Stay in this hotel if you want to injure yourself
Mar 31, 2013 05:55 AM 1188 Views

I had a very bad experience staying in Mughal Sheraton Agra. My kid got seriously injured while swimming in kids pool, the pool light was out and the metal pierced the foot very badly. There is no maintenance at all. All the pool lights come out just by water ripples. Please be very careful. The reception staff does not know anything, I booked online for a 2 night package but the hotel staff denied that this is not your package and confirmed after 2 hours that yes this is your package!!!!.

They really don't know about hospitality. My mini bar was always empty as no one bothered to put anything in it. A thumbs down for this hotel and its staff.

Stay at your own risk!!!!

Not worth the money.

Recently on my trip to Agra in Feb, I stayed for a night at this hotel. I was with a foreign client of mine and we booked 2 rooms. The person behind the reception seemed pretty cold with me and was more than happy to entertain my foreign client rather than me. I paid 11, 000 for single occupancy for my room and my friend paid for his room. When I asked for discount I was given a cold look. I was shocked to see the price for the same room on travelguru.com at Rs.6000 later when I came back home.

Once I reached my room I was pretty happy to see my room. A large LCD screen, great flooring, and the thing I liked most was the glass partition between the room and bathroom. You can see inside the bathroom from the bedroom and vice versa.

I stepped into the bath and found foreign brand shampoo, shower gel and conditioner but was too disappointed that there was no loofah.

Came out and thought of shaving. Found a cheap 10rs Gillette disposable razor and a cheap shaving cream but whoa there's no shaving brush. How do the hotel guys one can apply the shaving cream.

Went to their restaurant and was greeted with the same ugly chairs which you can find at Bukhara restaurant, New delhi. They are damn uncomfortable. Food was fine and went down fine.

Then we thought of sitting by the pool side and having some coffee but after waiting for more than 20 mins found no person to attend to us so we simply left back to our rooms and had a nice sleep.

The breakfast at the restaurant was really pathetic. The buffet was one of the worst I ever had in terms of the dishes and also the taste.

Finally had to hit te road so just checked out and called for my car.

But wait there's still some aweful news left. My driver was given a bed in hotel dormitory and when I asked him how was it. He simply said that he couldnt sleep all night and it would have been much better if he slept in the car rather than the dorm. Too many mosquitoes, no pillows an no blankets. Jut imagine a 5 star hotel giving these privileges.

It was great

It was the great experiance when I was in the hotel.in my opinion is is a nice hotel according to the medium cateogory person .The hotel is well constructed with nice, clean rooms and hospitable staff.

There are some good activities planned out for children plus spacious lawns and outdoor games like golf, croquet etc. Lunches are good but dinner is rather boring with the same.

am always fascinated by anything new. Always try to learn the skills I don’t have.

As a perfectionist and philanthropist, I enjoy helping people and authoring Nonfiction Books. Basically I am a Hindi writer but my books have been translated in English and several regional languages.

I always try to pick a new subject and write about that. My favourite past time is Futurology, Psychic Readings, Career and Personality Improvement Counseling.

I study my subject remotely on the basis of the psychical cosmic concentration techniques. Analyse the events, problems in their lives and suggest the suitable failsafe strategies.

I love watching animated, action and comedy films and listening soft Hindi music or instrumentals.

I dislike terrorism, fanatics, egotism, communalism and snobbery of any sort.  I would readily respect any person who is not suffering from any complex of being superior from others.

I like: Tandoori Rotis, Arhar Ki daal, Chowpati, Marine Drive, My friends

Hi All,

In my various visits to Agra,I was looking for some good hotel. Finally I visited Mugha Sheraton. The place is like heaven. The staff is also very polite and co-operative. Help desk is also very prompt.

All the restaurants,Gym,Swimming pool and other leisure places are very good.Food is very very delicious. Now I have stayed almost 5 times in this hotel.Overall I can say that if money is not an issue then u must all go and stay at this place.

The music being played at the background is very soothing all the time.I really enjoyed my stay here. You will find this hotel occupied almost all the time. Its' a good place to be with family and kids. Even I have been here for lots various official conferences and events. The guests we had invited at the hotel were also very delighted about the hotel and they enjoyed to the fullest.

It is also very near to Taj Mahal and other historical monuments.Rating according to me will be excellent

Good rates & okay service

The hotel is well constructed with nice, clean rooms and hospitable staff. There are some good activities planned out for children plus spacious lawns and outdoor games like golf, croquet etc. Lunches are good but dinner is rather boring with the same Indian dishes and highly insipid sweet dishes. Breakfast is a mad-house there with the staff unable to cope with the rush (timings short). Overall a pleasant stay except that the staff is ill-equipped to cope with a full-house and food needs improvement. The freebies were not really appreciated - a cut in the bill would have been better than old rejected ice-creams, inflated parlour bills and stale pop-corn!!!
