So I was a bit dicey about going to this place for a Sunday dinner. So many discussions and great feedback about the place made us drive to this very simple and ordinary looking south Indian cafe.

Located in a huge building with a couple of banks n a small coffee joint, we escorted each other to the restaurant on the second floor. It looked like a dining hall to me.

Tidy and simple furniture. The entire staff was in south Indian attire with a sweet smile. Within two minutes after placing the order we were given complimentary rasam in medium sized plastic glasses. My friends got their glasses refilled twice as the rasam was amazing.

In no time, our order reached our table. Huge thalis with a banana leaf:D and our onion uttapam, rawa masala dosa, mysore masala dosa n idli, vada and idlis were in front of us accompanied with three types of chutneys and delicious sambhar.

The South Indian restaurant deserves a mention because of its food and ambience both depicting the tradition of South India.

They have a lot of mouth watering dishes on the menu specially the rava dosas, the sambar was good and liked the coconut and tomato chutneys, typically South Indian, better than sagar ratnas or any other restaurant chain you can think of.

The environment is also typical southern with waiters wearing their white traditional outfit and offering you the welcome drink.For deserts, I think they lack variety but one can taste their yellow ladoos which are surprisingly filling.

Reservation for your table is highly recommended on weekends.

Overall, very nice place.Service is fast and efficient. Definitely worth a try!
