My friend lives in Mira road Thane in mumbai. He usually buy all his grocery form the star bazaar, dahisar, thakur mall, etc because they are the best when it comes to quality and price. But for last 3 months he has been going for his monthly grocery in reliance fresh of mira road as it is near to his house of approx 10 mins by walking. He says that the reliance fresh market looks worse than a general kirana store. Even the kirana stores are better than that. The market is not maintained well.
When you hear the name of reliance, you will expect a good image of the shop just like the other services provided by reliance whether it be mobile, petrol, shopping mall, electricity, footsteps, but not this one. Reliance fresh is just the opposite, its stale.
The moment he entered the store he started to sweat as the store was fully air conditioned and packed but the ac were out of service. Then he started the struggle to find a trolley which he found after searching for 5 minutes as the staffs were also not helping him. The trolley he found was faulty and always tend to fall whenever he put anything into it.
After having done the shopping he was waiting in the never ending queue of the payment counter. There was only two counters for billing. Both the staffs on those counter were totally unskilled as they were taking more than 10 minutes for a single person for billing. After waiting for half an hour his turn came. While scanning the products their bar code scanner got some issue. Due to which he had to wait for more 10 minutes in that super hot supermarket .
On reaching home he saw that there was leakage in the pack of flour, tea, sugar. He was really very angry to see that as it wasn't visible in the low light of that market.
I called the store to complain about this but no one received the call. I never expected such a bad service with such a big brand of reliance.
