I considered PayTm as a reliable service provider till I encountered my first problem with them.
I made payment to IRCTC for train tkts through PayTm. Though money immediately got deducted from my bank account, but was not recd by IRCTC and hence no tkts were issued to me.
IRCTC confiremed of failed transactions. Then I tried to contact PayTm customer care. I was shocked to learn that neither there was any Toll free no to contact them nor any e mail id. Can any body imagine in 21st Century and digital India, no way to contact to any executive and place the issue for resolution.
Somewhow, by going round about could be able to raise a tkt no 3352048657, on the issue.
One executive contacted after providing lot of information in the chat. He after listening the issue from the begining, assured of referring to wallet dept of PayTm, though money was paid to PayTm through my debit card. But he assured that in all cases such money first go to PayTm wallet and then from there it is transferred to the receipient.
I felt satisfied with his assurance. However few minutes after talk with him, I got one more shock when I received a message that my issue tkt has been closed as matter resolved. However Matter is still open.
CAN ANY BODY THINK A PROVIDER LIKE PAYTM WITHOUT ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
I APPEAL ALL PAYTM CUSTOMERS TO BE BEWARE OF SUCH APPS WHO DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CUSTOMER CARE.
I APPEAL TO OUR GOV TOO TO MAKE IT MANADATORY FOR ALL SERVICE PROVIDERS WHETHER DIGITAL OR OTHERWISE TO PROVIDE A CUSTOMER REDRESSAL SYSTEM PROMINENTLY PUBLICISED ON THEIR PLATFORMS AND PROVIDE CONTACT DETAILS OF EXECUTIVE INCL SENIOR EXECUTIVES.
