I got my household items and car packed and moved from Noida to Navi Mumbai from Professional Movers and Packers under consignment number 2470 packed on 19th, 20th March 2011 and got partial delivery on 24th & 25th March 2011 from Noida to Navi Mumbai

2) Here are the deficiency in the delivery and service.

1. 10-11 boxes are not delivered.(costing Rs 70, 000 – Rs. 100000.00)

2. Car was fixed without my consent and it’s in bad shape. All local parts have been installed. How you can get it fixed without my permission. When I received my car it bumper, Radiator, Front Windshield headlights and it was welded inside the bonnet. Also there are the dents on the bonnet which are not fixed yet.(is not this illegal). I should have been informed and my insurance policy must have been used instead of fixing it without my knowledge. I want that fixed with genuine parts.

3. Insurance policy has not been shared and all my broken items are lying in my house(why I’m not getting the policy for which I paid, is not it illegal)

4. Bed Broken(Rs 50000.00 cost)

5. Dressing Table Broken(not fixed Rs. 20000.00)

6. Dining Table and lot of crockery glass items, photo frames are broken.

7. Items are not properly installed which were promised to me.

3) Here are the efforts from my side in the past to which the you has not responded.

I’ve been following up over phone and sms(31 sms) regarding my remaining 10-11 boxes(costing worth 70-80, 000 Rs) from 25th March till today that when I will get my remaining items and my broken items fixed. And asking for Insurance policy for my household items without any concrete reply or solution from your side.

Unprofessional and Worst service.Damaged goods worth Rs.200000.Rogues.Beware. They don't even have the courtesy to talk to customers and are telling do whatever u want to do. We dont care. The contract says the goods will be unpacked at the place of delivery.

But they have just left the goods as it was earlier. As for the insurance they are just not ready to comply. You telephone them they give you crap. I have even spoken to their owner. Even he is not bothered about Customers. He gave me such a rude reply. I guess no wonder the people there are so rude. You might as well burn your goods then give it in their hands.

I have experienced very bad experience with them. Service is bad , not user friendly, Staff is rude and wont be fair in terms of money. Initially they have quoted some amount.When they are shipping they have demanded more money.Still I have not received the goods on time.

I have made couple of follow ups then only I got. that's too bad. My suggestion.. never ever go for it.

We were living in Delhi when we had to move to Mumbai urgently. Besides, I had to transfer some of my goods to Kerala to furnish my home there. So we called two courier companies (Professional being one of them) to get the best quotes. The marketing guys had reached dot on time with their glossy brochure making me believe they were truly professional.

Coincidently, our car insurance had expired a month ago and we had to go with Professional as they were offering an advantage of transit insurance for our car. They were a shade expensive but car insurance was unavoidable and they said it can be arranged within three days. The goods will reach Mumbai within a week, car in twelve days and goods will be delivered to Kochi in ten days was the promise. We made 75% of the payment. The next day the workers came and completed packing by late night and we handed over the car to their office in Gurgoan before leaving for Mumbai.

The goods reached Mumbai a day late but we were little hesitant to pay the rest of the payment as we had received the car and the goods in Kochi had not been delivered but they almost forced us to pay as they refused to leave without the money and the owner was nearly crying as if the company will go bankrupt without our 25% payment. So my husband handed over the money and that was the biggest mistake we did. We got our car 2 weeks later scratched and bruised on the entire right door. They said the insurance is void as (their was a small scratch earlier and they had ticked it in the document) the document says there was a scratch. But a two inch scratch was extended to the entire door jamming one of the door locks.

When two weeks passed we had to follow up for our goods in Kerala. Every time they kept saying the staff is busy and it will reach the following day, used to give us a time and I had to send someone but no one used to turn up. This continued for a week, they stopped taking my calls and so finally I had called someone senior and yelled at him out of frustation. It is then they said, they don't have an office in Kerala. Things were unloaded in Bangalore and some other local packers and movers got it to Kochi after three weeks.

We had the local trade union person to unload (as the norm is in Kerala) .

Though the payment included unpacking they did not send any staff. We had to unpack the things and found many things damaged but as their was no witness to it from the company, insurance was not applicable. So please don't go for PROFESSIONAL movers and packers (all that matter to them is money and not service). Don't confuse this company to be a sister concern of Professional Couriers. It is a different company. I have used their service and they are good.

Please never prefer this packers...last month I got my house shifted from Pune to Bhilai...while taking the quotation these guys gave me lots of confidence that they will pack and unpack my furnitures...after reaching bhilai these guys said we cant make your furnitures...my mother and father in law stay alone in bhilai..they were keep calling these guys every day and me as well you are in hyderbabd since last month...every time we call them we get same response stating someone will come today or tmrow...its been 1 1/2 months still no once has turn...My advise to everyone pls do not prefer these nonprofessional guys.

Please never user https://professionalpackersindia.com services, they are thieves, I used this servies and they have stolen my items around 10000 rs, when I asked them , they are keep telling that they are following , its been 2 months now but no update from there side, now they are telling that they can give 500 rs for that item, , they are big thieves, I am wondering how come they got ISO certification.

The guy siting in chenai name SANDEEP is destroying company image, they don't know how to talk, I would suggest please don't use this packers and movers..They will brake you costly items while moving they will steal, they will never delivered on time..worst , , I have already complained about this packers and movers to chennai police station.

Please don't go with Professional PnM. The service is really worst. The delivery time will always be 4-5 days more of the estimated time. They will tell you that we will keep your luggage in a single private truck. But at the delivery point, I was shocked to see how badly my luggage has been put into the truck ( in sharing and much smaller than the claimed one). Lot of my stuff is been missing. They won't even unpack you baggage and will just run away. It cost me 25000/- from Mumbai to Hyderabad. My Almirah and Beds are broken( Estimated cost 5000rs).

Kitchen edible items are gone( Dry Fruits, Saffron, Pickles) estimated cost 1000/- Rs. Even if yours is an insured one, they wont come for insurance claim and settlement. They wont even answer your calls after delivery. Professional PnM - Suck to the core. !!!

I used its service for delhi to baroda which it promised to move in 4 days but after 15 days and innumerable std calls which was treated with neglect, it was delivered in poor condition without unloading and unpacking service that too with 3 items short.

It has worst service with complete disregard to promises and customer. Don't know how to recover remaining items.

after packing and reassurance .once we shifted , it started avoiding calls and making excuses. our car was delivered , but not door to door but 70 kms away and was asked to take away.

even balance amount was taken.

then the real ordeal started.

withno information of our household goods even after repeated calls, we had to adjust without our basic household requirement

finally it arrived in a truck in bad shape among other customer goods, we had to unload and unpack on our own , still 3 items was short. except for driver there were noone to enquire.

Was moving my stuff from Mumbai to Gurgaon. Promised to do it in 5 days but took 11 after I dont know how many phone calls. Must have spent 500 Rs on STD alone.

Then they refused to unload the stuff before receiving payment - and this after promising to compensate me for the delay.

The unpackers were even rude to my~60 yr old mother.

Needless to say, several items were broken - including expensive crockery, a fridge and a microwave. Add to this, they lost some clothes stands I was transporting. While they offered a paltry Rs 500 for the clothes stand, they refused to do anything about the other items.

This is the very worst in customer experience and I do hope the govt takes note and sets up some sort of regulatory body to oversee these horrendous packers and movers.

Update(30-Dec-09): They called to say that the missing clothes stands were now in Delhi - they dropped them off this morning and were very polite and apologetic. Of course, they did take the 500 rs I had held back. They also said they would try and have the fridge repaired. Let's see.

This is the summary of my bad experience with them and as there is nothing good to mention, it will be a list of bad things. I'll not include what I had to suffer because of this plus I am not at all in bad mood so do expect some humor.

I made a mistake & this is an effort to save others.

They promise you 6 days for X to Y but you actually get no idea about your belongings even after 20 days. I got mine in around 28 days. They actually quotes less than competition to attract customers, thing is that the mental tension you suffer and the helplessness you'll feel is much more than the amount you will save.

Day 1 - 7

As they promised you for seven days, they'll actually make a fool of you for seven days by saying that the truck already left. This is an effort so that you'll not start shouting from day 1. At least they are safe for 7 days, (They got minds man).

Day 7 - 10

After seven days, they'll give you some traffic excuse or some bad road excuse and promise you that it will be delayed for 1-2 days. You continue your follow-up on phone(for most of the cases this will be an STD call so consider the amount invested, thank god now we have per second pulse;-). docomo

Day 10 - 17

Actual drama begins, you called them, they gave a excuse that “TRUCK IS BROCKEN AND CAN NOT BE FIXED AND THEY HAVE SENT ANOTHER TRUCK, you shouted as they can not fool you, very next call after that they'll not pick your phone. Who the hell cares about you, But you are a clever guy, you dialed from land line, BUT they are doing this for years dude, so some junior guy will pick it and tell you that only the guy who is not picking your phone can tell you the status and the truck already left as he himself has loaded that truck(feeling better).

You again kill your self-respect and call the guy, or else ask some friend/spouse/parents to talk and things repeats in viscous circle. Same answers, suddenly your tube light clicks and you asked for drier number, he’ll reply I’ll call back and TADA, he again has stopped picking your phone.

Day 17 – 22

You start worrying and decided that you’ll cut the amount; you have half of the payment left with you(Ah now I’ll show them). You again start persuading with them politely. They again started making fool of you.

Day 23

You called and hurrah, he gave you driver’s number this time, after few seconds of happiness when again your tube light clicks.

OMG does it mean the truck has started now. Come-on you can not think any thing else. Do you?

You called the driver and he confessed that he started last night, and he finally certified your experience by quoting that they guys are liar and he’ll reach in 3-4 days.

Day 28

You get a call from local office that your goods have arrived and they are delivering them, you are all set to deduct the amount. Truck arrived and parked in front of your apartment and he asked you for money first, denied your request to first upload the stuff, warning you that they’ll take it back otherwise. You gave them money to sort things fast and than they asked for additional 200 Rs for some toll tax which you are bound to pay.  On top of it they’ll ask you for tip also. Height; right?

They start uploading the stuff & you found that 90-95% of stuff is in good shape(good news) but there are some scratches, some cracked crockery. It is time to claim insurance. Correct? After all you paid for it. NO THERE IS NO INSURANCE DONE. you can not do anything as they got complete money beforehand. They fooled you again.

The "YOU" mentioned in this review is yours truly and it is based on real experience and situation was not funny at all. If you are bully in your destination area you may control them but for a conman man, better keep distance or take the time line as one month when they tell you 1 week.

This is in reference to pathetic and horrifying experience withprofessional packers and movers.i was moving from hyd to hosur on23/12/2008 .thaey packed evrything and told that it will be deliverednext day or day after.but to my horror they delivered on the 27/12/2008after 100 phone calls to them .

1. they dont lift there calls

2.every time they say goods will be delivred withi 1/2 hr

They are so misearble there is no proper service its pathetic finallywehen the goods arrived the bike stand and the dome was broken.as theydelivred on 27/12/2008 at 10pm I chekd on 28/12/2008 in morning sundaythe bike stand broke and the micro wave was horribly packed that thesticker of professional pcakers was stamped on it.and the goods arrivedfrom bangalore in a matador truck without cover open.

When I calltheir hyd office they are saying we never insure bike only goods .wheni have in writing that the bike is insured .When I ask them aboutinsurance one mr mukesh is telling me you buy a new one and fix it foryouself and cross questioning me and the marketing executive mr subashwill never pick my calls WASTE B*STARDS

Alas !! I could have gone through the reviews first and then could have availed their service !!

Here is what my horrifying experience with Professional Mvrs& Pckrs :

• I booked my household items and car (from B'glore to Vadodara) with PPM (PROFESSIONAL Packrs & Mvrs) on 5th of April , 09 and as every one can guess I settled for a lower price !!

They charged 21k for house hold items and 5k for my car !! (does sound stupendous eh !)

On the other hand Agarwal pcks & Mvrs was asking 14k only for car !! That 5k per car enticed me and that was the trap I guess. Inclusive of tax it came to Rs 5, 800/- still cheaper compared to that of Agarwal.

I got my car on time as demanded, but I had to go to their sub-contractor's warehouse. (that's when I came to know that they don't have one at Baroda, but while giving quotation they had said that they have warehouse/office at Baroda !!). I saw many damages on my 2yr old Swift.The one at rear right quarter panel was pathetic and looks like somebody has thrashed it to another vehicle !! The most horrible thing was when I checked the ododmeter the meter reading was 12, 856 kms (at the time of packing the odo reading was 12, 252kms !!)

That means bas*ards (please don't mind my language here) had driven my car for 600kms for their personal use !!! When I enquired about that they said it can't happen like that , at the max they would have driven 20 to 30 kms for transferring from my house to their warehouse. To my further enquery they said, to keep the battery out of exhaust they might have done that....How stupid it is it was there with them only for 15 days....

In addition to that some of my household items also got damaged...i had opted for their own insurance and when I tried calling the contact person, they said he had left the job and they are not liable for claim !! I might have done 50 odd calls to them but some how they are avoiding and would be saying we would call you back after talking to our higher authority and all those crap....

All in all they are a worst managed packrs company.

My advice never ever make a deal with them....

Professional is the worst packers & movers of all...Most unprofessional...they charged 10% insurance...they broke my T.V from Inside..they broke the circuit board..must have thrown my T.V. from the truck. .

I did a mistake..I didnt check..when I took cable TV and checked..TV didnt work..Mechanic found broken circuit board..They flatly refused Insurance money even though I had paid around 1500 Rs. for Insurance. They said ..Go do whatever U want...Go to Consumar Court, etc...very very RUDE . The way they said this..I feel like shooting them....

Recently I used this company to shift my household goods from Mumbai to Delhi. I was really nightmare for me to deal with them. They quoted lowest price and gave tall promises.

My problem started from the time they landed in house to pack the goods. After horrifying experience in packing I was still waiting worst to happen with me in Delhi for unloading, unpacking & arranging the goods. They started blackmailing before offloading the goods.

They scattered all my goods here & there collected money forcibly without completing the job. Threatened me all sort of nonsense. They sent me fake fax copy of Insurance. They did not do 50% of the jobs as promised while quoting. It was really a very bad experience with such people.

I advise to spread the words against them and let people know the unethical practices used by these people. I thinks we must write to consumer forum and take action againt all their unethical practices. Let someone advise me steps to be taken, I will file case against them.

I used the service to move the products fm Pune to Hyd. Since I have dealt with these people I have developed high BP...its like a nightmare for me. They quoted me the lowest price. Once my stuff loaded they started charging me one after another.

They have not delivered the complete stuff yet. for e.g bike w/o key, no crockeries, vessel racks..worst part is the suitcases carrying all certificates of me and my wife.. Whtever delivered half of them broken. Unnecessarily octrai charges, no insurance ( some own faulty insurance), ill behaviour, ill response thats called professional cargo...Hope some leadership or executive reading this..if not please customers read this and never approach them.

And height is when you ask them they say as if I am dealing for the first time. Tell me one thing in this recessio time who is having time to deal with these irresponsible people. I cannot wish them good fm my heart.One tips for the people have already taken the service, please count your stuff properly...they dont put all in the list like Suitcases, single chairs, baby toys, vessel racks etc.

I used the services of this horrible packers and movers to get my bike from Chennai to Mumbai. I had booked it on 1st June, 08 and they had told that the bike will be delivered worst case by 5th June, 08. They asked me to ensure the bike against any breakage which I did. They told me that the Insurance premium will be 1% of the total cost of the bike which I estimated to be 60K. they took 600 from me and added tax. The original quotation was 3500 which after adding everything swelled upto 5K.

My bike did not reach until 14th June and that too after getting help from some highly placed relatives. I literally had to threaten them to deliver the bike. First they said that the truck has not yet arrived and that u have not buked the entire truck. The truck gets loaded completely and then only it would come. Then they stopped it outside Mumabi and kept it there for 3 days telling that I will need to pay the octroi which is about 6% of the bike cost else they will leave the bike at the octroi naka and I will have to collect it from there myself.

Somehow I did manage to get my bike but they had mishandled it and the bike was thron around. The fuel tank has a dent, the view mirrors are all gone and the handle is broken. I told them to reimburse the repair cost to which they had initially told that 80% will be reimbursed. Now I have sent them the estimate from a mechanic, They say whatever insurance u took is the transit insurance and we are not responsible for any breakage repair. To add insult to injury they shout and tell me to behave and to do anything I can do.

I have suffered a lot especially because my bike is just an year old and I like it very much. I am making use of this oppurtunity to warn people against using the services of this horrendous and horrible movers and packers. Its better to send the bike through train which I had initially tought would be more harassing but I have learnt my lesson the hard way. Urge u all to check the credibility of the service provider before entrusting with them ur stuffs.

I used the service of  Professional packers and movers to move from bangalore to hyderabad.

They are very unethical. Their trick is to offer you a lesser rates. Do not fall for this trick.

They quoted 11000 Rs. and I agreed. Their insurance is also on their own company name and not a reputed insurance company insurance.

On  the day of packing, they packed everything and loaded into the movement truck. After loading they said that I should pay 1500 rs. extra or they wont move the goods and will drop the goods then and there and said they dont care wat was earlier agreed. I then paid up the money as I had no other immediate options and due to other prior commitments.

After payment also, they made me run after them from end to end to get my goods for 15 days. I then asked one relative of mine who is influential to intervene and only then they promptly delivered the goods.

Do not use their service ever. They are unprofessional, unethical and never care for customers.

Dear Friends, I am new to this forum and have found it useful for the voice that it provides for a common cause to improve standards of services received by the consumers. And to this please let me share my experience of abysmal standard of services I have receied(from Professional Packers and Movers): I have taken their services for shifting my goods from Bangalore to Gurgoan(Consignment no. 2367) on 25th Oct.07.

I have suffered lot of harassment since then: 1. The quotation given to me was of Rs.16000/- inclusive of service tax and excluding insurance. But their Marketing officer(Ajay) promised to cut down the total cost to Rs.15000/- if I book immediately within one day. I took the offer and booked my goods and asked Ajay to give me a written confirmation of the order on phone stating the revised amount from Rs.16000 to Rs.15000/-. Ajay said it is not required and so I trusted him…but after the packing of goods, their manager at Bangalore told me that Rs.15000/- is agreed excluding service tax and I have to pay the tax as otherwise they will unpack the and go…I have to cough up additional Rs.1000/- over and above the agreed amount to ensure further process of loading of my goods 2. I took insurance cover for Rs.50000/- for which I was to pay premium of Rs.1500 extra.

I asked for the insurance papers before paying the amount…Professional’s team at Bangalore said that the paper will be delivered next day…I enquared next day, then they said the papers have already gone to Gurgoan and so I can pay the amount on receipt of paper in Gurgoan…when the goods reached in Gurgoan, their delivery team asked me to pay Rs.1500/- without which they will not unlaod…this was a shock to me as they said the insurance papers are in Bangalore and they can not provide it to me but I have to pay anyway.

Later on, Professional team relented and unloaded all luggages except fridge. They asked me to pay at least Rs.700/- if I want my fridge back. I said I have no issues in paying Rs.1500/- but only on recepit of insurance papers…they took away my fridge and then I kept on calling them continuously to return back the fridge…finally after 5 days they brought back the fridge on the condition that I pay the insurance amount without the papers…as I was quite harassed by then, I have to give in to take back the fridge…They have extracted insurance money from me without doing the insurance for which I have specifically put in written application to them before dispatch of goods. I and my family were deeply disturbed at the horrendous level of unprofessional service provided by Professional movers and packers.

I told them that I have to approach consumer court or police if they do not return my fridge…to this also their manager(Pawan) at Delhi was very audacious saying to me that “do whatever you want to do”. On phone, he used foul and abusive language as well…I am sure that standard of service can not fall below this level…Clearly, I have gone through unfulfilled promises, breach of trust, harassment by taking their services. Requesting members to guide me on what shall I do now to give them a strong feedback on their poor services… Regards Ravi

I had opted to use these packers.I was very glad with their service and they did a fantastic job in shifting my goods.Not even a single damage was caused to my goods.They quoted around Rs12000 and 5 people had come to do the work.Their work was clean and neat.They caused no trouble while shifting and finished their work very early.They did an excellent work.
