Metro Cash n Carry II, Bangalore

After taking over the place from relianceby Metro- I visited Metro super market near Shanti Nagar. Bus stand Bangalore.

The place inside is so suffocating with no AC or fans provided by the owners

It is practically becoming difficult to go around and shop there, and I am seeing the entire staff also there sweating and suffering without air circulation inside

Metro being such a big organisation should not try to save money by not installing fans are coolers or AC like this

Practically, it is the image of Metro that is getting spoiled

Of course, I will think twice before visiting the place again and will not also recommend my friends to go there for any kind of shopping

And frankly, when compared to the rates of the items quoted by earlier owners were much cheaper and public used to get incentives also

We went into the store today to be told that our card was blocked...sent from one counter which didn't know anything to another where again people knew nothing...40 mins of our time wasted to discover that there was no issue on our side, and that their system had blocked it in error. Asked for the CRM (customer relationship manager) who just kept saying it was the HQ which blocked the card and then got into a fight with us...unfit for the role as he doesn't in understand the 'A' of customer service...horrible place with horrible people... Gosh!

I visited yesterday this shop, and it was showing amazing offer that you will get double bed blanket of INR 1999 in just IRR 849...considering the winter is coming.........I tool a bag without thinking a lot. But while doing billing it was showing that the blanket is of 1299 INR. I told to the person at billing about offer but he told that it may got expired....is it the way to do business? Because of the winter and fear of Corona in this season I took it with max price...but I guess this was my last day to visit that store..Big bazaar is much more great than this. Trust is most important thing in business..May Metro will learn..

I have worked with metro cash and carry for few years at middle management role..I have realised that in last few years Ex Walmart .take over most positions with supervision .

It's 2nd Walmart company .Own brand people have spoiled a career of many employees

Hello friends today I share my personal feelings with metro cash n carry ll.

This word contain more and more categories like fashion shoes , milk products. But the remark in this mall is to cost for the products.

Some products are very nasty I think those products are too old.

I bought fridge in last year summer but that fridge damaged within one month. My mother scolded me for buying this product.

So friends I suggest you don't be cheated like me.

About a shirt which is 3000 rupees worth. So in this mall products have high rates. English Mall I bought a shoe which is a worth of 3500. Hindi small products have high rates than others stores. If you want to buy this products with low rates you can choose other stores or online stores.

Hi All,

Recently I had been to Metro cash and Carry, mall in Banglore. I have been through mall marts and malls in the past but I could not find offers in any one of them like Metro Mall. The mall is rich in all day to day life requirement items in huge varieties like grocery, utensils, stationary, gifts, garments, leather items, travel bags and suitcase, chairs and other plastic and electronic items etc., with huge discounts which you cannot avail in any other mall. I request everyone to visit it once when free, it is open on all the days irrespective of working and holidays. The ambience in the mall is good and they have provided good parking place for two and four wheelers for free, when compared with other malls parking is big problem. I request everyone to visit the mart and avail the discounts which you will like to visit again and again. Trust me your wallet will earn huge profit.

THERE IS OFTEN MISTAKES IN BILL BECAUSE OF CARELESS EMPLOYEES AND WRONG LABELING BY THE STORE. THE RETURN IS A BIG ISSUE AS THE STORE WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL ASK YOU TO GO TO THE BRAND. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST AND UNCONCERNED. LONG QUEUES AND EXPENSIVE PRICING IN THE NAME OF WHOLESALE MAKES IT USELESS TO GO TO THE STORE OR GO THROUGH THE HARDSHIP OF BUYING FROM METRO RETAIL.

Here metro is affording things in name of wholesale for public but when we visited there many items are almost double the rate . Pista half kg is just 400 rs outside but there it was 800. And men's belt is only 200 or 300 outside there it was 1500 rs. So not all products are cheap here check the metro rate compare it with market rate for every product and buy. Even sona masoori rice was very costly.it was more than retail price. 50 rs rice was 58 rs here and 66 rs. Really this is meaningless. Retail prices are even less than here but they say it is wholesale rate. Be very careful.

This place is valid only for the Metro Card Holders.

It has a huge parking space and parking is absolutely free for the Metro cardholders. I find bit difficult in finding the parking space especially on weekends that is Saturday and Sunday rest of the days there aint any parking problem at all.

Ambience is not great as it looks like a huge godown a warehouse and its filled with products. There is wide range and variety of products found over for example- clothing, electronic, electrical, liquors, stationary, food products, shoes, curtains, poultry, milk and milk products, undergarments etc.

Its surely value for money as they sell products less that than the MRP and the prices are further reduced if you buy the articles in bulk. Its the best place for bulk buying.

I always keep visiting malls with my friends during weekends and last weekend I visited Metro cash n carry mall in bangalore and was very upset visiting there.

First of all there is a very huge problem of parking in here and if we get parking then they charge us 100 rupees per hour which is a very big amount for parking.

Mall interface not that good compared to other malls in bangalore and most of the elevators stop working and we have to take stairs.

There are very less number of stores and limited products but the main problem I faced is they charge us very huge amount for a low quality product and visiting here is really a waste of money and time.

Hi, I wanted to share my dissatisfaction with the service by Metro cash & carry staffToday I had an issue and spoke to one of the metro staff regarding the issue in the service text message as I was not receiving from Metro on my mobile phone. The staff guy was not at all helpful and was not ready to listen to my words at all. He told that he cannot help as he was in a rush to go home. I asked him to escalate the matter to next level but he said he can't and ignored. This sort of behavior puts a negative feeling. I request you guys not to shop with Metro if the similar behavior shown

They have the Most exceedingly bad section framework. Hi Everyone,

Be careful with Metro while purchasing any items. Displaying price and billing price is totally different. In Display they will show you lesser price but in billing it will more. Thanks to God that I come to know after long time. Even I shout earlier also but I thought on that time that may be it sis mistake of software but toady I found that in 14 items price was different in 8 items they are charging higher rate.

And mostly be careful while purchasing loose items.

-> Almost in all items I found that if you weight is above 1 kg and less than 2 kg then their billing system shows the price of 2 kg not for 1.2 kg.(I found same problem for Apple, potato, fish onion)

-> For cabbage their billed 76/kg when I start shouting then one guy came and say sorry may be software problem and they billed 29 rs/kg.

-> For Litchi display 150 rs/kg total weight. I have taken one pack weight .852 Rs Billing price 149. When I asked how it possible then first try to tel me some different story when I start arguing then they tell me sir due to weight problem it happen. It means that Metro have weight machine problem also which gives wrong bar-code. Be careful while purchasing money is your.

This is the worst mall. Goods here are very old. Its infrastructure is also bad. No proper ventillation. Very dirty. Looks like a mall from somaliya. Machines for selling look like they are20years old. Worst possible offers. All are not allowed. Only those who have tin number can enter . Avoid going here. Worst mall for kids and even adults.
