Wa Wa woom, that's what this phone's autofolder is all about. You press a button and the phone opens up, press it again, the phone closes. But alas, this is the only worthwhile feature in this phone. Otherwise it is a standard phone, it does not have GPRS, neither does it have MMS. The infra-red connectivity works only with other Samsung phones. I have tried it with Nokia, Sony-Erricon and Motorola and found that the infra-red port is not compatible with other brands.

The User Interface is also very slow. It takes a while to scroll through the call list. You cannot send anything via the infra-red port. It can only receive data.

Overall, if you want to impress others with the auto-folder phone and are happy with a basic color GSM Dual Band cell-phone and Oh have lots of money then it is for you. I don't think it is available any more now. You might get second had though. When I had bought it 2 years i.e. (Octo 2003), it was selling for Rs. 23000 appx. But the autofolder feature is worth the money, even the salesman who was showing me the phone did not know about it and was impressed (his eyes literally came out) when I showed him the auto-folder feature.
