Patanjali country cow ghee is like amrit. We can not trust the cow ghee which is available in markets. It may harm instead of benefit. Patanjali cow ghee is ultimate in its pure quality and is advantageous to your whole family.I presume here that by “pure” you mean legally, it has no additives added and does not contain pesticides / heavy metals etc. Whereas, it is actually “butter oil” you are talking about, not Ghee.
Ghee is what your grand mother makes at home. All large-scale players are selling butter oil in the name of ghee, since our legal experts have coined that name without asking their grandmothers as to how ghee is made.
Anyway, till we establish a proper “trace back mechanism” right upto the dairy animal be it cow( Indian or crossbred) or buffalo) and follow it right upto packing of the milk and milk products, it is IMPOSSIBLE to say whether any milk or milk product sold is PURE or made from the milk of a particular animal.
As rightly pointed out by Sandeep, all dairy plants including now cooperatives are out sourcing their milk procurement operations to small traders and prefer to purchase milk( raw or chilled) in bulk rather than from individual farmers. As a result, the crucial link for trace back mechanism gets broken. In fact, big players including cooperatives have gone in for large-scale outsourcing of the entire procurement and manufacturing operations like MNCs producing soaps/tooth paste/coffee etc. by all and sundry. Only the name is theirs. They care little about relationship building and repeat purchase. Marketing is the name of the game today.
Any bulking of a “commodity” like milk and milk products is NOT amenable to marketing as a “product” however pious the dairy company may be, at least as of now, without using a systematic and dynamic trace-back mechanism. In fact, dairy animals in India do not even have a proper identification system to link the milk produced by it to a unique source.
Further, with the emphasis on feeding of balanced concentrate feeds which contain pesticide / weedicide sprayed cereals, oilseed cakes, etc. invariably results in milk which contains traces of these harmful chemicals as well as heavy metals, which can be harmful to health. This is apart from what they may be “adding” as additives.
Firstly, cow milk is adulterated with diluted buffao milk. Further, milk from all types and breeds of cows be it Indian or foreign are all mixed together and called “COW” milk, though they are different. Milk from Indian cows and buffaloes is A2 type milk whereas milk from foreign breeds is A1 type milk.
