First of all, I would like mergrocer.com to know that after ordering from their site, I had to call their customer care number 20 times for the follow-up of the delivery. Even then the delivery was delayed by 24 hours. Later when the order was delivered the next day, it was incomplete, some of the products ordered were missing. Few of the products were in bad condition(biscuits and corn flakes were totally crushed) which are useless for me.
As I had made the payment in advance, when the delivery was done, I wasn't informed that the delivery is incomplete. Later, when I reconciled the items with their website list, then I realized that the products are missing. It is highly unprofessional that the customer has to call their number to ask for the complete order. When I called up their customer care number(spoke to Arif and his supervisor), they responded that the products were not available and will be delivered by 8th July 12:00 noon.
I am not interested in the amount that mergrocer.com have credited to my account/wallet. Shopping for groceries for the first time itself from mergrocer.com was inconvenient, tedious, time consuming task which I am not willing to perform again.
A start-up like this usually is created to benefit the people by saving time and effort in buying groceries but theirs is a unique concept where the customer is harassed and the service provided is highly unprofessional. It was a mistake ordering from their website the first time. Such mistake should not be repeated and hence they should transfer the amount in cash and not in the wallet as I won't be ordering from their website ever again.
In addition, I have made strong recommendations against mergrocer.com.
