MSC Cruises

This is a difficult feedback for me to give, as I have dedicated a lot of time and effort to this company. I joined in 2017 and was committed to working with the company for the next 20-25 years. However, I have been deeply disappointed by the lack of care for employees and poor management. It seems that opportunities for career advancement are largely given to Italian employees, often without the necessary qualifications or skills. Nepotism appears to be a significant factor in this company. While the company promotes itself as a family-oriented organization, it seems to apply this ethos only to Italians, and not to anyone else.

Although the company does exhibit positive qualities in terms of protecting its own interests, it fails to uphold labor and employee rights. I have observed that the company targets countries with vulnerable labor forces and then exploits these employees as they see fit. Specifically, I have noticed that women and girls are often taken advantage of by Italian employees, who seem to treat them as objects and give them preferential treatment if they are willing to compromise their integrity.

This office is in an industrial estate so it is really smelly. We have to go outside to use the washroom because there are no washrooms inside the office and the basic infrastructure to work is also not good.

The H. R department is sweet only at the time of recruitment, but when you complain to them about the politics and harassment that we go to they do nothing since they are friendly with the senior department.

You will get new challenges every day and you learn a lot of things, but sometimes it is very confusing since you are doing multiple things.
