Meghalaya Housing Guest House, Shillong

Blessed with natural beauty and flora unique to India, with a wealth of pines, firs, orchids and tropical vegetation the hill state of meghalaya is also known as Scotland of the East. Our stay in meghalaya was fantastic and we stayed not in a hotel but in a housing guest house. We got reference from our close friend. We were very satisfied with the hospitality of the management.

Meghalaya is unknown to many indians but its a great to visit once in meghalaya. Ìts like guest house feel like  homestay. Inside all the facilities were available. From breakfast to dinner we got tasty foods. Here food types are quite bit different from what we ate in bengal. Food is less spicy and oily. The service boy was very helpful and ready to serve.

Meghalaya there is a lot of places to visit. We were staying in shillong which is a capital of meghalaya and a hill station. From the guest house they arranged for a jeep and we visited all places. There are lot more guest house and hotels are available in shillong. Best time to visit is during June to September.
