Their sweets never be compared to any other shop as they famous in manufacturing different kind chocolate sweets. Small shop, nothing much decorated and it's not needed also. I work in ecospace and there was a Hilsa Festival going on in Ecospace. There was a stall by Nalin Chandra Das and Sons.

It had various kinds of sweets there. There were flavoured sweets like Chocolate sweets, black forest sweets, fanta sweets, strawberry etc. I took black forest sweet and my colleague took two in one sweet. It was delicious. The sweetness was also apt not too much not too less.

The sweet cost Rs 20/- per piece. The staff there told me about there outlet near kalighat metro station.  While returning home my husband and myself went to Nalin Chandra and Sons at rashbehari. The outlet is a small one but has various varieties of sweets. My husband had chocolate jolbhora and strawberry cheesycake. He also loved the sweets.  The sweets are very fresh and juicy.I would recommend everyone to go and have sweets at Nalin chandra.

Nalin Chandra Ds and Sons is an old traditional bengali sweet shop or you can say Mishti shop.

It has many outlets in the town. I visit the Nalin Chandra outlet near Kalighat Metro Station as it is close to my home. The location is apt as it attracts many passerby to and fro kalighat metro station.

The shop has varieties of sweets both traditional and modern like orange fanta, butterscotch fanta, black currant jolbhora.The flavoured mishtis are mouthwaterng. I love the jolbhoras and abar khabo mishti. Dont miss to taste mango kulfi. I just loved the taste of it. I always have one mango kulfi each time I visit Nalin Chandra.So what are you waiting for. Go and have some mishtis at Nalin Chandra if you love sweets.
