Disappointing!

Having flown Oman before I expected something better. What we got was disappointing in terms of service. No drink in the first TWO hours on board, no snack, no child menu as requested, no little gift for a 5-year old girl. The service on board was lackluster and extremely late. Having reserved seats for our family months ago I was flustered to see that this had been changed without prior notice and rather randomly.


A miserable experience from a "world class airline"!

On April 26, 2023 I made a flight booking with OMAN Air(Paris - Perth - Paris) via EXPEDIA and took a screenshot of the cancellation policy(fees: 100 €) during the booking process. After completing the booking, I received the OMAN AIR fare conditions(cancellation fees: €300). A phone call to Expedia regarding the different cancellation fees was answered by customer service with the words "There's nothing we can do about it!". On May 30, 2023, I received an email from EXPEDIA saying “Oman Air has changed your flight details. There is a need for action. Call us so we can find a new flight for you. If you don't want to travel, click'Cancel'.” I then called EXPEDIA on May 31, 2023 to find a new flight. In addition, I was repeatedly promised free cancellation in the event of an inadequate flight rebooking. When EXPEDIA still hadn't sent me an adequate flight rebooking 24 hours later, I used the "free cancellation option" and clicked the "Cancel" button. After calling "EXPEDIA" again regarding the duration of the full refund, I was told that I had to pay a cancellation fee of €300 - this would have been decided by OMAN AIR. Despite EXPEDIA's clear and repeated "verbal or telephone" promise regarding a free refund, I have to pay the €300 cancellation fee myself and will receive the "reduced" refund in 12 weeks.!

I got a ticket from Oman air line but for some air lines reason I couldn’t traveled I sent so many time emails for refund money but I’m surprised nobody gave me best answer after 3 month just I’m still waiting for my money back I have questions how can get connect with resonable person for refund

I purchased a return ticket from Sydney to athens oman air flying edihad, I complete the travel to athens with no problem , I received an email a day before returning to Sydney confirming my ticket to Sydney, but when i try to book the flight at the airport I was told my ticket was cancelled because oman air did something wrong so after calling them lots of times and telling me they will put me on the next flight so I have waited at the airport for 9 hrs and at the end they told they will refund my ticket . Problem is cant get a ticket to return from any other airline, no very trusted airline stay away

Checkin counter staff at Oman airport..asked customer to remove th earlier tag fixed on the luggage. I don't think it's a nice way to treat customers. The staff could remove the tag and replace it

Worst airline ever, booked a flight from nepal to uk for 30th june 2022, when arrived airport on that particular day to get board and came to know the flight was cancelled. Without any notice or inform. They didnot even bother to send any emails to us . No any early inform was done . And had to arrange another flight with other airlines. Never ever going to fly with this irresponsible airlines for this lifetime . And never ever would recommend any one. Thanks for your worst service oman air. ??

I’m living in Oman and today my son had fight from Muscat to Manchester with Lufthansa via Oman air , in front of the counter day said his name is not in the system you can check with reservations desk a lady there she said because your flight from Munich to Manchester is cancel then your flight from Muscat to Munich also cancel you have to contact to Lufthansa or only way is you buy new ticket now but my son after negotiating with them luckily one gentleman help her to arrange for check in in same flight without payment and then in Munich air port my son collected his birding card in same flight that they said is cancel in Muscat air port .


Unfortunately some very useless staff are working in Oman air that they don’t now what they are doing.

I don’t recommend this airline to anyone.


My luggage reached 12 hours past my arrival time.


They told me that they will be calling once it reaches the airport and asked me to come and collect it, but unfortunately they never called so I had to go back to the airport myself


They kept me waiting for 2 hours, checked me again from top to bottom before allowing me to collect my back and refused to handle any expenses for their lack of responsibility towards customers


They even refused to apologize for the delay and the distribution they caused.


I have used many other airlines across the globe, I have never seen such a poor customer care


I highly discourage anyone from using Oman Air if you want to safe money and time

I booked a Business Class flight with Oman Air from Zurich - Auckland on sale. More than a month after booking, the airline sends me an email telling me that they made a mistake with the fare, they are downgrading me to economy or refunding the flight. Try calling their call centre, no answer for days. Eventually, literally 10 emails later, they email me back, sorry but you have to accept one of the options we gave you. Pathetic customer service to say the least. Never again

What a fraud airlines is this oman air. I had booked a ticket on 26th Oct to Nairobi from Kuala Lumpur. Without even asking us they rescheduled our flight on 28th Oct and also changed our return flight from 2nd Nov to 3rd Nov. As our plans were not flexible so we booked the onward journey with Qatar Airways. Today the day before our return journey while trying to check in we came to knew that they cancelled our return tickets without even notifying us because we did not took their 2 days delayed flight. Not only that now they are asking us to pay a huge sum for the tickets they cancelled without us knowing.


This kind of harassment is totally unacceptable and on top of that neither I received any amount and I had to book new flights at this last moment.

This is to put to notice that I Rahul Chokhani was flying from Kathmandu, Nepal to Munich, Germany from Oman air on 29th September 2019. After boarding my flight from Nepal with no objection shown by any Oman air staff while boarding or even before when booking & rerouting my tickets(earlier KTM- Athens- KTM to KTM- Munich & return Athens- KTM) regarding me having Schengen visa from Greece Embassy and not German Embassy even as my return was from Athens, Greece and I had a confirm flight tickets booked from Cologne to Athens. Even though this is my 3rd time traveling to Schengen Nation, 2 times previously with Spain & France Embassy issuing the visa.


After I reached muscat at 12 PM Oman time and had 2pm flight to Munich, while boarding they told me that I can’t go to Munich as I have Schengen visa from Greece Embassy and said they need to check with Germany Immigration for the same. Even when I said its alright I can go to Athens instead if going to Germany was a problem they said no and told me to wait. They made me miss that flight and on top of that made me stay in Muscat airport for 24 Hours with no accommodation provided whatsoever and very rude behaviors from most of the staff. I showed them my previous visa of Schengen as well but they didn’t respond properly for anything.


After a tiresome 20 hours stay they informed saying I can’t go to Munich or Athens even though I have a valid Schengen visa and made me return to Kathmandu with no proper explanation & proof given and with inhuman treatment.


This has just not caused me a big mental strain but also a big monetary loss due to loss of my hotel bookings in Germany and my flight from Germany to Greece because of Oman Air. Even me having valid visa and ticket for my destination they denied me entry and if this is not allowed then I should have been stopped while checkin or boarding in Kathmandu airport by Oman air representative or at the least should have been warned by the reservation officer who rerouted/booked my flight.


I demand compensation just not for my monetary loss but the mental torture I went through because of Oman Air and its representative and I want them to take serious action for the same.

Dont go with Oman airline


Travelled with infant from Muscat to Munich. Oman flight is delayed in landing and because of this connection flight from Munich is missed.


Duty manager was so arrogant and didn't help in rebooking the connection flight.


very poor customer service. I have booked the ticket on my own.

Business seat downgraded to another budget airline

Booked a business class seat from Tehran to Melbourn, with transfer at Muscat and Kuala Lumpur. Flights got terribly delayed and little service by groung staff. At Kuala Lumpur the situation was total chaos, little ground staff service and they took forever to sort out my missed flight from KL to Melb originally by codeshare Malaysian Airline business class. Eventually have to wait extra 8 hours to get on a budget airline(Lion Air) with a reclining seat with budget airline service.

Oman air gives good and luxury service to travellers in budget amount. I got good service from oman airline when I travelled from muscat to calicut one years ago. I was so happy and excited to travel in oman air because of its best service. comfortable seat and good foods. they provide blanket and headset so I was not bored at all

I was living in oman for 8 years and at last I came to india for settlement .oman air takes less money rather than other and it actually is their for the money . I love the food in oman air and the airhosters are so good that if we the host light they would be coming faster, I hate air india because they give dosa which are very sour .it has got a tablet in which there a thousands of and a lot of games


Their drinks are also good.They will give us more food rather we said we are full.Tbey are very happy to serve.
