This place is full of shops that sell all kinds of illegal goods, pirated software among other things. One needs to be very cautious and street smart to be able to shop here. The shopkeepers are cunning and thieving.

If they figure you can afford to pay, they will always overcharge for small items. Foreigners should completely avoid this place. Be mindful of your pockets, cellphone etc.

Even a small petty shop owner from this Bazaar owns ultra luxury properties in Delhi. You can imagine the kind of margins that these people make.

Always ensure to bargain and demand rock bottom prices. Foreigners should avoid this place. Once you visit a shop, the attendants will follow you and keep on babbling non stop and drive you mad till you buy something from them.

You may go for small items such as bags, belts etc. But electronics, DSLRs etc can be avoided. They have counterfeit goods of almost every expensive item. Maybe you can obtain spare parts of some items.

OWNER MANOJ DUPED ME of Rs 2500/- which I payed him on 20th April 2021 through Phonepay to get some software. He did not send software and also not picking my phone. He is a thief and giving an impression that all sellers are their group of gangs. If some palika bazar committee or union is reading this, should take him to take and make him return my money

Palika maaa gunda kaam karta haa they snatch my old ps2 when i went there and shop keeper say please wait i will tell you the price and that shop keeper opened my ps2 and sold all the parts in 10 to 15 mins on other side and told me to take 1000 rs afterwards but at that time i am 14 years old so they make me fool i even say them i will complaint in police station and their owner he is sitting on chair and said nothing will happen then i ask other shop keepers they said you can complaint but i purchased my ps3 game disc from other shops at that time and they all are selling second hand disc with Lamination and saying they are new lol my dlc and online codes are not working when i login in psn store and after few hours when i call them on phone and said them i purchase 7 games from your shop with paper bill they said you don't purchase any stuff from us don't call again so totally i lost 13 to 14 housand rupees and i learn my leason to never visit that place but few days back i visited there with my friend and they are forcing me to purchase the clothes so I leave that shop and that person follow me on the stairs and said you have to purchase i said get lost but he start shouting and said give my money lol i said him i have not purchased anything but he is still shouting and i left that place with my friend so these people are getting mad because their sales are falling..

This shopping complex used to be known for good range of quality stuff for men/women but from the past 6-7 years, may be stores were purchased by some thieves or mobster, and they hired the same kind of staff to sell their goods.

Once you entered in the market; they will starts pulling your shirt, or hold your hand to buy something from their store OR mistakenly if you ask to show something then you will be forced to buy that products and if you deny then 2-3 staff member will start taunting you and disrespecting you like you anything.

Aukat ho tab aaya karo kuch kharidne

Kharidna nahi tha to nikalawya kyu, ise nikal kar pack karne ke paise do ya khud pack karo

I saw a guy of around 24 years of age and he was literally crying and seeking for help to get out of this, then I intervene and that's only because I was there with few of my friends who can actually reply in the same language).

The management in the mid of the market is sitting to get paid by these mobster not serve the complainers.

Suggestion - find some time and select Karol bagh market

Today I the Avinash Hasija here going to share my personal experiences of purchasing goods, shirts from this Palika Bazaar -Delhi Departmental Store some days ago by writing a small product review article through this mouthshut.com to the point .

Title of Product Review Article= Palika Bazaar-Delhi -The Place of Looters.

Overall Rating= 1star

Pros= It had no benefit other than it's big name for show piece only that palika bazaar is good place to purchase clothing and other products at less price and of good quality but it was not the same as per the saying of the people .

Cons= It had various cons some are as follows;

Firstly, it was very crowded place no single good person can go that place to purchase clothing goods for themselves .

Secondly, it was not safe place as various robbers revolve around that place .

Thirdly, the sellers, retailers were also the looters there because they looted me as by selling bad quality of shirt cloth and at high prices and not changed and refunded my money on product comes out to be faulty of defective .

Fourthly, No refund or exchange was given to the purchasers once the goods are purchased.

Fiftly, sellers even did not recognize the customers if the customers go to that place again and customer like me felt as chaos if I looted there and no one to hear my voice against them .

Fifth no parking place and no more store range and no value for money and it's all waste .

Suggestion to the viewers or future visitor=

Donot go that place for purchase of clothing goods specially as they all are looters,

The places were designed for different purpose I guess but just because of selling products it becomes a chor market in the heart of Delhi.

I don't how this place can have easy access or available openly, because they sale duplicate and 3rd class products those work only for a week and the staff of the store seriously need treatment or training to how to speak and behave with customers.

If you have less money and you are satisfied with your product life of 1-2 week than its highly recommended because the product life shelf is not more than 1-2 week, either you go for electronic or garments.

I do not want to use those words on public platform for the so called salesman inside this market but they do not even deserve to be the part of market in any way.

I have never posted any such things ever in my life but the kind of treatment I have seen at Palika Bazaar; I never wanted to be there ever in my life. So called salesman are so much irritating people sometime you feel like to slap them they did not just misbehaved with Indians but also with foreigners.

Moreover the people who are responsible to maintain the inside decorum are just sitting for the sake of completing their duty I guess.

The staff of palika bazaar is pathetic and most of them sound like criminals. Though I like the place and ambiance which is absolutely ruined by the so called store sales-man, they pull your handbag to buy from their store; sometimes you feel like to slap on their faces.

Management is very biased when it comes to complaint about the salesman; they try to make you calm down and then pressurize you to take your complaint back; I think they are also scared with the Dons inside the shops.

Hii, yesterday i went to palika bazar first time and purchased a pair of earing, shopkeeper said me price of it Rs. 80, i purchased it but when i went to another shop i asked price for same he said me only rs. 20. I am shocked how much differece in the price of same quality product. When i said to shopkeeper from whom i bought, about the price he just starting abused with me nd also said that its your mistake u dont say anything about price ..its your mistake. They are like"THUGS". A worst experience.

I remember when I used to go their with my cousins and friends, it was the best place to shop in Delhi but from the past 7-8 years, they have hired some Ghatiya, no class Salesman who doesn't even heard the word Customer care(I doubt "do they really knows what salesman is) some of them looks like snatcher.

These stupid so called salesman pull people bags to come in their shop then they force you like anything to buy what you have seen.

some of them chew Gutkha in front of the customer and use unprofessional words in Hindi(which is more worse).

I was in delhi for few months. So I with my friend went to Palika Bazaar and as a small city person I have seen many branded clothing on lower price their.

I have purchased one full sleeve black color t-shirt and the name on t-shirt was "United Color Of Benetton", so I have purchased that t-shirt.

Next day I went gurgaon to meet one of my friend and then we went to one mall, where I have seen same t-shirt on showroom and the price was 1200 rs. And I have purchase t-shirt in Rs 200 only.

The difference was shocking, but quality is also different.

If any one want to enjoy low quality branded clothing then they must go to palika bazaar.

But if you want a quality cloth then plz don't rush their.

Shop no. 16 at Palika Bazar below Gate number 2 is a thief. They will sell you everything by almost more than double price and are also misbehaved. They guaranteed me about something they sold me that it will be useful for me. But the next day when I went there to complain and asked them to take it back. They almost misbehaved me.

Palika Bazaar is one of the most renowned market in Delhi. It is known for its cheap priced product.

It is the worst place to shop to. Almost everything is fake and the quality is very low. They sell fake products and often charge high prices for them until bargained efficiently. I bought a shirt and a wallet from Palika Bazaar, which did not lasted even a month. The shirt was faded after 3-4 washes and the wallet's pocket did not support even a month.

My experience with this place was not good and I do not recommend others to buy from this place.

I went Palika Bazaar twice. Everything they sell is a fake. The leather is not actual leather. They show something and give something else.

Shopkeepers have their own prices like you can buy the same shirt from Rs.200 to Rs.2000. It all depends on your bargaining skills.

They will give you products from copied brands like Reebok becomes Rebook or Adidas becomes Abidas.

Also once you've bought a product then there is no scope for exchanging that product.

Though the market is set up in a basement with full AC but when you come to the ground level there are many beggars and also the beggars are small kids. These kids just grab you so tight that you'll end up fighting from that small kid.

Overall the place has no class at all.

The shopkeepers seem to be extremely needy. Even beggars don't get after your life the way the shopkeepers of Palika do! They seem to be underpaid, and are ready to harm you & snatch money from you to fill their stomach. The shopkeepers are threatening, abusive and may hurt you. Never go to Palika - you are sure to have an ugly experience there. The shopkeepers are savages and they treat you as their prey.

Hey Friends today I am here to express my views about palika bazaar. It is hug of many clothes shop underground inside of cannaught place. The parking facility is not available here, you can park your car or bike at your own risk. The shops are well managed here the ambience is great for youth and teenagers as all the shopkeepers are young so all sells shirts, T-shirts, jeans, pant, tattoos and shoes for girls as well as boys. Here you can buy clothes between 150-1500 but it is a huge request to not spent your value money for the clothes here. All are the second hand or duplicate products which gets easily damaged for use of 1-2 months. I wastes my money two times in shopping here. All my t-shirts and jeans are damaged rapidly now they are as useless as the palika bazaar. Bargin is at their top in theses shops. If you love your money don't dare to buy here.
