Hey, so we were looking for a washing machine with integrated heater dryer, and went and picked up this Samsung WD80J6410 washing machine with integrated heater dryer from Chroma store in bangalore(invoice number - SLF02A058010169960, time: 18-01-2017 8:52pm). It worked wonderful for 2 months, then the heater dryer just stopped functioning. We got in touch with service team(service request nos 4237491734), nobody turned up, then a second request(service request number 4238594056) and one Mr.Manjunath was assigned, then again nothing happened, a third request(no.4238736224), and after many calls the service team came and picked up the washing machine and left. Pictures attached(Note: NO locks for the drum in place, this is necessary when the washing machine is transported, to prevent damage to the drum, all new washing machines come with the drum locks which is removed before use)
Machine came back, its been a total of almost 2 months from the time the machine wasnt functioning to the time it was supposedly fixed and returned, the machine was working fine. for a few weeks more, and problem stuck again - heater dryer not functioning. Called the service centre(no. 4241961112), nothing happened, then again(no.4242583123) and again a certain manjunath assigned, called him and kept saying he will come. Still nothing and now the machine is defunct for over 4 weeks, finally went to croma itself and registered another complaint last sunday(6th of august 2017), and followed up with them, eventually managed to get the service engineer to come over and fix it.
There are tons of cheaper options of washing machines out there, the whole purpose of going for this relatively expensive version with integrated heater dryer was lost, in the 7 months we have had this, its been non functional for 3, and while we have been fans of samsung products, this experience just kills it, their service support is painfully slow with no firm solution.
