Opal Inn, Nungambakkam, Chennai

Opal Inn is one of the oldest restaurant in Nungambakkam. The restaurant was once a nice place but due to the lack of maintenance and negligence the place has deteriorated over the ages.

The food is a mix Italian, Continental, Chinese and North Indian cuisine. The food here is really good. The staff and the management here is very friendly, they build a relationship with the customers and give honest suggestions and opinions.

The con is that the restaurant desperately needs a makeover. It has a good reputation and if they re decorate the restaurant it will easily become of the best restaurants in Nungambakkam.

I have been going to Opal Inn, like forever now. I absolutely adore this especially since it reminds me of my college days when I used to come here with my friends.

The place hasn't changed much over the ages. The staff is still warm and friendly and the restaurant is clean and serves hygienic food.

Opal Inn serves North Indian and South Indian cuisine along with some Continental delicacies.  Some of my favourite dishes here are Chicken Breast Steak and Egg Fried Rice.

The price is reasonable and the food is good.
