I am using pockets by ICICI bank. This application is very use full. All you need to download this from playstore and u will get registered there on after completion u are ready to use this .

Main advantage of this application is that it will provide you a free virtual saving account  and a virtual debit card verified by visa with validity of 1 year.

Your virtual debit card will have 16 digit card no and   exp date and CVv no . You can use this details for making any POS . online transaction . You can top up your wallet through other account details . Limitation is 10000 only As per RBI rules .

Be Careful u can use this virtual card to for online transaction only . You can also apply for physical card while paying 114 ruppes .u can get a card  alrhough this card is a visa card  yet u can not use in any atm card . be careful Money can not be withdrawn from account .

I have found ICICI Bank products very commendable, and based on the belief that ICICI Pockets will be good too, decided to give it a try.

First and foremost, ICICI Pockets is not handled by the ICICI Bank team. I learnt it the hard way when I initiated fund transfer from my ICICI Savings A/C to my ICICI Pockets A/C. The amount got deducted from my Savings A/C but did not get credited to my Pocket's A/C.

What followed was a painful experience. I called up the Savings A/C Customer Care and they said that Pockets is handled by another team. They confirmed that the money has been successfully deducted from the savings A/C but they cannot help any further as they cannot view my ICICI Pockets A/C details.

I then called up the Pockets team and they could not give me any conclusive information as they cannot view my ICICI Savings bank A/C details, but can only view the Pocket A/C details. They confirmed that my ICICI Pockets A/C has not received any money.

There seems to be this huge gap between the two teams.

I finally touched base with my ICICI Bank Relationship Manager who took another three days to get this issue rectified. Seems that there was a technical fault due to which the payment got stuck midway.

These days being one of instant payment, it seems strange that the ICICI Pockets payment system is yet to be mature enough. It is promising with its offer of a physical card and mobile wallet, but all in all seems to be a long way to go to be counted as a reliable mobile payment system.

Verdict: Will wait and watch!

It is really a innovative way to introduce such a wallet which can be used as prepaid credit card and it is safe as it is protected by Visa secure payment gateway and as we know visa is seceured payment gate way.i like its variety in adding money option . I also get cash back of 50 rs on adding of rs 250. it is also good . and from here one can send money to bank at minimal charges.

I applied for physical card which can be used anywhere for shopping filling and on any online site as it works exactly like pre paid credit card and had no issue regarding this .and there is instant chat option and instant free customer call centre which help 24 hours except chat service it is avaiable for 8.00 to 20.00 hrs.so overall a good pre paid card without hassle and secured by VISA.

POCKETS the new wallet service of ICICI bank is campaigning high asking people to download their app instead of taking load to pay for bills.

Now you go for paying your bill through it, they are asking the pockets card number which is a card available only after payment of rs 100/- to them. LOADing money to your wallet itself will not suffice!!!

So you have to pay 100 rs more first in order to avail the LOAD FREE POCKETS service for first time in spite of the fact that your wallet is already LOADed with cash!!! When you going thru the APP itself they are saying “this service is still not available now”!!!

How can a wallet service ask for extra charge for paying bills where other rivals in the market offering discount or cashback? I think it is a campaign of ICICI BANK itself rather than an wallet service.So friends!! Be careful before LAODing money to your POCKETS. HA HA!!

It is really a good effort to come across with ICICI bank pocket wallet app here one can get vertual visa credit card without any hassel I really appreciate their effort. Moreover one does not have to pay for the annual charges if he does not apply for physical card .

It has all facility to make a payment on online without any extra effort. it is so simple to load money and do what he/she wants. It has so many features such money transfer to bank account money transfer to friends wallet app.One can use it to make on line payment everywhere.

Only one thing I found that mobikwik does not accept this virtual card other than every where u can make payment on any website on any online food ordering site and also any kind of online booking site. Its payment gateway is secured by visa 3d secure gate way so dont be panic go ahead with this card

Two months ago only I got to know about ICICI Bank Pockets. So I downloaded that app,

not just as I am already using ICICI banking also because on using this app some offers going.

After downloading ICICI bank pockets from google store, it little bit confusing for me.

The registration process needs time, its long to fill. There are few positive sides plus negative sides also I have found.

Positive - Easily download, Easy sending money in just a seconds using this app, but the member whom you are sending also must be user of this app.

We can purchase shopping site's vouchers on offer or discount via this app.

Now no need to open chrome or Mozilla for doing any banking work. Runs smooth.

Negative - Just OTP problem and they are promiting this new app with lots of coupons like download it and gets CCD voucher, 50 Rupees or Free Dominoz, but ignore these coupons as at last many times there is terms and conditions.

Over all It's good app for ICICI bank user. I like to use it but not addicted still.

Useful and sometimes really saved time.

There are many wallet applications available in market, Pockets By ICICI Bank is good wallet application by ICICI Bank. I have downloaded this application before month and tried to use it, but there many flows I have found in this application so I have un istalled this application after usage of one day.

Features of Pockets By ICICI Bank

1) One wallet application that can fulfil our all requirement like bill payment and recharges as well shopping.

2) We can send money to all people who are using this application via just simple steps.

3) We can book movie tickets via this application and even can get some discount on it.

4) Any people who want ICICI bank account can apply for account and can get zero balance account with this application.

5) We can get many deals via this application as well can purchase gift voucher.

Flows of the App

1) Application have login issue and getting some time errors for login.

2) Some time application not able to detect internet and we unable to connect.

3) some time application giving force stop and we can not open it

4) OTP take lot of time to arrive and we need to wait for it.

Final Words

I have used this application and tried to use it, but due to problems I have un itstalled this application. Concept of the application is good but there many flows in application, I do not recommending this application to people if they not improve the app.

Got to know about pockets on ICICI Bank's official site and I downloaded the app because it was offering good offers. After the app was downloaded I started to continue with the registeration process which was very long . it fells like an FBI officer is asking for your personal details. At last stage of registeration I landed on a page which asked me to choose my username. I tried 100's of different usernames which also fulfilled their conditions but to everything I type it said " Sorry this username is taken. Try another ".

After alot of try's I had to close the app. Then I tried reopening / re downloading the app and again continue with the login/signup process . I was just stuck. If I click create a account  it said user already registered. If I try login and choose option to recover username a error appears. I visited their website and contacted their customer support. Which is probably the worst in the world and people sitting in their headquarters are no more than novices. I told them about whole issue . and they just kept on replying like illiterates and took over 1 week to reply. Their final reply was after 1 month. In which they said we are working on it and we regret our inability to help you. Kindly call our support. I was just shocked at this foolishness. Well I dont think it would taker over more than 1 month to fix a minor issue.

I would never take risk of risking my bank information on such irresponsible people. I would recommend not to download their app just for few sizzling offers. I think it is mere a trap. Their support gonna take minimum 7 days or more to reply to your ticket. They also dont take any customer reviews seriously. I read reviews of many people on the app store later and discovered many were also facing issues.
