Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the Genuine colleges in the university of Delhi. It is famous for its commerce courses and highly active placement cell. Being a student of B.com student I must say that faculty of our department is really good and very helpful. but usually. The infrastructure is world class as most of the colleges in du, the classrooms are huge and well maintained, also it has sports like cricket, football, volleyball, lawn tennis and basketball which are well maintained. The percentage of students placement vary from year to year but last year highest package was around 15 lakhs per annum which is quite appreciated. The campus environment is quite peacefulland With good vibes.

My interaction with seniors was really good, I found them supportive. As a student i’m satisfied with the college and it is the worth the fees you pay, which is also not too high.

I have been a student of this college for a year and then I dropped out . So the classes are not built that good, The furniture which is there not good at all . the faculties are not much into teaching .They just used to give us assignments and tell us that you can just read this page and all and then you can get marks easily . To be honest I didn't like that college . I mean they just don't focus on student's performance . Nothing much to say now.

Nice college with excellent staff. College has great placement opportunity too.

College is affiliated to Delhi University and enjoys a good brand name in India.

Its BMS course is excellent which requires entrance for admission, which is good step, in my opinion.

I would suggest to visit the college once to check accessibility from your location.

Placements: The commerce course placements are really good in the college. It is one of the best colleges regarding commerce placements. The college has a great placement cell, and the placement for arts courses is not much though. In terms of commerce jobs, many good companies come to the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The college has a big campus with good sports facilities, and the ground has a basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball court, the sports room has table tennis tables. The college has a big library which is one of the best in DU. The canteen is not much great, though the variety is less, quality is decent.

It is the college where bhuvan bam studied very nice and wonderful college homely environment we can find greenparks lawns and many other extra curricular activities like singing dancing playing guitar and other many societies. This college you can find many things other than Rote learning. This is the one of the top college in India.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the reputed colleges in the university of Delhi. It is famous for its commerce courses and highly active placement cell. Being a student of B.A.( H) Political Science I must say that faculty of our department is really good but usually it is overshadowed due to the popularity of the commerce department. The infrastructure is average as most of the colleges in du, the classrooms are spacious and well lit, other than this in sports it has cricket, football, volleyball, lawn tennis and basketball which are not well maintained. The percentage of students placed vary from year to year but last year highest package was around 13 lakhs per annum which is quite appreciable. The environment is quite peaceful free from ragging and all.

I am presently a student of shaheed bhagat singh college and let me tell you one thing this college is one of the best college in university of delhi. it has two shift one morning and one evening. the morning shift's commerce facility is very popular while in the evening shift geography faculty is considered as one of the best in the university of delhi. This college is good for all round development of a student be it studies, sports, dance , drama, music , arts. it is located in sheikh sarai phase 2 saket new delhi. The college campus clean and free wifi is available . teaching staff and other staff are well educated, good and supportive. if you are looking to get admission here you are welcome as we live like a family.

I have heard many great news about this college, that this is one the best colleges of Delhi.

I want my brother's admission in some good college but I didn't get a good one, so my teachers suggested me to check this college.

The college is really a very prestigious college in India and I clear all queries from this college.

The college has many facilities such as:

1) There is everytime availability of the the professors and lecturers.

2) The infrastructure of the college is also very good.

3) It is also centrally located.

4) for the physical and mental development of the students many extracurricular activities

And not only this but the administration of the college is so rule based that no one in college will be found in breaking rules.

Many of the north campus colleges as well. It has the third best department of geography in DU, after Kirori Mal and Miranda House. The faculty is very experienced and helpful. But what's interesting is that even though the academics here is remarkably good it does not burden you with study pressure. The pressure on students is minimal. There are assignments to be submitted, presentations and timely tests to be given, but it is planned out in a way that suits the requirements of the students. The teachers here know when to be greet students with a warm welcome and when to be firm and stern. Also, one of the major positive aspects is there is no issue of attendance, as such, university norms being a minimum of 66.6% in all lectures. So, it acts in favour of students taking up other part time courses such as CA, CS, ICWA, CIMA, etc. Also for students taking MBA coachings or doing internships.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College ( SBSC) is a co-educational institute which was established in 1967. It is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college is named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh, an Indian freedom fighter who believed strongly in social justice.[citation needed]

The college was ranked at number 17 for the best Commerce colleges in India in 2012 as per India Today Survey group and at number 9 in Delhi's best commerce colleges in 2015. University Express ranked it at number 5 among all the Delhi university colleges, giving its faculty a full 10/10 score.[1] The college offers both Graduate Degrees and Postgraduate Degrees. At the undergraduate level it offers 3 Year degrees in Commerce, English, Economics, Hindi, History, Geography, Political Science and Mathematics. At the postgraduate level it offers an M.Com degree. Dr. PK Khurana is the Principal/OSD of the college and Mr. Arun Kumar Attree is the Public Information Officer ( PIO) of the college under RTI Act 2005. The college was rocked by fake admissions scam in 2014 when the Chief coordinator of the Admissions, Arun Kumar Attree caught the impersonation and fake certificate cases and exposed the fake admission racket existing in the college. The college is appreciated for being the first college in University to investigate the matter and taking immediate action by cancelling admission of 36 students of year 2013-14 and 2012-13. Consequently the college made the admission procedure very stringent since 2014-15.[citation needed]

Dear friends, my personal experience in the form of review about saheed bhagat Singh College, Delhi.

I visited this college with my friend for his brother’s admission. The staffs in the college are very polite and cooperative. They are always ready to answer to your queries regarding anything.

There are many things I like about this college. This college was ranked 17th for the best commerce college in India. The discipline and legal committee of the college is very active and strict. This is proved by the action taken by the committee in wake of fake admission racket in the college.

The college administration cancelled the admission of 36 students found guilty in this. The college has good infrastructure with good buildings and the college has all the facilities for all types of sports- indoor and outdoor. The college cricket ground is regarded the best in whole of south Delhi.

The college has computerized library with huge collection of books from all over the world. The college also organizes seminars and workshops for grooming he students.

Placement in the college is also good with many MNC’s recruiting from here. There are few drawbacks as well. The college offers only one post-graduate course that is M.com degree. The quality of faculty in the college is good but not up to the mark.

Students who want to make a good career in commerce and arts should join this college but those who wish to study science and do research later should look for other option.This college as compared to the other commerce colleges is good because this college focuses mainly on commerce and nicely grooms its students for bright and better future.
