Refrigerator not working !!
May 17, 2012 01:00 PM 13079 Views

I had purchased this Panasonic refrigerator on 16-March-2012. I had complained just 2 days after the installation that the cooling was not sufficient in the refrigerator. The bottom (freezer) section was okay but the top section was not sufficiently cool.

Panasonic had send a technician who changed some settings and told us that the cooling will be better after this. Things did not improve much and we continued using the fridge for about 2 months.

On 11-May-2012 we again complained as we saw that the cooling had reduced further. Again, Panasonic sent a technician to check. The technician informed that there was a problem in gas supply to the upper section of the fridge and the refrigerator will have to be replaced. He told us that he will report this and we will hear from Panasonic in 1 day. I waited for 2 days and then made several phone calls on the helpline number.

I was given the number of a Branch Service In-charge of our area. I called him and he told  that he will send another technician to repair the fridge as Panasonic does not replace refrigerator. He was saying that he will recharge the gas and then it will start working; this seems like a temporary solution to me.

Now (16-May-2012) the refrigerator is completely dead, even the LED indicator are not working. Panasonic has still not sent any technician instead of my repeated calls.

I will not advise anyone to buy Panasonic product as their after sales service is bad.

Worst Customer Care of PANASONIC
Sep 05, 2011 04:04 PM 15085 Views

I purchased PANASONIC NR 363 BM refrigerator on 2009 Diwali. The day the refrigerator was purchased, there started mny problems. On the first day, no one came frst of all for the demo of the new fridge. At last I started th refrigerator on my on after a week's waiting for the company person to come for demo. I was shocked to see that the refrigerator was not working. I compalined at Panasonic CC. Someone, from there came after 2-3 days delay. Once again, this was very irritating. The person told me that the PCB is faulty and needs to be replaced. He told me that it will take some days to get it repaired. I asked to replace the refrigerator as this was new and did not want the defective piece, . But they did not hear to me . After a 2- weeks time this was changed. In 2010, again the fridge stopped cooling. I again called the CC technician. They corrected it and repaired it immediatedly. Again in June 2011, the gas from the refrigerator leaked. Again the technician was called and filled the gas and charged an amount of Rs, 1800. Again after a month, the refrigerator stooped cooling. Once again the technician came and told that the Compressor is now faulty and needs be replaced. To give me a big shock, he told that it will take another 6 weeks to replace the compressor as this is not available in India and they have to get from outside country. The fridge though was purchased from a shop nearby my house.in INDIA. I ask the cc, that if the parts are not available in INDIA then why do they sell such refrigrators here. I am waiting still in September after 2 months fo the compressor to come. As they sent a wrong code of the clompressor and will take another 6 weeks to get it. I do not know what HELL is this. This is the worst Custome r care I have ever seen. I willnever ever recommend this product and company to anybody. Moreover, I called number of times to the service centre, everytime they say that I will get in anoher 15 days, Only GOD knows when I will get my refrigerator repaired.

Never Buy Panasonic Refrigrator
Jan 07, 2011 05:41 PM 19614 Views

I bought Panasonic refrigerator model nr b261m-s225 on 6.1.2009 with high hopes and worry freely assuming Panasonic brand being solid & best. Despite objections from my family & friend I bought this refrigerator.

I am feeling bad as just after completion on one year its started giving troubles.

After 1 year 1 month the pcb part got replaced for which i had paid rs. 4700 which was shocking. But ultimately having no other option I had paid & got that replaced. Now once again my fridge is out of work having no power. We Indians can not think of a fridge giving trouble in every two months.

Previously we have owned Voltas/Samsung refrigerators with 10 years of peace in mind as the product was solid & never given any trouble using continuously for 10 years. But i think there is some problem with Panasonic refrigerator as felt by me it is not meant for India.

Moreover the service centre is pathetic as the phone continuously ringing since morning & nobody is picking it. Service centre name is crystal SRVC Pandav Nagar, Delhi 110092.

After this experience i will suggest never buy Panasonic refrigerator as it is not durable and will definitely make hole in your pocket.

Excellent sales service by brand shop
Dec 23, 2009 05:04 PM 16397 Views

After many a search(online and on-feet), the bottom freezer was the decider. The better-half's `i'm not growing younger, so it'll help to not bend over double ever so often' sealed it.

Granted the product is rather new and relatively un-publicized; but the `Made in Malaysia' sign on the compressor was of some assurance- the piece itself seems assembled in Thailand.

Mr. Munna of Panasonic brand shop in Rajaji Nagar proved to be a true customer service professional - agreed to deliver over the phone with COD facility, saving a trip to the showroom- there are multi-brand showrooms in Bangalore where you got to pay and wait for 2 days.

A body-dent on delivery was immediately accepted as `caused in-transport' and the piece replaced without any hassle - in contrast to aggressive behavior often exhibited once the delivery is done.

It's been only two and a half months so rather early to comment on the product durability(but so far so good- satisfactory performance).
