. We only wanted a top leading machine with good user driven features. We wanted a minimum of 6 kgs capacity.

We finally zeroed on Samsung WA82V5G which has a 6.2 kgs capacity. The width of the machine is 540 mm and the depth is 560 mm making it pretty sleek for a machine of its capacity. The modes are briiliant and convienient to use.

It has a transparent lid and a load sensor. The air drier is a good option if you want you clothes to be extra dry. The lint filter is also very effective and easy to clean.

It has various modes and wash options. The washing maching comes with the normal PVC drum and the stainless steel drum option.

We purchased our washing machine from Vijay Sales, Borivali, whose saleaman did a brilliant job expaining the various options we had while choosing our wahing machine.

We have been using this washing machine for over 3 months and must say that we are very happy with what we bought.

The washing maching cost us a net Rs 9900/- in exchange for our old wasing machine.

Stongly reccommending this machine for people who want value for money.

We purchased Samsung washing machine after reviewing so many companies on this website and we are quite satisfied with our choice. This product of Samsung is nice as well as very easy to use. It is durable in all ways. Takes less time, cleans the clothes more and never make damages to delicate clothes. The design of the machine is very new and draws attention of guests at our home.

The size of the machine is compact, so that we can keep it in a small space also, no need of bigger or sufficient space. The service and support from Samsung is also okay till date.

This is my 1st washing machine. I bought this on December 14, 2009 from Viveks, Koramangala, Bangalore.

Model -WA82VSLEC

6.2kg

Fully auto – Top load

Steel tub – Diamond drum

Warranty: 2 yrs

Before fixing my mind on Samsung, I visited Croma, Unilet – BTM & Koramangala and Samsung Plaza – Koramangala; and websites including MS.

Let me tell briefly on the outlets’ experience. Croma – the sales executives showed interest and explains on different models to help you decide.

Unilet – I feel the price is not standard & correct. Even the Manager seems fishy to me.(Though EMI was available).

Samsung Plaza – the model was out of stock. The executives were lazy; watching TV.!

Viveks – the price was Rs.150 lower than Croma and they have extended warranty of 1 year for Rs.500(this is expensive in Croma). Even in Viveks they reduced the price when I said Unilet can give me same model for less! But I did not find so enthusiasm in sales executives compared to in Croma.

I paid in the afternoon and got delivered at around 9 pm same day. Next day morning I called Samsung customer care for installation; and I got call from the engineer within 3 hrs! I needed extra inlet pipe which I had to pay. He asked Rs.400 for 2 mtrs, but I gave Rs.350 which he agreed! I bought stand and a cover from Samsung Plaza for Rs.1000(though he asked Rs.1100)

I was eager to see the working, so started the washer in the night after office and dinner. I was impressed by the low noise even at spin; as it was close to midnight and TV was on mute; rinse and spin was smooth. Cleaning was just OK. I guess I have to buy a good detergent and used less powder in my wash. Spin-drying was very impressive!

I felt the machine is user-friendly. The LED display is big enough. Samsung claims Ag+ feature to keep the clothes germ & odour free. It has also got programs for Saari, delicates and blanket. Quick wash claims to take 28 min. I will try it later to test its cleaning effect. Now I have to see its performance level in tough stains and full load.

Please Note - on delivey please ask the person not to carry the machine on his back(mentioned on the pack). It happened in my case.

We purchased  WA 82V4G, fully automatic model of samsung washing machines an year ago. It has never given us any problem all these days.Its so easy to use and maintain that I never had to worry about the laundary. I guess that says it all that am satisfied with its performance.

FEATURES:

Its a top loading machine with a capacity of 6.2 kg. Its quite interesting to watch the cloths turn up and down through the transparent fibre glass lid of the machine. There is a box to dispense the detergent and the  water flows into the plastic drum through this dispenser. There is another box which collects the dirt and can be removed easily to clean after  every wash [first time I  washed the blankets it was like . oh my god! were these so dirty]. The water inlet and the drain [outlet] tubes once fixed can be totally forgotten.

There are washing options like quick, blanket, delicate, fuzzy and so on each having its time set automatically. we can also operate it  manually and choose the durations for washing as we wish.

There  is one favourite button in this and aptly named "FAVOURITE" which memorises the instructions set in the last washing and all you have to do is to just press POWER, FAVOURITE, and START. [ quite usefull]

All I can say is We hesitated and confused a lot before buying the machine but are happy We made a right choice .

I buied this machin for 12K Exact delevered .I like the shape and design, Especially the keyboard.Machine is actully very small, fits in any corner only Water supply and drain is required.

LED indicator for remaining time is very usefull.Water supply pipes supplied with machine quality is very good. Proper fixing of tab requires.Top door excelent.

I dont think silver nano is actually doing any difference with washing, only rince and soak again. but still I think clothes gets some smell, how?  i dont know.

Its water selection is very good. I tried with different clothes and it selects low, mid and heavy automatically, but I think water level for low selection is still more.Some additions required.

I bought Samsung washing machine R 1043 about 1.5 year before. washing performance is quite good, however bit noisy while spinning. The problems started once its door is broken. Hardly within 2 years, imagine its door hook is broken! which means the quality of materials used for the production of washing machine is poor.

Further, when I contacted Justdial.com to get service numbers for Samsung washing machine, they connected one NANO SERVICE based in Mathikere Bangalore. Those frauds came and told they would come next day with new door, taking washing machine front door set and Rs 250 from us. Every day for the past 2 weeks I call them and ask for atleast the door set to be returned, they never come back, big frauds

Adding to this mayhem, when I contacted Samsung India(got phone numbers from website), they provided with few numbers, believe that is never picked up. I will never advise for Samsung products for my dear&near ones:(

After months of going through various brands like Whirlpool and LG, finally we zeroed in this model of Samsung. The WA82VSLEC 6.2 Kg fully automatic. We got this from the Samsung Plaza which is near Porur Circle, Chennai.

The staff there were very friendly and delivered the product to our home in 3 hrs flat. We paid 11.8 K for the machine and they also insisted on buying a steel stand which is 750 Rs which we eventually bought it. But they stumped us by levying a VAT for 1200 Rs. It all came to 13.7 K totally. As a goodwill gesture they gave us a Bajaj Ironbox worth Rs 500 free.

After delivering the product, the delivery guys were smiling at me patiently. Understanding them I gave them 40 Rs. Immediately they left the place. 2 days later I got a call from Samsung Technicians about the demo, they promptly came to our home and explained to us everything in detail.

This particular model from Samsung comes with Silvernano Technology, Double Storm pulsator and has an effective 5-step super clean system. The easy-to-use control panel is both efficient and simple to use. For 13.7 K this model is a steal.

My final verdict is go for it .

Well, I had recently been to UK and saw how important Dryers are these days. Hence, made up my mind to buy a Washine Machine as well as dryer to dry clothers to avoid hassles of climbing stairs and putting clothes to dry. I found 2 companies offering Wash and Dry combo ie LG and Samsung.

And I opted for Samsung cause it was slightly cheaper than LG then. This washing machine has been superbly working since then. It has AG+ technology which uses Ions to kill bacteria. Now all what I need to do is put my clothes (around 12 clothes in a single wash on a 6.5kg machine) and take them out completely dry and clean.

It has a lot of features to offer eg. you can set temperature, no. of rinses you want, spin speed upto 1200rpm. another good feature is that you can pause a wash cycle and add or remove clothes amidst a wash cycle. Drying your clothes is an option if disabled you would need to dry your clothes after spin. After Spin clothes are around 60% dry. A wash cycle(20 mins presoak, wash at 60degree, 3 rinse, spin + 90 mins dry) takes close to 3 hours for me. A concern for me was the electricity bill which surprisingly hasnt been much of a difference.

A con which I could think of is that the clothes develop wrinkles after wash. there is a less ironing mode present in the machine if used the wrinkles are comparatively lesser. Overall, I am very happy with the buy since it has made my life much easier now.

I was having IFB executive plus for 8 years. after having repeated repairs, decided to buy a new one. my cousin told me to buy this top loader.

I hesitated to change to top loader from front loader. he told now a days top loaders are not inferier in performance, and recommended to buy samsung WA82V4G. I BOUGHT FROM VENUS ELECTRONICS THENI for 10000 rupees, that is almost the half of the cost of one front loader. to my surprice it washes far more better than my old IFB.

User friendly, economy, faster, and better wash. I recommend strongly to u friends... I found front loaders are old story. save ur hard earned money by buying top loaders. I bought this machine from Vijay Sales (Santacruz) . The problem with them is that they deliver the same display model to the users . I received the machine in scratch condition on the lid which is negligible at first view but carefully observed can be noticed.

However the machine works fine. Despite many compliants lauched vijay sales has not responded to this. call to thier branch they assure a person would visit but no one really turns up. Regarding samsung demo etc execellent no problems there.Vijay sales does not give you an option to pay after delivery all 100% advance is they require to play this game.

SAMSUNG washing machine with product code WMWA 88 TPK fully auto PAO 1201 was purchased by me on 02.03.2008. at NEXT RETAIL SHOP Vijayawada , krishna dt/. A.p. India .We are only 4 members in our family. The usage is very minimal. we use it with utmost care.

In spite of that it is failed on 21.02.09.A complaint registered with customere care . Got a complaint number as aknowledgement 8407307082. Same day a mechanic came and said some part is to be changed which was not available in Vijayawada, so that it takes 4 to 5 days to get it and repair it. To day the date is 03.03.2009. Almost 10 days gone waiting for the mechanic. No body came. At least there is no followup communication about how long it takes to get it repaired. This is the status of service I got it from SAMSUNG.

While purchasing this product I asked the shop staff about the service rendered by this company. They told it is available in local i.e., in Vijayawada itself and promissed best and prompt service after sales compared to other products in which they are dealing in their shop. The mechanic told the part which is supposed to replace is not available in Vijayawada and should get it from somewhere else. For your information , I asked him why a city which is populated more than 10 laks i.e., Vijayawada could not be arranged spare parts by the commpany for servicing the machines after sales. No reply from the servicing person.

My dear citizens, beware of the companies which are not rendering proper service to the customers after sales. And I request u to send me is there any other go to come out of this problem. Do anybody help and give me the mail id of an ambudsman to appeal against this irregular practice of our SAMSUNG company service?

This particular model WA82V5G washing M/c is good so far. This WM I purchased at reasonably good price and it has got all important features except for steel drum.

It is very user freindly as you can go for extra drying( spinning ) if required upto 30 minutes, set the timer for extra soaking, set the timer for delayed start, child lock facility, water level monitor and more importantly it is very light in weight and you can shift the m/c conveiniently at your wish. You can also go for indivisiual washing menu like only washing, only rinsing, only spinning, Etc...

The m/c got installed the same day I purchased the M/C ( infact samsung service engineer kept calling me before the arrival of M/.c to my home from showroom). We got the demo did by samsung service enginner and he was polite enough to ask us about any extra fittings we require for our convenient use of the M/C.

The one good and important advantage I found in top loading WM compared with Front loading is that the time required for one complete cycle of wash is 49 mins where as in front load it is 2 hours.

I bought this Samsung fully automatic washing machine - WA82V5G - on 1st October this year and I must say its performance has been true to my expectations. This is one of the new models from Samsung in the 6.2 kg range, and has all the features as that of the highly publicised Silver Nano washing machines except for the Silver Nano feature.

It has a stainless steel tub with a surface that is not plain but small diamond shaped depressions within which the holes are present. This has been claimed by the company to enable the machine to be soft on the clothes during spinning and this will not result in the fabric becoming coarse or losing threads that is generally found after washing. In the last 2 months, we did not find any deterioration of the washed clothes.

It has all the latest features that I found in comparable models from other brands like LG, Whirlpool, Haier etc., like delay start, various wash programs, selection of individual Washing activities(Soak, Wash, Rinse, Spin), child lock and Favourites option(storing the favourite wash program and activities). In addition, it has some new features that I did not find in other models like Turbo drying and Clean tub and Filter Clean alert. Turbo drying gives an option of 15 or 30 min drying of clothes after Spinning when the machine sucks air from outside and passes it over the clothes moving in the spinning drum. This removes more water from the clothes after washing.

With the Clean Tub feature, the machine cleans the tub itself using water and some detergent. Whenever the filter is completely clogged, there is an alert on the panel which indicates the same. Also, one important feature is that the machine selects its own water level(High, Medium, Low) based on the weight of the clothes put in the tub. Other useful features are that in case of power failure the machine starts on its own from the point where it had last stopped after the power is restored. This is very important feature in today's power shortage environment.

I think, overall, this model is Value for Money, considering that the price of Rs 11500(after some dealer discount) is less by atleast Rs 1000 than models from other brands with comparable features like those of LG, Whirlpool or Haier.

After being accustomed to Semi-Automatic Washing machine for years, our family really suffered from a kind of phobia towards thinking about a change to a Fully-Automatic Washing machine. Some how we kept on servicing our old Semi-Automatic washing machine for near to two years after using it for more than 8 years. The day has come and we decided to move on for a new washing machine and short listed many semi-automatic washing machine and fully automatic washing machines.

The decision was made later to go on for a Fully-Automatic washing machine. We shortlisted, IFB, LG, Samsung & Videocon. From this again we drilled down with few factors like Price and Prior Users Verdict. Now LG & Samsung was left out with us. After much consideration on pricing and the technological facilites we went in for Samsung.We didn't have any issues with Samsung as well as LG Service, as we have one Samsung A/C & one LG A/c @ our home and we were quiet sure about their service.

Demo from the company; like for years it has not improved. Almost this might have been faced by many of MS users and other consumers. After Buying a product, installation and demo will be either done by themselves or by paying a nearby technological guy. Demo guys come after couple of days.The washing machine's body could have been made more sturdy. Drawing water from pump is determined by a Fuzzy logic built in to the Washing machine and we don't have any control over that if it's been kept in Fuzzy Logic Mode. For a desecent amount of cloth the minimum washing time is near to 1 Hour. In this 1 Hour it fills the tub twice: Wash, Rinse.The collar and corner dirts are removed to satisfaction, however, we cannot grade that as excellent. Overall it pulls out the dirt properly. And dries the cloth well too.

*AG+

There is a mode called "Silver Wash", wherein Odour & Germs removal is done. This is quite a revolution in washing mahine, but still I haven't tested the germs level in the cloth after using this. Of course it removes the odour very well. What the company claims for AG+ is:

STAGE 1 - Electrolysis and formation of silver ions

STAGE 2 - Permeation of silver ions into fabric during wash and rinse cycles

STAGE 3- 99.9999% reduction of bacteria in fabric and protection from bacteria growth for up to one month.

*Air Turbo

This facility is really good, it gives you the cloth with **almost dried condition, just Iron the cloth and wear it. Very useful for rainy seasons. But, the time taken is bit high to do this. There is a Child Lock facility too, but I have never used this. At the end of the washing process, we will be intimated by a music by the washing machine. It's more than 5 months, I haven't faced any problems. Overall I am very much satisfied with the Washing Machine.

I own a samsuns P1053 which is just two years and 3 months old. It had some problem with the tub and I was told it will cost 4500. I agreed to repair it finally after 10 days without any response from them when I called back I was told that the part will cost 6500. Then again without a choice I agreed to get it done then I was told the technician is not available as there is only 1 person to repair all machines in pune.again after a week when I contacted the senior service incharge and told him everything , he said he needed to look into the matter.

For him to look into the matter he took another 6 days. And said that the part which has come is not complete and will now take another 15 days to get it .after a lot of argument with him he promised me to solve my problem but there is no news from him. I am now without an operational machine since past 3 months. Please no one go in for a samsung it is pathetic. These people should just shut the company if they cant give service.

I have purchased Samsung  Fully Automatic Washing Machine WA88VPMEH on 13/07/2008 from Vijay Sales Ghodbunder Road Thane.

They have promised 2 years warranty but forget 2 years before even completing 2 months period product have started giving us problem, So we called Call center and registered our complaint following which a Person Name Yash visited our Place and promised to replace Electrical Circuit (as he was of opnion that electric current isn't passing the motor)  in next 2 days , its been now 3 weeks there have been no response from service center end inspite of follow up through email and calling Vijay sales and even to call center.

Contact number of Local samsung service center is(022) 25383636 and (022) 25383737 , but sadly no one answer on this number.

The only excuse what they give is their parts come from Delhi so it takes time in transit but 3 weeks and almost a month you can say is horrifying ( since clothes are piling up and we don't have laundry nearby) But the fact remains that if they are planning to target Mumbai consumers and wish to achieve high turnover than its not possible without proper after sales service and there should be bufer stock of crucial components like electrical circuit, motor etc

Sadly Samsung service is Pathetic for all products and they have failed to realise a product sold is half Sales. Friends I would like to advice you , if you are planning to take samsung product beware because though they promise 2 years warranty (more than what other products offer) but they don't comply with it.
