I had to travel suddenly from Navi Mumbai to Goa in Feb 2015 for a friend's marriage. Since I did not get train tickets, I booked online on the paulo travel's website.


The bus was supposed to leave Dadar at 2.30PM and reach Kharghar at 4.30PM. I reached at 4PM near Kharghar bridge. I called the contact number and they informed that the bus will reach Kharghar by 5PM. Till 6PM no sign of the bus. After the third call, the person says the bus broke down and has not yet left Dadar. I was like WTF! At 8PM, I was told the bus has broken down and they are arranging another bus. After more than 40 calls to the Paulo's office about the bus, they turn off their phone at 10.30PM. I now start getting restless. 12.30AM and still no sign of the bus and I get the feeling that the bus will not come. I try to hitch a ride in other buses to Goa, but 2 buses told me they were full.


Then finally at 1.30AM the bus comes. Arguing with the driver and conductor was useless. Came to know from other passengers that they too went through the same ordeal of waiting at Dadar and worse part is, this bus would now be going via Kolhapur/Pune to Goa. Again shocked! At 2AM, the bus stops for refueling at Panvel and the driver picks up a fight with a truck driver. More time lost. Then it moves after 30 mins. At 4AM bus breaks down at a ghat near Kolhapur. All people are pissed off. They call in their mechanic at this hour and he arrives somehow. At 5.30AM bus moves but cannot change gears beyond the 1st. We slowly make our way to the Pune office of Paulo travels at 7.30AM hoping that another bus would be there to take us to Goa. But no! We had to wait till 9AM till our broken scrap bus was repaired. After breaking down again twice, I finally reached Panaji at 6PM. So thats like over 27 hours of torture by Paulo. The most tortured were the elderly and infants during this insane long journey. But we were thankful to the driver and conductor who did more than they needed to, to get us safely to Goa in Paulo's tin can.


Never again in my life will I travel by Paulo travels and I advice fellow passengers also not to opt for Paulo's. I prefer to get crushed in the general compartment of Konkan Kanya/Mandovi Exp.


Do not take Paulo or its partner buses - Volvo ??

We were coming from Goa to Mumbai - 27th May night.Very bad choice to go and select Paulo A/C Volvo bus service 2x2 . I booked through redbus.in


The bus was not Paulo in first place, it was citizen. Why did Paulo is marketing or doing tie ups, their own reputation goes down and I booked just because of Paulo name only.


It came late by 30 minutes. Nobody at Paulo knew anything as to when bus would come except the name Citizen.


Our seats got changed and were very uncomfortable, when we asked our original seats, we were refused.


The cleaner was fighting with pax because he was talking  loudly till midnight and stopping at every point till midnight to pick pax and discussing rates, so was this Volvo? Do these buses stop and shout Mumbai, Mumbai non stop? and than fight and do mandvali with pax over rates? one pax said he does not need last seats was asked to get down and be dropped and returned the money with heated works exchange. When bus passengers objected he said he has to stop for pax because these were the points for pickups, which was a lie as we all saw he was taking money and discussing rates, later they all were distributing money among themselves and cribbing over 100 rs here and there.


Pl do not take Paulo bus service because:you would not know till last minute what bus might come no friendly staff the bus does not stop if the person is sick and vomiting(in our case it happened) staff just ask rudely that pl vomit in bags otherwise you clean it yourself. Rude behavior of staff towards everybody


Temp pax boarded and sat on ground.This was no way A/C Volvo Paulo bus I had heard about. I happen to see the buses and staff of vrllogistics and it seemed nice, do not have experience though.I will be putting an article and blogs for this incident next week.


Hope so u guys realize someday when u start loosing business.

Do not ever book bus from paolo travels. The worst bus experience I ever had, they charge 2400 for ac sleeper from hyd to goa and it took 18 hrs to reach goa, service is morpheushumanrrible, no respect for ladies, these b@st@rds did not stop the bus even for pregnant lady's emergency request, she could have tripped over .


My sincere suggestion is never opt paulo travels .note: ladies dont ever travel alone with paolo travels

Travelled in Paulo in March 2015.Worst volvo service to goa. The ac doesnt work. All the passengers reprted. The staff was getting angry telling bus is already late.


It reached 3 hrs late. Evryone thought of even peeing on the bus for such a bad behaviour from the staff.

I had happily reserved Mumbai - Goa - Mumbai bus tickets with Paulo Travels - Goa in January 2014. The trip had taken weeks of planning and we were excited for it.


Their prices also seemed reasonable when compared to other service providers. So I booked the return journey bus tickets through redBus.in


2 days before the journey we received an SMS from Paulo Travels that the bus in which we had booked our tickets has been cancelled. The SMS contained very little information and just mentioned that the bus was cancelled.


We had to search their number from internet and even after that they were not picking up the calls. After repeatedly calling some one picked up but was not very helpful or provided any solutions.


The customer support was pathetic and they were not even ready to discuss any alternate arrangements. They simple left us to fend for ourselves.


Thanks to redBus.in that out entire ticket amount was refunded for that specific bus journey.


We are not in position to make any other travel arrangements that quickly. Due to this we had to cancel our trip(and hotel booking too).


We lost alot of money during cancellation of return bus tickets and hotel bookings in Goa.


They did not even refund full amount of return ticket since that bus was not cancelled.


Now how will we use the return ticket if you never took us there in the first place?


I will never trust or try Paulo Travels - Goa ever again.


Bad and unapologetic service. Avoid at all costs!

I read somewhere it is since 1930. So choose it with more then 85 yrs old. But not expected that electricity point will be of before 1930.


Thouroughly disappointed with it "Paulo travels". Neeta travels till now, has never disappointed me. Next time it will be easy for me to choose my travel partner.

We have booked 7 tickets from goa to pune, it's my bad luck I didn't checked the reviews before choosing this hectic bus. They didn't even provide blankets which is min requirement for AC buses even they are charging for it.


Never ever will travel in this stupid bus again

One of the worst travel service I experienced in my life. I booked 2 tickets from goa to mumbai bus left from goa 7.30pm they provide blanket but charrged Rs. 70.


In mid night around 2.00am at kolhapur cleaner come  to birth and told bus is failed n we are shifting to other bus in mid night we wake and carry all luggage to another bus in which bus they give us last upper birth which was uncomfortable n disturb over night sleep they shifted only 4 members from.


Worst thing is that from which bus they shifted us that bus was behind us n come to Mumbai. Driver n cleaner for money took 6 to 8 passengers from kolhapur. So never try to dare to travel  by paulo travels. Cheating the passenger's.

I have never written any reviews, I want to write this to help others not to experience such a bad travel like us, Please skip the Paulo Sleeper, they say it is king size bed etccc.it is a real bullshit bus to travel. It doesn't have any shock absorbers, and small turn will make you to move from one side of the bed to the other side and single beds are really worst.


We have booked an upper berth single and whole night I have been praying god to make us to reach destination safe. I would suggest not to go with the name and the best thing to travel to Goa would be a good semi sleeper Volvo from good travelers rather than such a stupid Paulo sleeper

Most unorganized travels. No blankets provided in the bus.about 2-3 hours late departure than given time in the ticket.


Please do not prefer this travels for goa .You will get frustrated by the service.


But drivers are Co operative as they stopped the bus for washroom.

VERY VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.


I had booked twice from red bus- a non AC Sleeper bus tickets of Paulo Travels. First time, from Kudal to Mumbai and second time from Kolhapur to Mumbai.


Both the times, I had worst experience in terms of delay in schedule departure which affected my another days connecting flights.


Every time, Paulo Travels shows POOR AND WORST MANAGEMENT. In terms of arranging another bus due to their failure and in terms of delays and cancellation. They do not bother to discuss about re-arrangement and refund.


On the other hand, Redbus.in phone lines are useless at the time of emergencies. After struggling for long hours, they call back and say sorry for inconvenience instead of rearrangement of journey.


Recently On 7/12/14, I had a reservation in Paulo travel’s Non Ac Sleeper scheduled Departure from Kolhapur at 8:00 Pm.


After reporting the designated head office of Paulo Travel, it was known that the Timings given on tickets booked from Redbus are wrong and the bus will depart from Kolhapur at 1:30 am, which means 5:30 hours late.


But, in actual bus departed from Kolhapur towards Mumbai around 3:10 am  that is total 7 hours late. I reached Mumbai around 10:30 am next day. This is ridiculous .


I WILL NOT RECOMMEND REDBUS BOOKING AND PAULO TRAVELS FOR ANY PASSENGERS.

Shitty Bus Ever!

This bus from Goa - Bangalore, had everything wrong about it right from the start. First of all the pick-up point given to us was wrong. We were asked to go to another pick up point(by the lady at their travel counter) which was another 15 mins away by cab and unfortunately none of the numbers she gave worked for contacting the pick-up van guy.


We dialled the number on the bus booking e-mail, which led to someone who either did not understand what we were asking for or was too bothered to help. He gave us a supervisor's number who had no clue why we were calling him and started blaming us for not going to the right point! This was least expected as they were the ones who gave us the pick-up point details through RedBus.


Somehow we reached the point where the pick-up van was waiting which sat there waiting for other passengers for close to an hour as obviously everyone had gone to the point the bus asked us to come to. Once we reached the main bus-stand of Panjim, it took another 45 mins for the main bus to show up. This was a classic example of Indian timing as they think all of us have no better job than waiting for them. Truly disappointing!


If this wasn't enough, we boarded the bus and instantly a strong smell of the fuel hit us. It was completely unbearable to stay there for a few minutes, imagine about spending 12 hours in it, without falling sick! Upon enquiry the driver told us that they had just filled the tank and after 50 kms the smell will subside, which never happened, even after 100 kms the smell still remained. We somehow managed to adjust by shifting in the back-seat where the impact was lesser. While we just managed to recuperate from the discomfort caused so far, we found that there were no blankets on the seats. Again we had to get up and ask the helpers in the bus who told us out-rightly that we do not provide blankets and if you need one then pay for it and we will hand it over to you. This was totally obnoxious! How can an AC bus, sleeper that too, not provide blankets? And they also had the audacity to ask for money to use them? This was way too much to handle. As we spoke, the bus made its next stop for other passengers to be picked up and one of the supervisors from Paulo Travels got in. We asked him very politely as to why there were no blankets provided, to which he started yelling at us saying that don't you read the instructions while booking the bus. He said Paulo has been running from last ten years and we never provided blankets. I told him that I have travelled to Goa from Hyderabad about 5 years back and we did get a blanket. To this, he replied yes we provide blankets in Hyderabad route. Could you believe it?! The guy contradicted his own statement right there and with no regret in his voice. We saw that there was no point in arguing with him so we told him to provide blankets and we will pay for them. He mumbled something obscene and left.


In the morning, when we were crossing the Bangalore airport road, they told us that Race Course ground is the last stop and Koramangala(which is where we wanted to get down and was listed as one of the drop points in REDBus) would not be covered. Besides being 2 hours late from the appointed arrival time, these guys did not even want to drop us to the point which we selected based on our convenience. Totally disastrous!


This by far was the most uncomfortable journey ever, with no punctuality, badly smelling bus, least courteous staff and false information regarding drop points. I am not sure whom to blame - Redbus which showed us the incorrect listings of pick-up and drop points or Paulo Travels which anyway we don't have any expectations from. One thing is for sure, we are never going to use this travel ever and would recommend the same to our friends and relatives too. For RedBus, I think you have lost our trust. May be we will choose make my trip or any other travel site going fwd. We feel misled and cheated for our money and time.

Took the sleeperbus from Hampi to Goa.


After only 20 minutes we had a long break, talk about waste of time. The bus cost more than any other bus I've taken in India and it was an old filthy A/C bus where there were torn curtains. A/C couldn't be regulated, no lights for reading and on top of all diesel had leaked in the luggage-area and my backpack got drained in diesel!


Thank you Paulo!


The bus was supposed to go to Mapusa, but when we got to Panjim we had to go off.

I had booked Paulo travels from Pune to goa on 2nd oct. Bus timing mentioned was 10.30pm from pune n will arrive Margao at 8.18am. but it was not as per timing mentioned. the driver was very rude  & when I called their paulo office they are saying that its impossible to reach by 8.30 am in Margao. they provide fake timings just to attract passengers.


Talking about seats, I was travelling in Non-AC sleeper. berths are very small for 2 people. other travels have better berths compared to this. will never prefer this travels again.

Traveling from goa to mumbai. Bus condition is not good. Ac is not working properly. Somewhere in the middle tyre got punctured. T


he worst thing is blankets are charged for 70 rs. And there is no mention of this in the ticket. When staff was asking for money, people opposed and hot discussions happened which should not if they respect customers. There was an army person in our bus who opposed this charging for blankets and staff made big drama on this. Finally staff had to agree and gave blankets for free. I dont think I will travel again by this service.

You will surely find out worst things about them in the other mentioned posts, but the best I think was their safety standards. All except the night driver sleeps and if he dozes, you are in lap of gods .


Nothing else to say, but if you want to get the learning experience of how one can be fooled, do travel with Paulo.

Bus condition is not good. Staff is rude and totally illelitrate. Blanket is charged extra. I wish I could give negative ratings. Plz go for any other operator but don't go for paulo.


No lights in cabin, charger point does not work. While going goa I took gogte konduskar bus, the journey was comfortable. They did not switch off the a/c when bus halts for lunch/dinner.

Would want no one should suffer the experience of Paulo Travels. I heard it was the worst, still thought let me go with family with high end volvo that is Multiaxle sleeper last week. Oh my god when entered the whole bus was stinking and dirty, vomitting feel. Bus condition was very worst inside. attached some pics. Apart from that there was used condom have not put the picture here.


This is an AC bus and they dont provide water and Blanket. They will increase the AC I believe during mid of travel and you all have to pay 70 INR to get the blanket.

I Jayalakhmi Kulkarni, travelled by Paulo Travels Volvo Semi Sleeper on 30th May 2014 from Belgaum to Hyderabad. I booked my seat on Paulo travels through Hegade travels and my seat was no. 30. I booked this seat as a ladies seat. I was assured that seat 31 will be given to only a lady or or will be kept vacant. I boarded the bus from Belgaum Ramdev Hotel.  To my surprise seat no. 31 was not given to a lady and it was embarrassing to me to travel . I protested against it, but my protest  went in vain. The staff of the bus didnt know how to talk to a lady, in one word rude. They told me to travel in the same seat  or else shift to the last row or pay  another 1500/-   I did not have any option and shifted to the last seat with utmost protest and informed my spouse at Hyderabad. He talked to Hyderabad and Belgaum People Assif and Rizwan respectively and at around 11.45 they changed my bus to sleeper, as one sleeper was vacant,  I must say thanks to these two gentlemen. At least they had the courtesy to do some thing, but being a lady why I should be disturbed at 11 45 again ? Why they did not keep the promise? Next day my husband spoke to Paulo travels officer Mr. Santosh,  even he did not bother. We are planning to go to Consumer court and we are processing this, IF YOU ARE A SINGLE LADY THEN BETTER DO NOT TRAVEL BY PAULO TRAVELS. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. JUST SHARING WITH YOU. Legal process is on.

Worst Ever Bus Operator!

I was travelling back from Goa to Bangalore by their AC sleeper Volvo multi axle night bus with my family. The experience was just horrible.




  1. Air was not coming from the A/c vent but from the speaker. (which you cannot control or regulate).




  2. In the middle of the journey, it started raining and water was coming inside the cabin. Whole bed of the bus was wet, when we asked the conductor he asked us to wait for some time and he shall see what may be done.






After sometime, some manager sort of person from the travels came and he said to me that if you have problems with our bus you may move down from the bus and do not speak anything now else he shall throw us down the bus with my family. At the best he said either we accommodate or we get down from the bus and nothing else.


This bus service is horrible, they did not even care about a kid of 7 months, who was travelling with me. Will suggest that no one take this bus for travels anywhere.
