Nisargadhama is one of the tourist destination in Kudaku. It is beautiful place with water falls, hill stations and bamboo park. Nisargadhama is a small forest which diffused in 64 Acer. Beautiful huts in side of bamboo park is elegance of Nisargadhama.

When we reached in Nisarghadam it was early morning so there was cold too. so I didn't like to come out from car. I became energetic after a hot tea. I walked into Nisarghadhama sometime. It was unforgettable moment in my life. snow covered forest, water falls and sweep bridge everything is beautiful. A sweep bridge which designed in different color is main attraction in Nisarghadama. Nisarghadam Eco park are situated in front of state highway. I think Nisarghadhama is best place to love nature.

Medicary is nearest city, you had better advance booking for hotel because it is difficult to get room in Medicary sometime . since whole year is full season So there is safe for travel in day and night.

Nisargadhama or Nisabdhadhama( Nisabda in Kannada means withoutnoise)is almost a heaven on earth, with absoulte calm but for the sonorous sound emanating from the Cauvery surrounding this Island.Nisargadhama is placed in the highway leading to Madikere from Mysore and it takes about two and half hour drive from Mysore. The road to Nisarghadama from Mysore is also well laid. There is enough parking space for those who travel by their conveyance. I am not able to provide any bus details as I went by my own conveyance.

It is only a one day trip from Mysore. You better take some snacks and if possible lunch too and proceed in the morning. You can stay there throughout the day and be back to Mysore the same day. A snack kiosk is also available there. There is a nominal entry ticket. You enter the Nisarghadhama after crossing a small bridge which runs across the Cauvery which surrounds the Nisarghadhama island. You can also have a boat ride in seasons when the water rises navigable level. On entry at your left hand side you can see the rabbits darting through. Still further there is a museum. Beyond that you can see the Deer Park in front of which is also  a vendor vending etables like groundnut for visitors as well to be given to the deers.

There is also an elephant mount  in front of the Deer Park but without elephant. Perhaps during season we may see an elephant. Then you approach the cauvery running besides the Nisarghadhama. You can get down through a gate provided and enjoy the sonorous flowing Cauvery and you feel absoulte bliss if you saty there and do not feel leaving out of it. What a fantastic place with absoulte calm? A Heaven on Earth. I love this place very much. There are lot of trees and plants with their biological names hung on them which may interest  Biology students and researchers. And who can ever forget the chirping music of various kinds of birds.
