I clearly remember each and every detail that led me to Raman Classes. It was my 3rd Semester at a private college just 5km away from Raman Classes. As usual we were killing time by doing nothing when I met a Raman Classes Alumni who was teaching part-time in our college waiting for his PhD Admit approval at IIT Roorkee. As we were new to our field, we did not know what truly engineering means, what are other engineers upto, what is the status of students at other IITs and IIITs. I asked my doubts about the opportunities that I can try my hands on. He directed me to visit Raman Classes campus and meet Sir.

It was in November when I had an opportunity to meet Sir. He shared his experience and guided us regarding the opportunities which are lying ahead us. The TAKE-AWAY lesson that I got that day was “He made us realise that there is a fierce competition outside the bubble which we were used to live in and refused to see the reality. Students of IITs/IIITs are much ahead us and they are the same people with whom we have to compete”. That day itself I decided to join Raman Classes and follow all his guidelines thoroughly.

Once the classes started, there was no looking back. Sir has taught at various renowned institutes and hence is very experienced in teaching as well as in understanding the needs of a student. He not only teaches you the technical stuff, but also teaches you to be a Good Human Being and promotes us to contribute to the society.

Raman Classes is way different than other coaching classes that I have heard of. It is not just come-study-goback type of institute. The key feature is the positive environment created by sir and our seniors. Every weekend we study together, help each other, play together. Each and every student along with Sir is like a family.

At Raman Classes, with the help of mentors and friends we work on decreasing the theta(i.e. increasing our understanding), so that we can cover the topics without much Force.

The campus has TT Tables, Badminton Court, Cricket Equipments etc. so that students can stay stress free. Sir also conducts yoga classes and promotes us to stay fit. We also celebrate festivals together. It is basically a home away from home.

Provision of accomodations is also there with separate hostels for boys and girls.

Raman Classes is not only about GATE coaching. Along with regular lectures, sir motivates and helps us in AI-ML based research projects, Aptitude Building etc.

In today's world advertisement can sell anything on this earth and popular talks and videos can convince anyone which is not worth at all. This comment is 100% my own comments and are based on my personal experience with Raman Classes.

The real purpose of education is to bring the best talent from the student and make sure that the learning is relevant throughout the career. During my personal many interactions with the students of Raman classes and the promoter I realized that what a fantastic model has been created to enhanced the quality of our students who pass out from the engineering colleges. Around 90% of the engineering students who do not get the desired job are due to 100% based on what the students did and what they did not do while in the college. But when the same very student get a chance to come in contact with a person like Dr. Ankush Mittal his or her life changes or in a short time he or she will change the institute. Because each and every minute what student spent in RC are monitored and not even a minute is wasted that is the reason why this RC has such a high record and they are consistent for the past more than a decade.

Everyone in this world has different opinions for someone.Even for God, people have different opinions.

I will share my experience here about Dr. Ankush Mittal and Raman Classes.

I was in my last semester of B.Tech and got placed in Infosys and Accenture by campus Placement. Ankush sir joined Graphic Era University around October, 2011. They introduced to our batch about the Raman classes, advantages of going for M.Tech after GATE and opportunities thereafter. I was bit confused to drop a year to prepare for GATE as I took coaching from renowned institute, paying huge money for IIT-JEE preparation after 12th. But I couldn’t make it. I met to sir two times, before preparing my mind to prepare for GATE and joining Raman classes for the same. He told me –“Past can’t be changed, but time changes and just because one failed in past, he should not stop to make another educated try”. I didn’t join companies and joined Raman classes in 2012, along with Teaching profession at Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun. Within 2 months at coaching, I felt that I have learnt so many things which I have not learnt in my 4 years of B.Tech. The picture about subjects of computer science started to become clear. I used to study a lot, but didin’t get marks accordingly. Sir told me about good study patterns and experiential learning(It was new concept for me).

Experiential learning became the real pathway to make my learning better.It even helped me in my teaching profession. Many of the institutes are there today for GATE and take good amount of money. But one should think that if you have to invest your precious money then why to go for brand name, just because something has lot of name in market . Go where your investment bears results. I am not against any coaching institute. But according to my experience, if I would have joined any other coaching institute for GATE, I would have surely failed. Sir’s guidance is superb. Even there were students, who have back in many subjects but those people cracked GATE with good rank with sir’s guidance. Such is his motivation.

When someone helps you in need, you become indept of him. I was going through my tough times during coaching. He guided me and helped me a lot.It resulted in continuing my GATE preparation, otherwise I would have left the classes.

Truly speaking, It was this guidance of sir for which I was looking in my life. I prepared for GATE along with my friends and teaching profession. I got good rank in GATE 2013, but I didn’t go for M.Tech due to my some personal reasons.

So, you may think why I am then sharing all this to you. Leave it here only. But stop please. Story doesn’t ends here. Because Ankush sir was with me after this also. I continued teaching at GEHU. Good subject knowledge due to coaching helped me in Teaching profession too.

See, the aim of life is not to reach to a place, because life is not race. It is about learning, sharing things and be satisfied in what you do. So, I was on this path actually. In April, 2016, I met to sir due to some work and he told me to prepare again for GATE. But why did he say so.? Was he having any motive behind it? Any monetary one? No. Your parents, well wishers guide you because they care for you, not for your money.

I started to again prepare for GATE 2017.(BTW, from 2013-16, I continued to give GATE, getting good rank).With the help of God’s grace and motivation from sir, I cleared GATE 2017 and joined IIIT Delhi for M.Tech(CSE).

Raman classes is a place, where you will get real fruit of your money and time. Sometime people say, they could not get good rank. They wasted their money. If you prepared and learned concepts well, then even if you could not clear GATE, their lies many opportunities after that also. Even sir used to say this that GATE is not the end of life. Your time along with efforts play an important role in clearing GATE.

Nothing and nobody is perfect in this world. But one should try to take good things from people and leave the rest. If Ankush sir didn’t came to my life as an angel, then I would most probably would not be at the place where I am today. He knows how to guide average student. His encouragement during classes helps a weaker, average student to discover his potential. He teaches life skills also along with technical skills because he believes your character matters first then your technical knowledge. Sir’s guidance and the teaching profession helped me to get placed in product based companies. I thank God, challenges in life and sir’s motivation, guidance for becoming me my better version.

Best coaching you can ever receive in your life. It's just not a normal coaching center where you go and attend classes and come back where faculty do not even know your name. Here you will build a personal relationship with your seniors and with the faculty. I joined in 2014 when I was in Btech 3rd year, now I am pursuing Ph.D. from IIIT Delhi in DeepLearning and Computer Vision.

Dr. Ankush Mittal the chief instructor and Director of Raman Classes teaches the concepts of computer science with such an ease and makes it so easy to understand. The whole culture of Raman Classes is very different there is a sense of positivity. I came here in August 2018 and cracked Gate 2019 with 96 percentile(Approx.), In just 6 months all the guidance and content including the classes and constant motivation helped me alot in achieving this. Except all this, the Values I have got from sir is commendable. Thank you so much sir for all this. Raman classes is such a good place to study, the environment, competitive students and ofcourse Ankush sir. He has been more like a father to me rather than a teacher.

Lastly I would recommend everyone who want to give GATE, or planning to study abroad should come here atleast once with a Zeal that yes I can do it, and then you see the difference.

Hello friends,

I was an average student in B.Tech and had no future plans besides joining a mass recruiter company(which pays 3 - 4 L). After meeting Dr. Ankush Sir(Director of Raman Classes) I got awareness about GATE exam which leads to pursue M.Tech from IIT. I prepared for GATE for an year, Sir explained every topic in such a simple manner that I developed taste for studies(which was lost after joining college). This institute has unique system of conducting several mock tests, giving personal feedbacks and motivation, mentors, refreshments.

I got AIR 67 in GATE exam and completed M.Tech from IIT R. Later I prepared for placement from the same institute and got placed in Nvidia Graphic Pvt Ltd as SW Developer.

Today's I am going to tell you about the Raman classes. Raman Classes are situated at Roorkee city. It is one of the best coaching class for CS/IT for the presentation of Gate.

The faculty Dr. Ankush Mittal have a lot of year experience around 10-15 year experience holder and he teach very well. So. many students got success from here, in previous years many students are able to crack the Gate exam with good marks.

He takes fees around INR 65000 one time and after that you can do practice for 3 - 4 years or whenever you want, he does not take fee every year.

He have idea which types of questions are ask in Gate exam and how to solve it with in some seconds. In Raman Class you can come here anytime for study or even whole day you can spend here, and do questions.

He will gave questions sheets frequently 2or 3 in a week, Sir tries to give each type of questions which had been asked earlier in Gate exam. He also take test series after the completion of course both online and offline test are held here for practice and also witin time limit. Sometimes sir gives motivation lectures between the lectures which give students positive thinking and become full of confidence.
