Location-
This one is based in the Marauli of South Delhi, easily accessible by won Vehicles on Road or by Metro. Several famous monuments are around this place, so someone having plan of visiting several tourist places or tombs of Delhi can plan for this.
About the Place
Rajon ki Baoli, may sounds like that built for the kings but while enjoying my time with friends in this beautiful place, I got to know something different. This one was built for the marons, who were the worker of the King, whose monuments are also nearby.
The place is basically a stepwell, three different floors and built on the sprawling over a massive space with incredible beauty. This one has a well on the back and pool on the front side with beautifully engraved walls. The walls has Graffiti as well as something written on either Arabic or Urdu language.
My Experience
Most of the Delhi's monuments gets crowd of a large number of people due to being famous but this one has less people visiting it. I liked the less crowded beautiful monument, where I was getting peace of mind and pleasure for eyes with its beauty.
I was with my 4-5 friends, we enjoyed our time their by taking advantage of the scenic beauty and capturing several pictures in it.
Best Time To Visit and Recommendation
I had my visit to this place in Summers of 2015 but I'll not recommend this season for going their. As the sun in the sky makes the head burns, sips the energy and hard to roam in the monument.
Plan your one day trip to this one in the soothing weather- it can be Winters, Autumn or Spring season. I think the monument will look more beautiful in Rainy Season, you can also plan to go there in the rains.
