Hird class advertisement...


No words for the theme... and more over the agency think as if like we all are idiots and stupid. pathetic man! even a below average agency could do justice and I am ashamed


to see this stupidity. May be PEPSI has a lot of money to shed for such


nonsense advertisments now.

Believe JWT did this AD!!!??? The agency guys built up our curiosity


level as to what is pepsi channel and we really believed that theres


another channel coming up....but after blowing the bubble they actually


burst it by saying pepsi ke saath jo bhi channel dekho thats pepsi


Tv...rubbish...how could a star like Shahrukh agree for acting in such


a foolish Ad!!!


Moreover What Bubbly Sounds like....sounds


good for some detergent or bubble gum...."yaak" for a soft drink..i


used to like pepsi but bubbly makes it disgusting...Make it something


drinkable yaar!! For products such as Pepsi, it isn’t necessary whether


the ad makes brilliant sense or not. These kinda ads simply instil


immediate recollection even if it is by brute force.


Well as


far as people remember the product (& NO, no one is going to stop


drinking pepsi cause they have a terrible ad), work done! But still, as


a viewer the AD is terrible. JWT please understand creativity cannot be


replaced by Celebs.

Well ok to do add. the basic problem of he advertisement was that they cold not execute it ina proper fashion so it failed in connecting with audience.instead of having the top models acting for the channel they could have shown why a common man should purchase the product and what are its usp. whats it thst , that connects with the public there was no emotional commendation.

I think one advertisement this year that takes the cake for being misleading and bad at the same time is definately the pepsi tv commercial as it not only cons people into believing that it is launching a tv channel backed up by false newsreports in bombaytimes(show me the money) but its content is also bad specially in that cricket commercial


concept


this ad campaign by jwt basically want to show the concept of togetherness of pepsi and tv .the commercial had srk,priyanka and kareena in it. in the first commercial of the series it had srk trying to adjust his tv antenna so that he can receive pepsi tv but as turns out it is basically combination of drinking pepsi while watching tv as it is shown latter that priyanka and kareena as hot pepsi girls make srk drink pepsi while he is watching tv.the commercial had build up a good secrecy around the product but in the end it turned out to be a damp squib while in second series it shows the antics of three cricket obsessed men who do the same thing as their hero does on the screen and it then has priyanka appearing out of no where whistling for pepsi and the pepsi cart crashes through the window.the commercial is highly illogical as well as slapstick.
