We were referred to Ocio through a friend. though there is a lot of information on the net about goa, we wanted somebody to guide us through our vacation.
Ashwini was a great help to us and made sure our complete 4 days vacation was fantastic. Right from receiving us at the airport to the hotel booking to sight seeing, everything was arranged by ocio. than you ocio for the fantastic vacation

We called Ocio two days before the long weekend of Aug 18th wanting to go to Coorg. We were told that most of the places were sold out and it would be very difficult to find a place for us (we were 16 people travelling) but she said she will still try. She called us back in two hours and gave us all the details, plus arranged a vehicle at a short notice.
We had a wonderful trip, thanks to Ashwini and Ocio
Some glimpses of our trip,
Received the hotel vouchers on day before the tour started i.e. on Diwali. We started our tour without having a look at the details shared by Mamta. We later found that 2 hotels were changed without any notification. Also the breakfast and Dinner of 2 hotels were refused by hotel management. It was embarrassing situation for all of us.
Driver did not come to airport at informed time. We had to wait for 2 hours. Driver was changed couple of times on very first day of the tour. We had requested fora 8 seater vehicle as we hadlong journey and 7 members. However we got only a 7 seater.
With all enthusiasm we reached hotel at 10PM and had to look for dinner outside at 11 PM with 3 kids.
Next day we had to wait for availability of the driver and vehicle till 10.30 AM. Again on this day, driver was changed 3 times. This was surprising for us.
At Shimla, we had to wait from 6AM to 10AM at reception in cold for the availability of the rooms for us. The breakfast also was refused by hotel management saying that check in time is 12 noon and not 6AM. However, only checkout time was mentioned and check in time was not mentioned at any of the hotels.
Hotel at Shimla was the worst with lack of cleanliness, hospitality, service. While waiting in reception, we observed that Hotel Management was making fun of the customer complaints. Without looking into any of the issues, they would simply play the same tape for each such complaint. We had sent MMS the Mamta for the unhygienic hotel, however she did not even pay any attention. We had to try calling her lot of times to make her respond to our call. In response, we got a stereotype answer that it is a 3 star hotel.
In hotel at Dharamshala, we also saw a rat in the bathtub.
Hotel rooms at Dalhousie were so compact that there was no space left for even to keep our bags and open them as and when required.
We were asked to pay all remaining amount to driver on the very second day of the tour. It was good that we did not schedule any online transactions earlier.
In tour what we came to know is that our tour was outsourced to “Silent Planet” tours. They did hotel bookings for us. For transportation, it was outsourced to some Delhi based travel company which in turn outsourced it to “Hira Tours and Travels”. With all these outsourcing of the tour, we paid amount for 3Star hotel’s Delux rooms and in return got rooms of lower middle class hotels which usually is preferred by small travel companies as economical solution. All the way we had either of such travel group in all these hotels.
I personally would never recommend OCIO Hospitality to anyone.
YOUR RATING ON
I had my trip with my family and in laws and a infant child. Although the trip was good but Mamta Sunar was irresponsible employee working with Ocioindia. I have trying to contact her several times regarding the bad condition of my volvo bus while returning to Delhi but she some how was making the excuses. After my 2 calls she has just not bothered to take any of my calls. I remember I have made atleast 16 calls to her but she refused to take any of those. I have also messaged her to give any other contact information if she cannot answer the calls. There was no response from her side. She has show how Ocioindia will response after they get all complete payment from the cutomer. At last I have to travel in where I cannot keep my luggage on the top, broken window of the volvo bus, only 2 bottler of water was provided for 6 people, there were a group of 6 guys sitting in front of our seat, all these were with Bholanath travels and Ocio didnt bother to listen to the cutomer. I suggest every one do not make the complete payment untill you reach your home back . Travelling with Ocio is not a pleasent and good experience.
I was planning a 2-week trip to Rajasthan in February. Although the Internet has loads of information on Rajasthan, I was referred by a friend to Ocio Hospitality( http://www.ocioindia.com), a travel agency in Bangalore. When I contacted them, I had only 4 days to start my trip to Rajasthan as I was using my year-end leave and was planning to attend a friend's marriage in Rajasthan.
Even with this short timeframe, Gopal, who runs Ocio, came up with a number of options that fitted into my schedule. As my friend's wedding was in Jodhpur, he suggested that we start our trip from Udaipur and then travel to Jodhpur, onward to Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Jaipur, that way covering the whole of Rajasthan. The cost of travel was also within our budget; with an AC Qualis for all 10 days. The hotels booked by Ocio in each of the cities were ideal. The desert camp near Jaisalmer was excellent.
I have recommended Ocio to all my friends and family. They were responsive, friendly and came up with many options to meet my needs. I am sure to use them for all my future travel needs(I hope they service all holiday destinations). Gopal can be reached on 98453-90215 or on leisure@ocioindia.com
