Rainforest Boutique Resort, Athirapally

Rainforest is one of the best and premium resort in Athirappilly, which is located 30 km away from Chalakudy in Thrissur district. The resort has 9 Rooms, 1 Cottage and 1 Tree house. The basic room rent starts from Rs.15000 onwards, including breakfast. House keeping staff's are paying high attention towards the room quality and service since they are charging high amount for rent. The food is really tasty and in good quantity. The service team is very creative and quick. The main attraction of this resort is its location, which is right in front of the waterfall and the entire resort has view of the waterfall even from the bathroom. The resort is located in the forest and sometimes we can see some wild animals like forest squirrel, deer, etc. The main drawback is it's difficult for physically challenged people to get to the room because there are only staircase to reach the rooms. I will not recommend cottage because there are lots of steps to reach the room and it has less view of the waterfall. Except these it's an amazing experience staying there.

Rainforest Boutique resort is a very beautiful resort that faces the most famous Athirapally waterfalls in Chalakudy. We visited this resort around six months back and were completely dazzled by the beauty and charm of the resort and its surroundings. I stayed in this resort with my family for two nights and it was such a remarkable and unforgettable experience for all of us.

In this review I'm going to brief the things I liked or disliked the most about this resort.

Positive aspects:

Each of the rooms offer such a breathtaking view of the magnificent Athirapally waterfalls, that it steals away your heart  almost instantly.

Our bedroom was really huge and comfortable with a  neat and spacious bathroom. Since the bathroom window also faced the waterfalls, view was simply fantastic.

It gave me a feel of paradise waking up to the gushing sound of waterfalls and  the continuous chirping and chattering sounds of birds and animals. It was truly a divine feeling.

Food was really great and all the staff were courteous and friendly.

They also have tree-house and it looked fantastic too.

I enjoyed every bit of my stay in this resort and it was indeed a soothing and relaxing weekend getaway.

Negative aspects:

The only negative thing I'd say about this resort is that it is a little'over-priced'. But again considering the jaw-dropping views and wonderful experiences it has to offer, one could perhaps overlook the price factor.

Best time to visit this place is from mid June to October.

Rooms are limited in number and hence it'd be ideal to book rooms at least a month prior to your trip. Booking can be done both online or via phone.

Athirapally has many tourist attractions nearby.tourists usually visit this place every year.even am one among the tourist to athirapally like them.then I booked a resort named "rainforest boutique".each room in the resort has a lovely view of beach from bed room window side.

Its really too romantic!i say.i felt this resort is best suited for honeymoon couples.my stay in the resort is really pleasing and fantastic.the room service is 24/7 .they clean the room every day  and mainly decorate the room with fragrant flowers and lilies.ambience is too good.in evenings, old romantic songs would be playing till 8pm.wow!next time when I visit athirapally.i book this resort again and again.
