Platter, Beliaghata, Kolkata

WELL THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST FINE RESTAURANTS I HAVE COME ACROSS IN THE RECENT PAST TO BE TRUE.GREAT FOOD,GREAT PLACE,GREAT LIGHTNING,GREAT CARE IS WHAT YOU CAN VERY EASILY GET HERE.THE PLACE IS FOR CERTAIN VERY GOOD AND YOU DO HAVE A LOT OF CHOICES TO CHOOSE FROM AS WELL.THE PRICE POINT IS QUITE FINE I MUST ADMIT AND THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL.THERE ARE FOOD FROM ALL REGIONS AND OF ALL TYPES OF COURSE.YOU WILL SURELY MISS THE FOOD HERE.

This one goes out for my vegetarian friends.As mentioned in my prior reviews that since I was residing at a friends place last weekend I got to try out some new and good restaurants out here but the one I was really impressed with goes by the name "Platter" which is not exactly located at beliaghata but near Barsana Club which is at Kankurgachi.It is a COMPLETE VEGETARIAN restaurant / cafe.

-The ambiance was good but what was really interesting was the menu, each page consisted of a nice quotation right at the bottom which was something nice and unique.The place is nicely decorated and maintained.Neat and clean environment, properly operating AC and the customers we're being handled nicely.Good sofa chairs and nicely maintained table.

-The food to offer here is continental and Indian mainly. From what I understood the main concentration was on CORN, PANEER and PASTA.Variety of baby corn and corn items and a lot more of variety in Pasta and paneer.Since we we're there for a quick brunch we ordered  VEG LASAGNE, 2 cold coffee and yes I wanted to try DARSHAAN(Chinese delicacy, ice cream and something close to JALEBI maybe).The coffee was nicely, finely done as I wanted, the plate was darshaan was good in taste but the quantity was very less.Barely 2 small scoops of ice cream and the extra scoop was chargeable and the darshaan was less as well.And the lasagne was less in quantity too.From what I understood the price of the food is moderate and the quality is really good as well but the quantity is pretty less.Over all the service was nice, the staff were humble and polite with us and the over all experience was nice.
