Nirma Detergent

Nirma Detergent powder is one of the oldest detergent powders available in Indian market for more than four decades if not more. However, today it is the most disliked brand in the retail market for the reasons detailed below.

Quality: Quality of Nirma powder is below par with many other popular brands like Rin, Tide, Surf Excel and some others. having mentioned that I refer to the quality of washing it provides. It is not capable of removing even the weakest spots on clothes. Washing with naked palms using it causes severe irritations which can be harmful if used for a longer period. The fragrance of this powder too is not that enchanting as it is with other brands. As I know from my past experience with it, the longevity of clothes if washed with it reduces significantly too.

Prices: When it was launched in 1975, its cost per kilogram was Rupees and has gone to Rupees 48 now. However, this price is absolutely not competitive considering that an international brand like Tide costs Rupees 46 per kilogram.

Commercials: Surprisingly, no advertisements are seen today for this brand neither in TV nor on street side hoardings which reduces its popularity too.

Over all, these days I am yet to find anyone from my close circle who uses it and that's all what I can say about this old brand, but degraded of late.

After watching the advertisement of Nirma Detergent where they mentioned that little amount of powder will bring lots of froth and will clean all the stains of clothes, .

I brought Nirma Detergent and used it for 6 months. Unlike in the advertisement, Nirma Detergent gave lots of froth only when I put more amount of powder in bucket full of water. I

t did not give so much good cleansing effect as it got mentioned in the advertisement and it failed to remove dark stain on my clothes. In fact after using it for 6 months, I found that it create fading of colours of clothes whenever I washed my clothes using Niram Detergent. Hence, I will suggest people not to use it as it will fade the colour of your clothes and you have to put more amount of Nirma Detergent powder to bring some effective cleansing effect.

The nirma detergent I have used before many years ago.

The detergent I don't like .Because exactly come to the point that the detergent is not good for washing clothes .

When I can use it then its soda particles of detergent is not able to remove the stain easily . I can use a washing soap to remove stain and brush also.

Its only affectable only a light stain it's not give the complete  clean cloth.

The second most disadvantage of this detergent that it makes the hand rough and dry .

Its not be a perfect dtergent for the clothes . Its chemical also affect  cloth colour .It also vanishes it sometime .

So I cannot recommend it at all as detergent for stain removing dust from clothes.

Its make woollen weak so I can't use it any more and left use of it.

Nirma detergent powder  I till today buy and usually wash my clothes and the relation is quite old .I trust this brand because it washes clothes extremely well.The detergent or alkali of powder reaches every molecule of the cloth and fight dirt and stain .This powder dissolved in cold water if rubbed properly leaves the stains and rinsed away .I first take clothes, white clothes and colored clothes differently and keep them soaked in water containing a little nirma.A little amount will suffice so it lasts long and very pocket friendly .

It removes stains of cobwebs, pen-ink, soup or food stain especially stain of turmeric even tea or coconut water .can't believe?after soaking clothes keep them below running water under the tap.The clothes, shirts, sarees, bedsheets will glitter and sparkle as if new.I always like the baby dolls picture on the packet.It can wash bed cover and mosquito net .Take soft water.Then foam will come out and thus excellent washing powder will fight stain.

Sometimes I think Nirma could have various smell like lemon, tea leaves, flowers then modern truly Snell lovers would not have gone for other washing powder .I really believe in Nirma.I don't have any problem with its rudimentary smell-less firm.anyone can buy this brand, You can get it in a small kirana store too.In modern shopping mall, retails they are available .I love this slightly yellow coloured powder for supporting my house hold activities for so many years

Nirma washing powder is the oldest brand of India and I am observing it since childhood when my mother used it for clothes washing and as on date also it is a part of our home apart from other products as well. The photo of a baby girl on packet is one of the trademark brand in India of Nirma washing powder. Luckily,  I witnessed entire process and can guarantee you its quality and efficiency though they concentrate their spending much in quality rather than advertisement which you witness in other brands like rin, henko, OK, etc.

The powder now comes in two varieties – one in lemon colour and one in creamy white colour which has common functions except its application and way of usage considering the frequency of need of consumer which you will not find such concept in any other detergent powder brands. The ease of use is simple without much rubbing and troubling your hand to remove stains from clothes. The fragrance is equally good. At my home it is still used on all our fabrics without losing natural look and quality.

As Nirma is one of the oldest Brand of India I thought I should try for Super Nirma that I found once nearby my local shop.but when I started to use  that washing my clothes, I met a bitter experience, I bought 1kg Super Nirma @ Rs.45-48 something, but sadly it didnot run for a month where it was only used for washing Two people's 5-6 pieces of Clothing,

Not the  Bulk of Clothes, where other Detergent like Fena, Rin, Tide those I usually use, sufficiently run for a Month, amount needed Very Few to get Squeaky Clean Clothes where Super Nirma if you take also a huge amount of powder its Not Enough to get Complete Clean washing clothes using it, It neither rinse the Dirts well nor removes the Greasiness of the Clothes, it doesnot form Good Foam how hard you try to  stirr it in the water in bucket.

Again the fragrance of Super Nirma not at all Good, so you dont enjoy washing the clothes with it.Again I used to have some Irritation/ Burning sensation whenever I used to  touch that  for use. so I'll never buy this kind of Product again. Though the detergent powder does look like Surf Excel Blue it will never touch that Quality of Surf ExcelBlue.

Washing Powder Nirma, Washing Powder Nirma - I am sure you have not only heard this jingle in the Nirma advertisement, but, you are very familiar with it. Today, it is the most popular detergent of the millions of housewives in India. The credit goes to Nirma as it has stood firm in the face of stiff competition from Surf, Surf Excel, Wheel, Henco and the like. Even the Nirma detergent cake is quite good and economical. Th Nirma detergent powder goes well with washing machines, and is kind to fabrics like silk and nylon. Even in hand washing, it has no bad effect on your fingers. Price wise, it is cheaper. Nirma has made so much profit these days that it has diverted a substantial amount in establishing an educational institution in the outskirts of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Bravo, Nirma, you have made it. You have become socially relevant.
