Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Hyderabad

I m a student of this university.This university is located at basar, nirmal district of telangana state.It spans over 272 acers.This university provied 6 years integrated cource in which 2 years called PUC( pre University course) which is equivalent to 11th and 12th class of telangana board of intermediate education and subjects including Maths, Physcics, Chemistry.and 4 years btech course which includes branches like

1) Civil Engineering

2) Electrical and Electronics Engineering

3) Mechanical Engineering

4) Computer Science and Engineering

5) Electronics and Communication Engineering

6) Chemical Engineering

7) Metallurgy and Materials Engineering

Each year around 30 thousand students apply to admission and only a few students between 1000-1500 will be selected based on the merit they score in SSC exams .Its main aim to educate the rural youth into a professional engineers .

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, popularly known as APIIIT, established in the year 2008 by the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

It provides a 6 year integrated B.Tech course for students of AndhraPradesh free of cost. They Provide laptops for the students free of cost.

Lack of faculty and proper syllabus is the major drawback of the university. They provide free hostel facility but we are facing water problems all the time. One more thing about it is there is no proper playground in the campus. Being an university it is very necessary to work for the overall development of the student but they didn't.

Keeping in mind these basic needs of an University, I am not at all satisfied with it.

I am from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies, Nuzvid 2009 batch.This university has another name that is international institute of information and technologies.But now that name is not used. Only APIIIT, nuzvid is used.This university will give admissions to 750 students( earlier 2000 after that 1000 now reduced to 750) , per year from government schools mostly.students from private and aided schools will get less chances.Excellent infrastructure with laptops, Wi-Fi, lectures in online and NPTEL videos, great library.But learning by doing process.it may be difficult to students from telugu medium background.But lectures and professors are always supportive.M Bi P C in intermediate, ECE CSE Mech Civil Chem MME are engg courses.Campus placement no guarentee.only suitable for completing degree.My sincere suggestion is not to join .if any queries plz ask.

Hii students i'm here with my university that is Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies(iiit basar) Catering to the Educational Needs of Gifted Rural Youth of Telangana.it is in basar village adilabad district telangana state india.By getting good marks in 10th class(9.7+) we will get an opportunity to study integrated course in IIIT basar, digital learning means they will provide laptops to learn new concepts and technologies as the integrated course it has 2 years of intermediate either MPC or BiMPC(It has biology also) and after completion of intermediate we will choose our interested branch as(Ex:CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil, MME, Chemical) by engineering 4th year we will get placed in placements minimum 35 companies(TCS, Wipro, Infosys, ADP, TechMahindra.etc) will come to the campus at last 80-90% students will be placed.come to accommodation and food it's all free so 10th students I suggest study well and get good marks get seat in iiitbasar.

This is 6 years intigrated course, and very good location and good environmental location,. In this collage total education in computers. Exam, study toally all works in computer, in this clg totally computer based study. All lessions teach in online. Very good lectures and good teachars........................................................................

Rajiv Gandhi University of knowledge and technology is all good like other universities and colleges it is not so popular and high ranking like other university and colleges because it us new and mist people do not know about that university.

Academic Programs in this university is like other university in India there is no difference in this university and any of the other university. They are new so they want to be the best as others and want to hold the top ranking.

The university Administrative is also good and very keen to do work and try to solve the students problem it depends on the students somehow. You know that.

Extracurricular programs in the university is also like the same as others. The students knows what meandms it. Student knows everything now a days.

Alumni network of this university is weak as it is new university. And much less passout students they have and that's why most of the people don't know about the university and it is not much popular.
