Palace retreat is a nice hotel but have only 4 rooms rightnow it has been alter from an old palace they have a very big garden . It is aloofplace from all the loud sound of the city and even it is cut off from thevillage . it has a big area where you can hide away there are two big buildingwhich is not a party of hotel but then also one can look around .
I have toldlot of the writers often do come there .well rooms are no so high-quality butstill not so bad either. The only plus point I found to stay is if you areseeking a totally aloof place and if you are mid way for going to manali etc andwant to bypass Shimla and if you don’t want to feel the cold of snow and stillwant to see Shimla then also it is a nice place to stay as the snow don’t fall inarki when other parts of himachal is under it specially Shimla as it is only 39km 2 hour drive. Food is nice not so extraordinary.
What to do well one can track there are 7 , 8 tracks.
Note- in the place there are some old paintingon the rooms they are total divine to look at.
The hotel is mid range coasting around rs1500 to rs1300
