Cleanser, not the scrub. They both have the same name, if you don't believe me, go to the Origins website. I'm sorry if I am not following the rules. If you are that upset, you can cyber-stomp my left pinkie toe for retribution lol. But rest easy, I am researching the scrub and I might get it soon. In the meanwhile, on with the review.
Why did I purchase this?
Since The Body Shop store and the Origins stall (within the department store) was in walking distance, I decided to take a peek at their wares. As usual I was pushed up by the sales associates, but I tried my best to ignore them. I wanted to try so many things but I swore to myself that I wouldn't purchase things out of emotion. So to myself halfway, I bought an skin care set. The products came in travel size or sample size, so I was given the opportunity to try a small selection of their skin care line.
How did I use it?
I used it twice a day, since it was the summer time. What I liked about the fact that you don't need a lot of the product to get some lather or make your face feel clean. I did not notice any brightening properties, but it does rinses well. So I am satisfied at this point. I swear I gotten a 2 and a half months usage from this product, and the size of the bottle, and I have the 1.7 fl. oz./50 mL travel size. This product does have a strong papaya (or pawpaw as my cousins call it lol) and I believe pineapple scent. So if you are offended by fruity scents, do not get this.
Results?
In all, I liked it. Granted I found a similar product to this, but the other product doesn't seem to lather in comparision. So I will get this cleanser for the upcoming summer, humid months. Oh I forgot, this product is recommened for those with combo skin or even oily skin. My skin is a combo of oily and sensitive. So those that are allergic to certain fruit enzymes, please use caution. Also there are some (nothing to get excited over folks) skin tightening properties when I use this.
