I recently had the worst travel experience of my life with Murugan Travel dburing our trip to Kulu Manali. The service was absolutely pathetic. The vehicle provided was in terrible condition, extremely uncomfortable, and broke down multiple times during the journey.The worst nightmare occurred when the vehicle stopped in the middle of nowhere, in a no man's land. I was stuck with my wife and kids, feeling completely helpless and terrified. We were stranded overnight for 8 hours before another vehicle arrived to take us to our destination. The fear and anxiety we experienced during that time are indescribable.To make matters worse, the travel agent planned our trip during Holi, expecting us to be in Delhi, completely unaware that the entire city would be closed due to Diwali. How can a travel agent be so incompetent to schedule a trip when the entire city is shut down?This was an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise against using Murugan Travel. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs if you want to have a stress-free and enjoyable trip.

I traveled with Murugan travel & tour to Singapore and Malaysia. Till Chennai from Bangalore my own expense. I enjoyed the trip, with good food and sufficient food, very good guide at Malaysia (still I have touch with him) and excellent hotel. I definitely give 5 to Murugan travels. It's nothing like they shown. The staff and their services are very poor even their behavior is very rude towards the customer. Not value for money, it's a total bad experience. Don't consider it.

Worst experience with Sri Murugan travels. Safety is worst and they will not show places as shown in their list. Guide from Guwahati is bad not suitable for any people.

Even the tour organiser is very bad sitting in the place in office cooly and just kidding the families and making fun of the people. Even rooms are worst. Their idea is to gain more profitable rather people safe and they literally suck your money juicy. Simply waste. You can go directly book flight and simply enjoy the trip without getting pressure from this travels. Start rating is waste not worth of it but by default one is selected. It’s been my 3 mistake with them seriously. I wil not recommended them i have been writing this review with shivering hands in the climate because of the room problem with them. Omg guys please those reading my reviews please don’t choose this travels.

Recently I went on a trip for 2 days from chennai to madurai in innova from Murugan Travels. The service was good and the driver who accompanied us was also good who interacted us very well and the company ensures that we reach safe to the destination and they responded very well in the office at the time of booking. Good Evening

This post/review is submitted from my end on the experience we had with Murugan Travel Agency for a recent trip we had planned and went on. This trip was between 01.05.24 and 05.05.24. This might be little lengthy, but pls have patience to read completely so that you can plan your trip with this agent in careful way in the coming days.

The trip was for Chennai, Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Kullu, and back to Chennai.

The details of the trip rolled out were as below.

Day-1-Plan: Delhi landing and local sightseeing and over night travel and reach to Shimla.

Day-2-Actuals happened was landed at Delhi by 10.30 AM and started travelling from 11.15 AM the whole day and night and reached Shimla by early morning next day (2nd day) between 3.00 to 4.00 AM in 21 seater van.

After reaching Shimla, the agent asked us to deboard the van where the temperature was hovering between 10 to 12 degree Celsius..

In the middle of the road, we deboarded, and the hotel was near about 300 meters from the area where we deboarded the van. In the freezing temperature with family members forced to carry on luggage by our own and reached the hotel.

Hotel being in a hilly region it was having 4 floors from the road level to the bottom floor. We had been allotted room in 1st floor at bottom of the building and again forced to carry on the luggage by own as the lift was also not available.

Apart from this, the hotel room was in a horrible way, and we didn't even expected any star category, but atleast for the amount paid, they should have given a decent room in a good hotel. (From the bathroom, the water was flowing to the hall without even stopping)

Day-2-Plan was to see Kufri and finish lunch and start travelling to Manali and stay over there.

Day-2-Actuals: Reached Shimla between 3.00 to 4.00 AM and refreshed in the horrible hotel and got to Kufri and completed lunch and started travelling to Manali and reached Manali between 3.00 to 4.00 AM next day (3rd Day).

Day-3- As per Plan: Reaching Ice Point, Local sightseeing, and stay overnight.

Day-3- Actuals: We had a guide named Mr.Surya and he came till the area where suit (Ice Point Suit) was provided, and after that, he linked to the driver and asked to follow the driver instructions. So, literally, there was no guidance to us. In this, highlight is we paid 32k for this trip and others in our group have paid 29k. This is per person charge. This charge is inclusive of Rs.1000 for guide per ticket. But stunned why this guide charges we are paying for any non services being rendered by the guide.

With no guidance 3rd day, we spent 3/4th of the day in Ice Point and came back to hotel without even visiting other sites as there was no guidance at all.

Day-4-Plan: River rafting at Kullu and Vaishnova Devi Temple and return back to Delhi by midnight..

Day-4-Actuals: Went for river rafting and reached Delhi by next day (5th day) by 2.00 PM.

Van was in horrible condition, seats were not in structure (push back were not at all working), many seats were oscillating as it didn't have bolt at the base and moreover it didn't go beyond 40 to 60 Km/h. And beyond this on 5th day, before reaching Delhi exactly 28kms van tyre got burst and as the driver was used to drive between 40 to 60 Km/h, luckily we didn't face any tragic incident by God's grace too as the vehicle was encountering whirling effect after the tyre bursted out.

We had 10 months infant and 3.5years old kids too. Think about these kids at these situation..

Day-5-Plan: Checking out room in the morning and moving for a local sightseeing and shopping and departing to Chennai from Delhi Airport.

Day-5- Actuals: Reached hotel by 2.00 PM as we encountered breakdown in the van. Agency has not even bothered to arrange the vehicle for 2 hours as we stranded in the middle of the road.

After 2 hours, and raising our voice we had got spare vehicle (van) being arranged and reached hotel by 2.00 PM and the agent didn't even care to provide breakfast and lunch. Even though we had infants with 10 months and 3 years old kid, Murugan Travel Agency didn't even bother to provide the basic courtesy of food what they have been accepted to provide. Event hough they didn't had the courtesy to come out and convey that pls take care of the breakfast and lunch at our own scope. After raising voice they stepped in and accepted to provide the lunch and meantime we completed the lunch and paid the charges from our pocket.

So entirely the trip was not fair enough and plan was completely at flaw since from the day 1.

My humble request to the people who wanted to plan your trip through this agent, pls think multiple times before booking with them, as we had encountered pathetic experience with Murugan Travel Agency.

Very very poor experience.they are cheating us.we book shiradi .this is the worst travel i see.they told about mumbai(gateway, mahalaxmi).they did nt even have sent guide to visit this places.we don't visited this place.all are fake with this agency. Driver too worst.language problem.room is soo bad they told breakfast and dinner will be given.they give only 2 idli or only 1dosa.too worst experience.so please don't visit this agency and pay of your money.tooo bad trip .for mumbai to shirad travel they wasted 1 day.we don't even visit saibaba temple 2hrs.too bad .only travel it is wasted

I have been a regular customer for more than 10 years. This time I had a very bad experience. I have booked tour CJ and paid 20, 000/- on 4.4.2018 for the tour in 18 th may 2022. Tour was cancelled by the organization due to group not framed. Till date no one is giving proper response and one Mr. Sunder received from me is not picking the phone. They are forced us to file complaint with police or judicial.

Please do not engage with this organisation.

I went a train tour to Bhuvaneshwar -kalkatta tour during July 2019

a) They have collected extra Rs 200 over the cost prescribed in web site

b)Site seeing only 2days that too few places only, average quality food, not supplied in time, unhealthy accommodation not worthy for Rs7990

c)not provided conveyance from Railway station to lodge.

d)Tour not planned properly. Tourist places are under weekly holiday

e)Collected Rs 700 as entrance fees, but spent Rs 120.

Sir Murugan Travel Agency - They are Scammers. Never ever think about planning your trip with this Fraud Agency, you will end up repenting like us, where we completely lost our fun of vacation. We went for a family vacation for Darjelling - Gangtok - Kolkatta(5Nights & 6 Days Package)

the first day of our trip was a total shock to see the condition of hotel they had put us at Darjeeling(hotel Sagarika) even Dogs wont enter that place. the Hotel is in such a filthy condition. when we asked the local guide - Anand, he was very rude saying this is what we get in Darjeeling. since we all have gone with our families with kids, had no option rather than staying at that filthy place. we never felt to be in hotel and spent most of the time outside. what can you do if you get a place worse than a garbage yard to stay.

Their guides behave like rouges who will give rude replies when we question them on anything. the cabs they arrange will all be like dog vans. they will literally treat us like animals and you will left with no option rather than getting adjusted since we have paid all our money before the trip.

Gangtok - condition in Gangtok is also the same. filthy hotel where you will not stay even if they offer you for free.

Our stay in Kolkatta is one of hell like experience. the hotels ACs didnot work. we didnot have proper sleep because of extreme weather in Kolkatta. The next day sight seeing in BUS was a complete fraud, the guide selvam sent his son as guide was showing us Kolkatta just from bus which we can see it sitting at home in youtube. that rouge selvam threatened us using vulgar words and his son left us in the half trip instructing the driver to leave us in airport in mid of the day itself.

Last but not the Least - TOUR MANAGER GOUTHAM. who never answered any of our calls during the entire trip and we were left with no other option and just prayed to return home safely. This is a scam agency who will cheat you and put you in trouble when you are away from home.

Our entire group of 20 people would have made hundreds of call during the entire trip and Goutham never answered our calls.

Don't believe these scammers/Frauds and stay away from them.

During may first week 2019, we gone package tour through Sri Murugan Travel agency, Madurai.

They have charged higher amount but service given by them is very very poor.

Worst food, worst Guide, worst transport arrangements, worst rooms.

In kolkatta, the sub agent has behaved like

Local Rowdy.

Their motive is to suck money from the travellers.

Andaman Trip - Don't go for andaman trip.very worst service.Highly not recommended.

I must give them a minus 5 star rating to them.

Trip arrangement to a customer is the very worst process.they didn't check your details fully.simply rushed to book ticket and will book ticket for you very late time and send you ticket copy at just before 2 days back of the tour start.also they don't care about customer ticket and tour plan.simply told us all our guide will manage you sir.anytime you can call us.but the worst process is you can't contact anybody from andaman.more net work pbm .if luck we get chance networks then they will not answer for our call they will keep on busy on booking process only.not taking any calls from guests.you have to tell anything to the guide for the places you want to see but guide will show only 1 place in havelock and they simply left out from the place up to 2-3 hours .we cant contact anybody to pickup us to see other places.only one beach we can see in the havelock.nodody will help you there.

Please take care your tickets and check all details very carefully.collect original ticket copy from them.other wise they will put wrong names, more typing mistakes and send you edited copy of ticket prints.

I have stopped at portplair boarding for my kid ticket very long time for their type mistake .spicejet simply told they wont allow the 5 year child to board .the boarding gate were closed.i have met very very bad time on the ariport with A&n authorities and even we can't contact them at that time.finally I have came thru with long excuses other wise I have to pay 56000 rs for new ticket for the kid.think how bad this for their service as travel agency.

Initially when we called for ticket booking they will give some price and after few days they will ready to give discount price . they can give 2000 to 4000 discounts but I came to know this price was different for every customer.when we meet other murugan travel passengers in andaman somebody spent 18000/head and some body spent 23000/head higher.

They Arranged Gowtham as Tour manager but the bad is he was not reachable always.They didn't care about the booked customers.they only moving forward for new booking and business.

They are very worst service provider for doing travel business. They dont know about how guest to be treated.

We had proposed to thailand tour for three days. Very worst service provided by murugan travels. The full amount was collected by the agent. Send off at trichy airport. Their work completed. There in Thailand DMK airport the orchid travel agent pickup the tour group. The guide lady named nauty, will not provide any welcome coffee or tea and refreshment. The guide take full control of us, and collect money for each visit. In pattaya she will not provide proper arrangements. For Alcasor show in pattaya she collects 700 bhats from all of us. but it is only 500 bhats. the massage center she collect 600 bhats but it is only 300 bhats. the caberay dance she collects 700 bhats, but it is only 500 bhats. The pattaya walking street is an important. but she will not allow to visit the walking street. Night dinner will not provided. Very very poor service. We called to murugan travels for clarification. They will not answer anything. Friends please be careful of booking through Murugan travels Madurai.

This month I had a chance to go to above tour. First thing they are raised the tour amount in the pretext of GST. but they never give any GST bill for the customers. Up to collecting advance they accepted one amount for the tour. but at the time of departure, having our passport with their hand they are compelling to pay the amount as their wish. in the tour we are at 17 members. Each one is paid different different amounts. there was no uniformity. Tour operator Murugan travels is only a collection agent.In Singapore there is a separte agent. Malaysia another

Very cheapest flight ticket. for the entire 4 hours journey we should not even get a tumbler of plain water.

the tour is not worthy for our money.

Please read my complete review for your safety. This is karthikeyan. I got married on 2nd April 2017. I booked my honeymoon trip in murugan travels on April and we moved to Himalaya. They didn't even taken us to Simla. Just they taken us to dhalli nothing is there to see. From there they taken us to malai on April 13 evening. Just we crossed 25 kms from dhalli. Our bus was in very bad condition. We warned driver to stop the bus twice if it is not good. But he said he can manage. Within a min he twisted the steering and the bus fell down on the road because of break failure. Except driver and guide everyone got injured severe. Lots of bloods and diesels are on the road. I got injured on my rip bone and they taken me to Indira Gandhi hospital. Also one grandma is serious. 24 people got injured. Now am on bed nearly for 2 months. I asked a refund from them. But they not even responding and saying we won't refund the amount. Please don't ever book it trip with this travel. Pls Be careful. For more info pls call me 7708557827
