Not a good school. Principal is bad and teaching is not good. Overall atmosphere in this school is not good.

Overall its not worth time, energy and family compromises you do to work in this shitty school.Avoid giving interviews to this school. This review is only about Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Thanisandra branch.I am not sure of other branch.

1.Principal has behavioural issues.

2.You are treated as slaves not as teachers

3.There is no leave policies. Every leave you take is loss of pay. Even if it is 1day in a year.For that 1day leave they will ask you to produce medical certificate etc.

4.Some amount will be cut from your salary every month and management will say they full put in FD that amount and give back with intereset at time leaving. But they will not give at the time of leaving.

5.Pay package for teachers is very less in this school compared to small schools in this area which are paying far more than what is offered here.

6.Salary cut for late coming

No teaching aids like chart paper, sketch pens etc are provided by schools to teachers. Teachers have to spend from their pocket and buy it.

8.They will ask for money from you at the leaving to give back original certificates

9.Teachers will shout each other, principal will shout at you publicly. Overall its not a good atmosphere inside.

10.They will extend your working hours most of the days by scheduling meeting outside of working hours.

11.Some instances they will force you to come even on sundays.

12.School is not considerate about your health or your family. Even if you or your family members are sick they will not approve leave and harass you to come.

13.More classes are given to existing teachers to handle since they hire less teachers to save cost.

14.No benefits are provied to teachers.

15.False promises during interviews.

16.Lot of clauses in offer letter which are towards benefits of school.Offer letter will be given late you. Your original certificates will be collected before issuing offer letter.So they will put you in a trap.

17.Its not a educational institution and its a business place

18.Lot of teahcers are leaving this school.

19.If you get experience certificate while leaving you are lucky

If the foundation is strong then the building will be stronger. This school concentrates more on getting the basics right. No frills attached. I would recommend this school to all the parents who wish to see their child to become a good human being. Always good to see the kids are learning about our culture and history and not getting influenced by unwanted ideas

Very nice experience being in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra From last year since I joined from 6th standard.

Nice and humble teaching staffs and other staffs as well . They follow all the

Hindu customs and educate children about our Hindu religion and custom. The best part about them is that they teach children about Hindu rules and regulations which important for every human being at a very early age

Very bad experience .The receptionist is unprofessional and rude. We had been to school at arround 1.00 pm on Saturday to enquire about admission and asked the security if the office is open and he informed us it is open and we went in.The receptionist was too occupied with her work and did not address us and instead called the security and scolded him saying why do allow people inside, when am I suppose to do my work, and asked her what is the age limit for nursery addmmision she said 2.8 and told my daughter is not eligible as she will be 2.7 .She just wanted us to leave the place and was not even ready to spend time to listen to us .My husband was frustrated and we just left the place . Management has to look in giving some soft skills training .Her job is to address people at reception and she is not ready to do that and Insted scolding security why he allowed us inside in front of us. What kind of Brand are they setting.

RVK, Thanisandra started in the year 2006, with very Good infrastructure and staff, but with very less number of Kids,

as the school was new. This school has both montessori and nursery methods. Age of Kid for montessori now is 2.8 years and nursery 3 years. School houses RTE Students too. My son studied in this and I am happy about the facilities. A part from Academic school has swimming, Yoga, table tennis, chess as electives. Weekly once music, swimming and Yoga are compulsory. Best part is, if the Child is talented and recognised in any of the electives, he/she will be trained for free for 6 days in a week. School has presentation and own in international swimming championships.

Pros: Good Academic, extra Curricular and excellent infrastructure

Cons: Sometimes feel like the head of the institution and their admin are unfriendly with patents. Also, english communication is little poor when compared to convert schools.

I joined RVK in 2006, yes the year of its inception. When parents worry about school's alumni, the experienced staff and the track record of the school itself among many other factors before admitting their children, my parents chose this'just born school' to educate me and my brother. And today I cannot thank them enough for that beautiful experience.

After having studied for 7 years in various educational institutions and having made friends from different schools, I have not heard anyone say that their school had been the best and the time they spent their remained to be a cherished moment forever.

The responses typically I get when asked about school experience are: Eeey. Don't talk about that or I am done with it, shall we change the topic, etc. This has been tried and cross checked by my RVK friends with their present classmates too!

Now let me try and include some points to make my review'a good review' according this website.

Academics: Teachers are the best. special attention was provided for me as I was terribly bad at science.

Administration: very understanding people. It is simple to an extent that I began to carry cash to pay my fees.

Extracurricular Activities: we had soo many meaningful activities that are soo special to us now. back then as a 14 year old, I clearly don't recall how I experienced. what I know now is because of all these activities that I learned group dynamics and communication skills!

Alumni network: We have ROOTS - Rashtrotthana Old students Organization for Transforming Society. Diversity among ourselves in terms of professions chosen. An added advantage for your child, anyone from RVK background can contact us for any kind of assistance.( ROOTS is just 10 years old, we assure you that we will grow stronger)

We love school so much that my brother continued his education in RVK-Dharwad, when we had to relocate ourselves from Bangalore after my 10th standard(a collective decision by my parents and my brother). My cousin and my neighbors also studied there and are equally happy about their decision to be a part of RVK family.

Infrastructure is good. Transportation is good and Fee is less compared to other Schools. Only Three things are positive. The current Principal is very rude, not friendly with Parents and Kids. She is still in the last generation.

Management is not focusing on improving the quality of teachers, especially for the higher standards like 6, 7, onwards, teaching quality is poor. Management need to address this immediately otherwise children will suffer.

I do not see any value added education system, no Patriatism etc. as they claim RSS is having great Patriotism background. School administration will hardly listen to parents problem especially current Principal. we have to wait and see if new principal takes over. overall still long way to go.  I am pulling my ward out of this school.

My Kid is studying in 3rd Standard in RVK BSK. School is very good and teachers take care of kids very well. Previously I was thinking to move back to Hyderabad but now stopped thinking of re location to Hyderabad. Good School.

Kids knowing our culture is most important and with my kids joining this school I am rest assured on those lines.

No stress on kids. No huge home work or exam pressure. Mostly he enjoys going to school which is most important for any kids.

I was searching for reviews of RVK BSK and being a parent of kids studying there I wanted to hear the feedback and challenges other parents face. To my surprise I find none. I am posting this for parents to get the right perspective of the school when they admit their children.

The school has a good culture and Infra, started off very well with a great Principal who just loved children and brought in a good atmosphere for students. I am sure the growth and commercialization of schools has now been a cause of concern.

Its difficult to maintain a proper method, culture and systems to ensure the quality does not come down, I know that the educational institutes now adopt ISO standards but should not be just on paper as some company does.

I have heard of great schools and being one educated from a Catholic school I am sure they do manage this business very well.The concept of the school is good but the administration definitely needs improvement.

With the current issues of children safety, we need to check if the school has deployed CCTV, have validated the credentials of the staff including drivers and so on. There is supposed to be a core committee with parents that needs to be set up in schools as per the new govt direction.

We hear some instances of the same and are concerned, I hope the management is looking into all this and getting them in place.

I still recommend people to think and validate all this before putting their wards to any school.

I started with great expectations as my kid is above average in studies but am definitely disappointed with the current trends but trying to stay neutral on this school but do not have any thing great to talk about at this stage.
