Prasanna Holidays, Nagpur

We are just back from our customized tour of Malaysia dated 9th May to 13th May 2010(5Days/4Nights) from Prasanna Holidays and I must share my horrible experiences with you.

Let me begin from our first day of the tour!!

We began our journey from Sahar international airport, when we went to collect our boarding passes, executive of Air Asia(Low cost airline, recently started flights from Mumbai to Kuala Lumpur) told us that we've to pay for our cargo luggage amounting to Rs.600/- for 15 Kg(Minimum) and it's not a part of your ticket. Doesn't anyone from Prasanna holidays know this that if a customer is going for a tour outside country he should be having at least one bag to be put in cargo? The ticket should be booked accordingly and customer should not be put in any trouble when at airport. At least the same should have been consulted before booking a flight ticket.

After landing at Kula lumpur Low cost carrier terminal, we had to wait for 45 mins and do international calls to people we don't know to get to know when the person is arriving to pick us up and who'll be arriving. We wasted around Rs.500/- for doing those calls.

Finally the person arrived when we called several times and said just 'Sorry for being late'. The person gave us itinerary which were changed from what we were promised by Dipti of Prasanna Holidays. He had a itinerary of some local agent travel office booked by Prasanna. We had a trouble with that as it was not good and there were several time wastage in that itinerary. We were not given any time for shopping and was put up at Genting Highlands for 3 days which were not worth of those many days.

At Kuala Lumpur, We were put in Grand Continental hotel which was good. The next morning as per changed itinerary we had to depart for Genting Highlands at 9AM but the taxi booked by Local agent came late at 9.45AM, wastage of 45 min!! Reason was driver had to carry other passengers too who were going to Genting and they made him late. Excuse could not agree too!!

At Genting Highlands, days were Okay, hotel was good.

We had to depart Genting Highlands on 12th May at 12PM but again we were delayed by 1 hr which resulted in less time for shopping and city tour. Delay was because of other people who were also to come with us booked by local agent came late. This is sheer nonsense, why were we made to suffer when we booked a customized tour, why we had to depend on other people and their time? We should be given an independent taxi and that said timing should be stick to.

Finally, we had a very less time for shopping and couldn't buy anything, overall Prasanna is a miserable failure as a tour company and they should stick to local Volvo and inter city travel bus business in Maharashtra.
