Royal Enfield is a British motorcycle brand that has been in existence for over a century. The company was founded in 1901 by George Townsend in Redditch, England. The company's first motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Model 1, was launched in the same year. The brand was named after the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, London, where the first Royal Enfield motorcycles were manufactured.

In the early years, Royal Enfield motorcycles were primarily used by military and police forces in the United Kingdom and other countries. In the 1960s, Royal Enfield of India introduced the Bullet, a 350 cc motorcycle based on the original Royal Enfield Bullet. The Bullet quickly became popular in India and established Royal Enfield as the leading motorcycle brand in the country.

In 1970, the parent Royal Enfield company in the UK went out of business, and India's Enfield became the sole manufacturer of Royal Enfield motorcycles. The company continued to manufacture the Bullet and also introduced new models such as the Electra and the Thunderbird.

In the 1990s, India's Royal Enfield faced stiff competition from Japanese motorcycle manufacturers and struggled to maintain its market share. The company decided to focus on the classic motorcycle segment and introduced the Royal Enfield Classic, a motorcycle designed to evoke nostalgia of the original Royal Enfield motorcycles.

I bought a new royal Enfield himalayan from SR motors delhi jhandewala and I road only 1080 km and the rear brake pad damaged the rear disk. I asked for the claim from the showroom they denied giving service and the manager said there is no guaranty after sale.

I want service what I have paid for. Their statement is not justified. Pathetic service from the SR motors staff.

I have been using royal Enfield for 2 year .It is not comfortable for travelling with family.its backseat is very narrow.and a even women and child cannot sit properly.i think it is suitable only for teenagers and youngsters who is unmarried.many women Complaints this issue

I have continental GT 2 years 2 months old. I regularly do service at Royal Enfield service stations every time spending 1000 or 2000 or even more. Last service I gave in Hosur service station bill was 3K. Next day bike not starting and gave the bike back to service station. They informed me saying wiring is full gone and battery is gone. Cost for wiring is 5K and Battery 3K. I am ready even change the battery, how a regularly serviced bike that also 2.5 lac INR bike wiring to be gone this fast. Either enfied is using low quality parts or mistake from service station. Last 2 weeks I am trying to get an answer for Royal enfied, they dont even bother to respond. That I so ridiculous at lest you should respond and and tell what is the issue. Only one mail came saying you warranty is over by 2 months. No one call, no response for all the other query. I have Honda which is 17 years old, even one time I didnt change the wiring. That is Ad is right, Enfied is like having an Old elephant . Bad service, and service station charge is very high. You call back to me not Royal, instead Cheaters Enfield.

The price of royal enfield bike is very high. However it has good looks but people have to pay huge sum of money to purchase this bike.Not every person can purchase this bike.This bike does not gives much mileage.The average mileage of this bike is not more than 40km per litre.Weight of this bike is much more.

Hello guys.all the bikes from royal enfield like classic, electra, continental and thunderbird are the bikes which are just to feel the ride.not suitable for racing, not suitable for making stunts since it's weighing high.sound it makes is noisy and gives vibrations near handle and foot pegs thus it irritatates the rider.these bikes only for the people having good personality and having the capability to carry the load of bike.

Royal Enfield is one of the legendary motorcycle companies in the world. We used to give some respect to the vehicle as well as to it's owner. Once there were a few bikes on the roads. But now Royal Enfield bikes are everywhere. With the introduction of Classic models the sales increased. But the quality of this legendary motorcycle manufacturer is now getting worse. Classic models are very attractive with its classic looks. There are many complaints arising everyday about this bike. Some bikes have tick-tick sounds coming from the engine, while some cannot even complete 100kms without any problems. Some engines are good, but there is oil leaking from the engine.I have done several things to stop oil leakage, but no use. The seats are not comfortable and we get tired.The BHP of the bike needs to be improved as the competitors like UM Renegade Commando bikes are with 24 BHP. The maintenance costs of the bike is very high. The parts get damaged and screws get losen. The service centres give another bitter experience. The Company needs to improve the quality of the bikes.

My father use this bike for 5 years this bike is very combartable. Bike very styles desigh and but this bike avarge not good this bike avarge low.and price also high this bike.this bike power is very high .and this bike is very good bike in indian roods.resale value is not a bad resale value is high in indian market.
