I joined a company called Neshiel Chemical Pvt. Ltd. in 2014. I worked over there for a short period of time i.e 4-5 months. I liked the work & was putting in my efforts for the same. I worked sincerely & dedicated myself towards work. Probably seeing, my dedication, new responsibilities were allocated to me by our Director. I wasn't the best but was putting in my efforts to reach the place. However due to personal or professional reasons, other team members did not liked the same.
They started taunting & non-cooperating. Comments were passed regularly & frequently thus disturbing me & my work. At times i responded back but then stopped reverting back & continued working silently. As comments increased i felt more & more cornered by other team members. It was one against many. Tired of it i informed our director about the same & he said he would look upon the matter.
However there acts didn't stopped & they started interfering with both my professional & personal life. As it started getting personal i wrote a letter to my director informing him about my resignation. The director once again said he would look into the matter & asked me to continue work. He also suggested to bring some evidence about the same.
Despite everything, things remained the same & tired of constant indirect personal comments & personal interference i left the company. Few days before leaving the company i had shown evidence of there comments & acts to our Director, however things remained the same & tired of it all, i left.
Later, when required i came back & handed over all my work files & documents to the next concerned person who was suggested by our director. It was a proper handover of work & procedure. I had informed the director & the next concerned person to call me for further help & support, whenever required. The director also offered an opportunity to join back but due to past events in the company i was not interested.
I was under probation period for six months & left before confirmation hence i just informed the director about my resignation & i left. I had also offered complete help & support to the company after my resignation.
Thus my tenure with Neshiel Chemical Pvt. Ltd. ended in a short span of 4-5 months.
After leaving the company i applied at various places for interview. I got offer letters from some companies & rejections from some. However i realized that my ex-employer & his team were in one way or other stalking & haunting me. They would directly or indirectly affect the companies i was applying to. Probably so that i would get tired of the job profiles or package offered & would get back to there company. They also wanted to prove that things which happened in there company was a routine thing in a professional environment & happens in most companies. (I didn't felt so. I understand some amount of competition & certain level of internal politics is present in every company however personal comments, cornering & interference in personal life is not something which happens in every company. Fun is momentary if it gets permanent it ain't funny anymore).
The company used its power through there long term business partners & included more & more companies and people in the act. They shared information about me, many of which was mostly wrong. They inflated things & spread negative word of mouth for me.
The company also involved my ex-employer, other companies, friends, family & many other people in the process. Thus created a complete negative image for me. Tired of it all i started looking for jobs in other cities & found a job in other city. However, they continued using there influence & further increased the power, now, to bring me back to the city i left.
They portrayed wrong image about my personal life, my behavior & my work. They gave wrong titles & expected me to behave in a genuine & a humble manner despite of everything which was done. I always had respect for the company & there directors but as things got more & more complex i lost that respect for them.
A small act which started from a few people was so wide spread that instead of stopping the act they were multiplied; just so as to hide what was actually done. For them it was or is just a game but for me it's my life which they all have ruined. Other companies who have supported them i question them too for there support. Is it what you all would want in your organization?
I think HR Managers have made policy of probation period after much consideration. It gives both employer & an employee a time frame to understand the work, the team & the workplace. But if an employee is in someway or other not fitting in would you just treat him like this. Would you force him to stay? Would you spoil his career just because he left your company? If a person is not happy with the environment would he be able to perform? Would it have been in the interest of the company or the employee to continue? Using incorrect influence & spreading rumors about things which weren't actually true? Was it all correct which was done?
To this day the company is haunting me in one way or other. They have been misusing there contacts through there long term partners & associates. They are spreading false information & are creating an environment which would force me to return. I am not offered jobs in the new city which i have relocated to & if offered they are offered with lower packages or with hardcore sales profile. Today, to this date i am regretting my decision of joining this company & feel that have spoiled my career due to the same. I am unemployed since last many months now & am specifically tired with the influence used against me.
