How I Visited?
In the February, 2015, my relatives of Mumbai had their plan to visit Delhi and explore all the beautiful tourist places. Among various sports, they also wanted to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Hence, I booked its ticket online in advance and made them visit this place.
About My Experience
While booking the tickets online, I got to knew that for public visit the doors of President's House remains open only for 3 days a week- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At the time of booking, I made all the travel plans and fixed visit to this place on Saturday.
This one is sprawling over a massive space and has beautifully built. I got to know its visitors timing through internet, hence managed my travel plans, accordingly. We reached their at 12pm and left the place around 2pm. Altough visitors timings were 10am-4pm.
Best Attractions for Me:
Mughal Garden- In the lawn of Rashtrapati Bhavan, their is an impeccable Mughal Garden, where a large varieties of flowers of various countries are planted to enhance the beauty.
Cactus Garden- The Preseident's house also has a cactus garden, in which several types of cactus of various length & age are planted.
Herbal Garden- One of the best things, I found in this place was its Herbal Garden, which was giving me soothing aroma of several herbs that are extensively used in Ayurveda and Herbal products making.
Darbar Hall- An extremely beautiful section of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. This one has hundreds of chair for common people/ guests and one special chair in front for the honorable President of India. It truly gives the feel that this home is of the most reputed and VVIP of India.
Museum- The museum of this place is also increasing its beauty as well as aesthetic value with years old paintings as well as having the gifts items that are received by the president.
Some Other Things That I Liked
Rastrapati Bhavan has stringent security checking process, which it actually must have. I liked the high level of security. I also liked the personnel employed their, who were working their job, perfectly and making people see all the attractions and places of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
