Well I am a MBA student at NIU.the campus is located at the foothills of westernghats spreading across 250 acres.the campus provides a good ambience for academics.The campus has seperate hostels for both boys and ladies.girls hostel are within the campus and that of boys are outside.the college offers bus services to almost every routes including interstate 3 services to kerala. The college has 3 canteens and 2 light refreshment centres located at convenient points.the college offers free wifi, computer labs, well equipped libraries, health centre andoffice stationary stores.so the students need not want to go outsude for academic needs.the campus has a seperate placement cell which assists in placement and guidance.

In terms of academics NIU is strict in terms of attendance and descipline.a minimum of 75% is required for appearing at exams.there is a sms system to inform parents regarding their ward's abscence.the college also send inland letters to all parents about their academic results and performance

The college has recently launched its own satellite , developed by the students with the help of ISRO.

The academics are based on semester system. 3 series test are conducted before semester exams.

There are strict policies to prevent ragging.even the interval timings are adjusted in a way so as to prevent any kind of inconvenience to junior students.

The college has a NSS unit and other clubs to develop extra curricular activities of students
