A national bestseller. seeing such a line on a book cover surely levels up your expectations, isn't it? .and so I started.
Avinash - the rich, handsome, decent guy - doesn't want to get married. But his parents force him to. So, he reluctantly goes to pickup one of his to-be bride Neha from the beauty parlor.
And then he narrates his entire life, when Neha asks why he can't marry.
A 180 pages story on just a 18 mins conversation maybe less.
He starts his larger-than-life, one-man army story from his childhood. Changing different schools, his adventures and his love partners. I don't remember all but Lisha as she has been printed on many of the pages which I didn't skip.
Anything happens around him, he is responsible and takes the initiative, the famous, good-at-everything guy. Great, isn't it!
And at last he meets his childhood love Lenika, whom he didn't recognize even though she was always around, in the same college. Interesting!
What happens at end. Just few lines, after he finishes his long "reason", Neha agrees to be her friend, if she can't marry. Drama over?
I could have given it a 2-star maybe 3, (yes, recommendation.) if only, it didn't have cheated me by writing that bestseller thing.
PS: There were lots of spelling mistake and few punctuation errors too. Also, the dialogues were too plain to make it feel lively.
