Good performance but getting a bad sound

Though this microwave is performing well but I am getting a very bad sound after 3 months of usage. It was under warranty period. When we called them for their support the person who came from the company just cleaned it and told me that it will be ok.


After 2 to 3 days again I am getting the same sound. But as it is not hampering its performance it is ok with me.

I have an old Samsung microwave CE 8454  purchased in 1998. It is still working. About three months ago, it just stopped working. When I complained, the service engineer came and changed the fuse. I had to pay Rs 280 (250 for service plus 12.36 % service tax. This was on 6/9/2014.


Last week the same thing happened. Another  service engineer came and did the same thing. This time I had to pay Rs. 281. When I told him that service charges should not be  charged for the same complaint within three months, he said no there is no such rule. The three month rule is only for parts. It means, if the fuse blows every week or even every day, I will have to pay Rs 281 for each visit.. The name of the service centre is Durga Electronic Services, M-3, Old DLF Colony, Gurgaon.


I would like to add that the voltage here is stable. We have an IFB microwave that works perfectly well. Also the  refrigerators, ACs etc have no problem. I asked the mechanic to measure the voltage. It was 230 volts.


I suspect that the service engineers deliberately put sub standard fuses so that these go out frequently. I have been living in the same house for over ten years and the microwave did not have any problem until now. Also, the practice of charging service charges every time for the same fault occurring even after a few  days amounts to an unfair practice. I intend taking Samsung to the Consumer Court o this issue.

Unfortunately I bought microwave - Samsung model no, CE 945 G, It went under breakdown on 7/8/2014, ever since I am  following up with the service center and the standard answer is -part not available( MANY EMAILS, SMS AND TELEPHONIC DISCUSSION HAVE TAKEN PLACE


I am asking following, no body is able to answer it


1- when the part shall be made available


2- if not what is the predicted life of your product-please mention on the product itself


3- or clearly mention on the product - company does not take a guarantee to provide spare parts after(x) number of years, whether the model is in market or not


NOT satisfied with the approach of the company, service being provide and ultimately on the reliability of the product .my complaint number is .8467148289, dt 7.8.14

Purchased microwave from croma online. equipment delivered the next day but unfortunately had a 16 Amp plug vs my kitchen has 12 Amp sockets only. There was no description on website that this has a 16 Amp plug


Contacted the customer support and was told this was a "change of mind" and hence product non returnable while i was fine with another replacement that had a 12 Amp socket!


Even an email took 24 hrs to be responded to and after 6 days today there is no resolution. The representatives on phone are totally ineffective and hang up after putting on indefinite hold


Would not recommend Croma Retail to anyone!

You can't miss to notice on the display that it has 5 years warranty but in fact it has only 1 year warranty on the actual product. Ours is very sparingly used so much I consider it as brand new, but still it failed in 14 months. The unit by itself started heating up its grill element and is getting very hot and is about to burnout every thing and as we notice some burning smell we noticed and removed the power socket. Any thing can happen if this thing happened during night time.


The service guy visited us and says it's PCB board is failed and it costs Rs 2000 to get replacement. I understand from the conversation with him, this kind of failure is common for these ovens. Later when I spoke to customer support, the guy says it can fail if the usage is too low, what a excuse.


I will not recommend this product.

We bought the microwave oven with a fond hope of making a cake for our daughters 3rd birthday only to discover that in the convection mode it consumed so much electricity that it blew a 40A fuse.


We baked the cake in our neighbors oven.


Next we called the service agent who told us that the product was defective and also said would recommend for a complete replacement.


1 week later we were still struggling with customer service agent.


Then we tried to use the Microwave friendly containers provided by Samsung along with the oven. See the attached picture for the results.


We wanted to cook greens and we kept the container in the oven for 6 minutes. The greens remained uncooked but the container melted.


Stay away. We are wondering what to do with the oven...


Rex Refrigerator Service= "Big Fraud"

And this is to alert all those who are seeking refrigerator repair service form small time service centers like this "rex refrigerator and washing machine services" this is run by a guy called "Prabhakar" and he is such a fraud that he charged me rs 2, 450/- and said that he replaced 2 relays and 1 thermostat in my refrigerator and did not produce any bill. he said its gonna work fine now. But to my surprise it stopped working after just "1 day".


then when i called him he said he would come and attend to it the next day.its been more than a week, I've been calling him but he either cuts my call or doesn't receive it.


I lost my money to this thug. I even thought of registering a complaint with the nearest police station and i'm just thinking to do so. Please don't ever seek this guy's service. He's a fraud.


Kindly go to the authorised service center only and not fake guys like these....this is my humble advice.

Don't buy samsung microwave model ce117pf-b recently i had purchased one high end samsung convection microwave owen (purchase date 27/12/2012)


And within a month of light usage the front panel has gone defective.it took three days for the service engineer to attend the problem after reporting the complaint and till date ie after three weeks they had not replaced the panel nor they had made any call about the likely date of rectification.samsung customer support is third rate and unresponsive .so never ever buy any samsung product and particularly the microwav

Samsung is spending nice and heavy money on advertising and marketing campaign. I bought this microwave and just after one year its touch membrane became faulty.


Then after 3-4 months it stopped working. Service man told that magnate which is main part of any microwave is become faulty. This product is not worth your money.

I had purchased best Microwave available with Samsung after using Whirlpool Microwave for 3 years. In 3 years I never had any single complain to Whirlpool. In Just 8 months I had put up 4 complains and they are changing parts of microwave in every visit.


Now when I ask for replacement they are having step behavior with me. I had paid Rs7000 for Whirlpool and Rs16000 for Samsung one. Smasung people also said that do not go to consumer court otherwise you will be wasting your time. In whole story we are suffering and there is no effect on Samsung people.

I bought the microwave oven from Tata Croma. It worked for a year until the warranty period was exhausted and then it broke. The -SE- error came up on the button-panel and now it is useless. I have to check with the Samsung service center to understand what went wrong and how much it will cost to repair it.


CE107MDF-S is not a reliable model.

The product which I had purchased 5 years back was working very well till recently the it is not fuctioning. When we called the Samsung service centre there representative who came and tested said that the mother board of the proct has been damaged and needs replacement. But today it was informed that the Mother board is not avialble and we canot not replace it.

Samsung company is not bothered about customers. They manufacture new product and changes the components and model after some time. What happens with 2 years back manufactured products.


no responsibility for their products and service technicians. Changing product again and again and not giving support to customers. They give franchisee to poor knowledgeable persons not efficient.


They try to fool the customers.

I have purchased Samsung c100F in Jan 2003. Now it is not work. After lodging the complain, and seeing the model, it has been informed that the PCB for the same is not available with the company. This unit is now unserviceable.


SO due to a PCB of worth Rs 1000/- oven costing 13000/- is waste. It has also been informed that U will get 1000/- as replacement for this oven. Such a mockery I have never faced earlier. Due to a PCB , a product worth 13000/- will be of 1000/-. Really it is very pathetic. Now I dont know to whom should I contact. If the service support is not available after just seven years, what is the fun of publishing wrongly to fool the customers.

Just 3 days back ia happen to see the demo by the samsung representative for their product microwave oven. it was pathetic. He called and came without any information and just unpack the product and done nothing but told the lady available at the home that go through the manual and you will come to know everything automatically. Now they are using the product with trial and error method. If this the really way of giving the demo then there is no use of such demo rather I say no use of such product.

I made the worst mistake when I chose the Samsung C100F Microwave Oven. When I purchased it they told me that Samsung is the best in after sales service. But now I know that it is all a hype. I have had a problem with my microwave which has not been corrected even after nearly two months after lodging a complaint. Every time you complain they listen to you as though it is the first time and ask you the very same questions over and over again. I have taken the trouble to write to them. That also yielded the very same response. They are not bothered about rectifying any complaints. At the end of the day I am stuck with a microwave oven that is not functioning properly. All that they are interested in is just advertising and selling more of their products. I only hope that none of you make the same mistake as me.
