Museum of Armoury and Chaneliers, Patiala Reviews

Depicts brave saga of Sikh
Jun 18, 2015 05:11 PM1187 Views

The museum is mainly the collections of weapons, armour and few chaneliers which depicts the brave legacies of Sikh warriors and freedom fighters and their struggle against the Mughal rule and British to make our country free from their clutches.

It mainly depicts the historic achievements of Sikh community in their devotion for freedom of their community and the country as well. It also reflects the history of its activities in India and nearby countries during the World War. The collection also includes some of the hand written books of freedom fighters, their poetry for the country, pistols, dresses, shoes etc.

All makes you feel and realize how our freedom fighters have given life for their country by fighting against the British and Mughal. The museum is developed in a big house manner with well organised movement of visitors inside the museum.

It will take around two hours to explore the entire museum. Last, but not the least, taking photograph inside the museum is highly prohibited and is viable to penalized action if taken. The checking of the visitors by deputed personnel is strict because of the security reasons. So, kindly cooperate with them. Smooth transition will make the visit a great experience and fun to explore the rich historic saga of Sikh.
