Sahara Packers

In May, 2012, I contacted them for my bike (pulsar 150 cc 2009 make) transportation from Gurgaon to Bangalore. They said it will be done with in a week. I called them may time between 25th to 6th June, but only got it got it back on 6th June eve. Every time I heard a new excuse and everyone there told me a different story.

The worst thing is, they damaged my bike like hell. Petrol tank fully damaged, handle compeletely broken, fork bent, tail light broken, rear brake broken, and thousands of scratches. And no one is ready to listen when I asked them to do something about it.

I left my household goods & car with Sahara in their warehouse for 2 years, they damaged the car (broke the glass and even driven it for 20000 KM, made dents and accidents in the car). They stole most of the household goods & damaged the rest. Instead of 3K/month they made me pay more than 4K/month, and delivered after a month, since I requested. They are a company of goons, mafia and absolute crooks, so DONT GO WITH THEM, please. Mr. Jitesh, Shailesh and Mr. Modi, its all controlled by these unethical idiots. AND they operate under Goods Carrying Cargo Ltd, which is again a fake company. I had to even lodge a formal complaint with Lalbagh Police Station, because inspite of taking more than 1 lakh rupees on rental charges, they damaged most of my household goods, and denied to accept that, and claim insurance. So better sell of your stuff, or donate it. BUT NEVER EVER avail of their services.

I am sure this might be one of the repeated mails on pathetic service that Shara Packers is offering to its Customers.

Recently I had requested for shifting of House hold goods from Coimbatore to Bangalore.I got a call from the number 9344238677 and this person was courteous enough to provide a reasonable quote and assured of best of the services.

He promised me that he will deliver the goods within next week and at my convenient time. The packing was done on 29th May 2012 and I received a call today i.e. 1st June 2012 that they will deliver the Goods today else I need to wait till Monday.

I called up this gentleman in Coimbatore and requested him to deliver the goods on Saturday or Sunday. But he bluntly refused stating that there is a function in head office and hence Saturday and Sunday they wont deliver. I asked him if they wouldn't deliver the Goods as per Customer's Choice of time, He had the audacity to say that we don't care about Customer if you want the delivery today take it else leave it.

Are they running an organization or doing Charity on me?

After all this drama Bangalore office told us to wait at 8 PM. They called us and told that vehicles Axle had a problem. On Saturday i.e., today they told us from 2.30 they would come and now they claim that tyre has burst. Were they telling us that all the issues are for the same vehicle. Two people were sent along with the luggage. They didn't even do the unpacking.

I haven't received my bike yet but I was FORCED to make rest of the amount.

Please ban this company from this field of Logistics.

I used Sahara Packers to ship my car, fridge and LCD TV to Kolkata from Pune. When I approached them in Pune, they sounded very nice, professional and confident about their services.So far, so good. They charged my 17, 500 for shipping these three items and the fool that I was, I paid the whole amount upfront. They promised to deliver it within 10 days.  From this point on, the story of my harassment begins. Car and TV were delivered in 2 weeks time.

1. When I had handed over the car, the tank was a little over half full. When the car was delivered to my place, there was not a drop of petrol in the tank. Their warehouse in Kolkata is a little over 2 hours ride to my house.

   
   




2. There was a small crater sized dent in my car. It appeared as if the car had been in an accident.

   
   




3. The person who had come to deliver the car and TV was rude and unco-operative. He refused to carry the TV to my apt which is on first floor, and harassed my old father.

   
   




4. The fridge had not been delivered uptil this time. Everyday they just kept telling me that it will be delivered the next day. Finally after waiting for more than 20 days I lost patience. When I asked for their manager's number, the staff at Kolkata was extrememly rude and they had the guts to shout on me.

   
   




5. They again harassed my father-asked him to message them our address, when of course they should have the address on the bill. Then they told me that my father was asking the fridge to be delivered on a different address, which is of course complete BS.

   
   




6. In the middle of all this, I have been following up with their contact in Pune for the claim towards the damage done to my car and the petrol stolen. He JUST DOESN'T ANSWER THE CALL. I am in another city now(which is why I shipped my stuff in the first place), and everyday I am using my friends' mobiles to call him. He will not answer any number from which he knows I can call him.

   
   

So, my advice is that don't use this company if you have any option. If at all you engage them, don't make the mistake of paying the whole amount upfront. However sweetly they may talk, you cannot trust them at all.

I have transported my house hold material from Kolkata to Gaya through this cheat Packer on dated 29.04.12. The Manager Mr. Deepak sinha of Kolkata saltlake Branch assure me that your house hold material will reach to your destination save and Properly, but he cheated me. They have broken and damage many thing eg Dinning table glass, new alna's door, Candler etc. they have unpacked the big big items, but they have not open the small kartoons were the material was and they told me that your material is ok and please write "Received material in good condition" . I request all my friends please don't go for sahara packers for your transportation. again I request please don't go for this cheat Packers

They spoiled my day.We have shifted many times before with local guys with no issues at  all but this time since it was to a different city thought of going with a known one.But I regret deeply.The yhave no ethics and they do all sort of things to snatch money from you.They demand extra money just before unloading your things.They manipulate the receipt and will keep you on pin point for hours.If you want to talk they behave rudely and abuse you.They steal things and  they mix your things with other people.They never give you respect.Total cheater.

If you love your things, money and time never go with these frauds.

My Personal Thing Is that If I compare any Company in Packing and Moving I will Give you 100% marks on Sahara packers and Movers.

If you are planning to appoint packers for your moving needs, and Sahara is the only company available, even then - DO NOT repeat DO NOT even think of Sahara. This is the worst group of people that are around only to con people. I moved from Chennai to Kolkata, was promised the best service by them, but - on the day of the packing, one packer from Sahara turned up, along with 2 loaders to do the packing! So you can imagine - half my stuff is broken, and inspite of promises of claim settlement, no one reads complaint mails, or takes the phone. They are NOT BOTHERED! Busy conning others! Pls dont be one of the victims.

I am a teacher in a private organization. on 28th of feb. 2012 we hired mr. pawan aggarwal sahara movers & Packers Pvt. Ltd. to shift our household and one car from gurgaon to kolkata as my hasband has transferred. car was taken from our home on 5th of march 2012 and we were told that car will be reached within 8 days but after a long waiting period finally car reached on 19th march 2012 with a very bad condition and the meter reading was also increased from 6542 to 8101 i.e approx. 1500 km more than the reading when car was taken from our home. it was so sure that car was not uploaded on the car container rather was reached by draving directly from gurgaon to kolkata and was used as a taxi also because the distance from kolkata to gurgaon is also approx 1500 km. when we talk to mr. pawan agarwal, he simply denied to admit that and not taking the responsibility and asking to pay final 1000 rs. that was left with us. I have paid rs. 9000+service tax 10.3 extra just for the sake of safe recieving of my one and only car.

I have asked them to show us the papers showing the detail of container in which the car was suppose to reach to its destination but they are not able to present any document. I wud like to mention here that our husehold was shifted safely only because we sent our private guy with the truck. I have undergone from many mental tension and restlessness due to their unprofessional behaviour of mr. pawan agarwal. kindly do the justice on our behalf and claim against company for the loss.

Please do not ever utilize this company. I had some family heirlooms (worthless to anyone but me) shipped from India to the USA, and they took my money (Rs. 30000) and never bothered sending the items for over 2 months. Would not return phone calls or respond to the emails.

Fortunately, I complained about them to both the police and other government authorities and got the items recovered. This is obviously a criminal organization. They took my money and had no intentions of sending the items. If the items had been worth anything commercially, I have no doubt that they would have sold them.

I used Sahara people for moving my bike from Pune to Noida. They promised me to deliver it within 5 days. They took the bike from my place on 5-Feb-12. Even today, i.e. 19th Feb 2012, I am waiting fro the delivery. Nobody will take the responsibility.

They will never get back to you, though they promise to call back in 10 mins. I strongly recommend to blacklist them from the business.

Please DO NOT USE their so called SERVICES.

Please never ever take a service from this company. They packed all our house hold items and told us that next day at door step our lagague will be there. They collected full amount on the day of packing.

Next day when we called, they are saying if our laugague has to be reached on the next day we will have to pay double amount otherwise have to wait for one week.

Their response is not good at all.

My father is in a transferable job. So we r used to this kind of shifting, etc. Through a frend of ours we came to know abt this bloody packers & movers. We were shifting fm Kolkata to Bhubaneswar.When they came to our house, they talked as sweet as honey.

But! Most of our things were broken. This was bcoz of d poor packing. Many things were stolen. The one who had came to deliver talked to very rudely. he also used slangs on my father.The one who talked in our house was also very at that particular time. He never sorry. They didnt even give us the money for stolen & broken things. They r== d worst packers== I hv ever seen. They dont know how to pack.== They only know how to make money.== Our family is a very orthodox one. V could not bear d pain of d broken idols.:(:(:(

I used their service when I shifted my belongoings from Bangalore to Kolkata... the service is the worst and I am totally freaked out...they are just thief... be careful when they pack... all of them are bluddy thieves... they stole my watch, playstation and loads of small things... there are lot of hidden charges with them... None of the stuff are cooperative... they wont call u when they get the things transfered... they wont even unpack the things...

I would recommend never ever go with these guys.

Their staff were very rude.  They were not willing to pack even delicate items properly.  On complaining to Jitesh he sided with his useless arrogant staff.

Car was supposed to reach within 3 days but never reached.  When I called Jitesh he did not bother to pick calls.  His local staff at Hyderabad were clueless about both the household items+car.  Finally I managed to get hold of the truck driver and got my household items unloaded.  Car delivery was delayed and on calling Jitesh and his colleague they started using filthy language(F) etc and told me to do whatever I want.

Please Don't go for any household shifting with This type of Cheaters.They are really Bloody.

I am going to sue them.They deducted my  insurance charges and didn't provide me receipt even after 1 month of consignment.

I suggest all my friends not to go for Sahara packers in any City.These cheaters have the same type of staff who is telling lie every where and their staff are hungry for Money.They are begging infront of me for 100 or 200 rupees.

I have chosen Sahara packers & Movers. Jitesh(MD of this organisation) came to my home and finalized the deal. I had very bad experience after the delivery because of below reasons

1. They delivered goods around 2 AM morning and didn't unpack the goods.

   
   




2. My Iron almariah is damaged.

   
   




3. They don't know how to pack Bike. All small parts clutch, gear, Dimmer are broken.

   
   




4. I didn't receive few things which are packed

   
   




5. My Gas stove is completely replaced with another not conditioned one.

   
   

All these costed me around 10000/- to buy again.

Please don't go for Fraud organisation which is managed by Jitesh.

Jitesh completed M.B.A but of no use when it comes to after delivery services.

I have send several SMS to him as he is not lifting my calls but it's of no use.

Be careful with the advertisement and representatives’ commitment. They do completely what they say during the inspection. For me I chose Shara- when Jites come to my Bangalore house and told me Sir- we will provide you a single vehicle and no sharing as well as your shipment will be delivered within 8 days. Unfortunately:

1. When they delivered the car after 22 days - the looking glass were broken!!

   
   




2. After 28 days I received my goods by a sharing vehicle. This is very much opposite when I Paid 65000.00 from Bangalore to Purulia, west Bengal to Jitesh.

   
   




3. There were 20 pots with several species of tree were there- all stolen. Donot know how many good stolen from the box. Could be a common business and sell it to local market. Probably to make up the competitor difference.

   
   




4. packing quality is very poor- including the staff behavior.

   
   




5. donot believe Jitesh- Very fraud- guy. Only make false commitment.

   
   

In India all these possible. If they are in other country - could be spent rest of their life in Jail.

So my strong suggestion- donot choose SAHARA or if you choose get sign on stamp paper.

Our experiene turned out to be a nightmare.

We moved the goods from Chennai to Mysore. They quoted Rs. 4000 to pack and get the goods taken to B'lore to be put in the same truck as my sister's ( whose goods were also moving from there to the same Mysore location ). The packing people came home, used up all the packing matl that we had purchased ( don't worry abt that amt as we had already bought the same ). They charged us Rs. 5500/- and not Rs. 4000/-. Over that they also charged us insurance too @ Rs. 600/-.

The loaded goods came to Mysore - probably transhipped many times., but not on the same truck as my sister's.

They unloaded the goods and got our signature and flew off. When we opened the packets, we find that the whole lot of glassware, kitchenware and electrical goods are all in a mess.

Mr. Manoj Jain takes calls once in blue moon ( blue moon - synonym ) and says he will settle the same loss, but there is no use at all.

This is probably a big mistake that we did!
