Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata

Well I am student of this college and my personal opinion about this college is this college is not that great as the main branch i.e Techno India saltlake.

This college is situated on the outskirts of Garia where you first need to get down on last station KAVI SUBHASH practically NEW GARIA and from there take a toto to the college.

The environment near the metro station will seem all fine but as you keep on approaching the college area, the road conditions are so bad.

Well the faculty is not that bad, the professors are definitely supportive and the reading room is the best thing you can find in this college.But if I talk on the student quality then you are in the wrong place bacause unlike techno saltlake here not everybody but most of them are in a hurry to submit their lab manuals without the zeal to learn anything properly.

Even the placements are generally good for the IT, CSE and ECE departments where previously 90-100 students were placed in Companies like TCS, WIPRO, JOHNSON CONTROLS, MINDTREE etc.But many seminars are surely conducted in this college like a seminar from the IEEE group was conducted and it was good giving us lots of ideas on the industrial workout.

The labs are more or less well equipped with instruments but they are not modern so that is a minus point.The professors are very boring telling you to mug up things and feeding you with the fear of semesters.

Not to worry there are a lot of playing grounds nearby and the college have its own common room having a place to play carrom and table tennis.

Netaji subhash Engineering college-It is a private college.The location of the college is very bad and also it has no hostel.The faculty member are not helpful and the standard of the faculty member also very low.But the good thing of the college is there are huge campasing than other private colleges.There are 70% -75% students placed in 4th year.But there is no scope and no encourgement from this college for higher studies.so this a avarage type college.

Well, This is a good engineering college in south kolkata. Students come from all over the state to take admission and to create an aim and get successful in their streams.Academic programmes are well organised. The college is well maintained with its good administration.Extra curricular activites are less important as they all get busy in their studies. They have a good alumni network to go further in future being successful to run the college with ease.

Although I am not a student of this college. But many of my friends are from this college. This institute is very close to my house, and one of the best engineering institute in our locality. It provides quality education, certified by NBA. Campusing system of this college is also very good.

One of my friend is also faculty of this linstitute, and I know there fees structure is also very well. So if anyone choose this institute as a carrier option, it is a good decision.

I am now a student of 3rd year in the department of Mechanical Engineering, The college is not so good but above average in Kolkata.

The Academic Programs in this college are B. Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA, M. Tech. In B. Tech there are several departments like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Biomedical, Applied Electronics & and Instrumentation. and in M.Tech there are some subject in ECE and CSE. But Faculties are can not fulfill their requirements, They are very lazy, very irresponsible, A few teachers are very good.

Administration of the College is very good, The semester fee are 60840 in 1st Sem, 56000 in 2nd sem and 40000 in others semester.

There are some Extracurricular programs. A tech fest is organised by Phoenix group, There are Some competition like Robotic, Coding, Quiz contests etc.

The Alumni Network also very good in this college. Every department organize a Alumni Function in every year.

Netaji Subhash Engineering College - Kolkata, is a affiliated college under AICTE.It's educational system or the teaching stuff is not upto the mark.Labs are not so equiped.The campus is good.Companies visit for placement for mainly CSE.For other Branches, the placement is not upto the mark.It is a good college under WBTU but not so good.I will not recommend you unless you donot get a much better college in WBTU.

College name is netaji subhash engineering clg but not at all a good clg to study b.tech. faculties are not up2 the mark. They cant provide good placements for b.tech's.

I just wasted my 4yrs doing b.tech in this clg. Now I dnt have any job. It is good for BCA not for B.TECH. dnt go with the name.

This college is the best private engineering college of Kolkata. I have done BCA from this college. This college is one of the oldest private engineering college of Kolkata. The teachers are awesome.

The infrastructure is too good. Specially all the labatories are very much well equiped. Adminstration of this college is absolutely fine. Extracurricular activities like all kind of sports from cricket to football to voleyball, every thing happens over here. Alumni network is also excellent. Jobs are guaranteed. This is an excellent college to study BCA, MCA, Btech, Mtech, BBA, MBA.

Netaji Subhash Engineering College is operated by leading education group of West Bengal TECHNO INDIA. It is located in the southern part of the city near to the Garia station. This college is affiliated to West Bengal Technological University and recognized by AICTE.

I have my own experience with this college when I took my cousin brother to get admitted to this college for his BCA course. The college compound is quite big with massive building construction. Students from south kolkata mostly study there. The college is away from the hustle bustle of the city and located amidst lush green, so it is really a peaceful location to study. There are several engineering branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and communication, Mechanical, Civil are taught here in under graduate level. Students are awarded BTECH degree from WBUT after  completion of 4 years degree course.

Apart, this college also operates two undergraduate courses which are Bachelor in Businss Administration(BBA) and Bachelor  in Computer Application(BCA) having 3 years of duration.

The college also offers M.Tech programs in couple of streams and MCA. MBA. They have a huge collection of library and a vast play ground. There is a canteen to provide food at good rates. There are couple of food stalls even outside the colleges and students can get good food at cheap rate.

There is also a PNB branch just near to college to outside students can open their account with out any hassle. There are XEROX shops, mobile recharge shops too just to meet requirements of the students. There are several Paying Guest Accommodation for the students coming from distant places.

Every year most of the students get well placed in several MNC after their course completion, so this college is good and running at per industry standard.I have known several people personally who are working in different cities in India or even in USA after completing courses from this college.

So, this college has my recommendation.
